DMV requires eight hours of instruction, not to include any breaks...Any company not meeting this requirement is not in compliance with DMV, may be considered fraud, and could invalidate your certificate. Be careful...

We also have the DMV approved eight hour online Driver Improvement Clinic course available. Course and final exam are done online with the certificate emailed to you. No more coming in to take the exam!

The goal of the course is to provide drivers with collision prevention techniques and promote attitudes of mutual understanding, courtesy, and cooperation with others on the road.

We offer the National Safety Council certified eight-hour Defensive Driving Course DDC-8 (Va), which is approved by the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles and accepted by Virginia Courts.

The 9am - 6pm course time includes 8 hours of instruction not to include the breaks, as required by DMV, and allows for a 10-minute break in the morning, 40 minutes for lunch, and a 10-minute break in the afternoon.

Experiencia fantástica: As much as I dreaded going to this class I'm ultimately glad I did. Greg is a very good teacher and really gets the point across. He doesn't just read straight from a book he's very interactive and shares everyday life stories giving you a better point of view and understanding. All it takes is 21 days to make a difference and form a new habit.

Experiencia fantástica: Tremendously impressed by the instructor Greg Blair. The dude is a one-man show that keeps the class engaged through his heartfelt and witty anecdotes. Never did I think I would come into this class and actually learn something, yet I DID and was entertained and engaged while doing so. Equipped to be a defensive driver now :D

Experiencia fantástica: One of the best instructors I’ve ever ran across hands down!! You can tell that it’s more than just a job to him and he believes in and practices wholeheartedly everything that he teaches. It was actually a pretty fun experience. Highly recommend!!

Experiencia negativa: If you have to work, or have an emergency don't go here. They do not care about you. They just want money

Mr. Sherrill,
I'm offended by your insinuation that I don't care about anything but the money. I'm very flexible when it comes to working with people's schedules and/or life occurrences.

You, on the other hand, asked me to let you leave the class (being conducted from 9am-6pm) early so you could be at work by 5, which doesn't constitute an emergency by any means.

That doesn't meet DMVs requirements and it would be a criminal offense to have let you do it.

To expect me to put my integrity and career at risk, so you can be somewhere on time, is ridiculous...

Experiencia negativa: I've completed the course paid the fee and showed up at the final test location and nobody can log me on to take final test. There's no prompt for them to put password in. This is my only day I can take it and I've followed all instructions to a t very disappointed and expect a refund. And to boot tried to contact Greg several times with no response. And his hours are posted as being open now. Scam???

I'm sorry that you experienced some inconvenience with the process of completing your final exam at one of my testing facilities this Saturday morning 3/31/18. I have these to make it easier for people to take their final exam without having to schedule an appointment with me specifically. I'm not, however, responsible for the knowledge or experience of every clerk that might be working at these locations the second someone walks in the door on any given day.

Furthermore, since your first thought was to make disparaging remarks by voice mail and on this social media platform as to my 19 year career of professionalism and legitimacy in this industry, I feel the need to respond to you through it as well.

You need to plan better. I'm sure you had more than a minute to get this done so your failure to manage your time properly is the root cause of your "disappointment", not because I wasn't available to answer the 10+ phone calls/rude voice mails you made in desperation in less than thirty minutes Saturday morning. I might also suggest you take a hard look at your anger management issues because you certainly seem to have some...the world doesn't revolve around you and your specific agenda.

I returned your call at my first opportunity, (which you didn't answer) and when you returned my call (which I did answer) I guided you through the process of accessing the final exam page and you were able to take and pass the exam early Saturday afternoon.

As far as refunds are concerned, I'm more than happy to return your money, delete your online coursework, tear up your certificate, and let you go to another company and start the whole process over.
Say the word...short of that, professionalism and integrity requires me to process your successful completion of the course and mail your certificate as I have done for thousands of people over the last nineteen years. Lucky you.
