Experiencia fantástica: Greg is an amazing driving instructor. He is very patient, kind, knowledgeable and easy to schedule appointments with. My daughter really enjoyed his teaching style and learned valuable driving skills. She just passed her driver license test with a 100% and her DMV tester said he has absolutely nothing bad to say, except that she should keep up the great defensive driving. I attribute a lot of this to Greg and I could not recommend him more!

Experiencia fantástica: The new owner, Greg Chapra, was very patient with our daughter Madeleine. It's great that he's local to Davis, because he's familiar with the area and with the kind of "special guidance" new drivers need around here (watching for bicycles, understanding the bicycle traffic lights, etc.). After each lesson, he always took time to both discuss how Madeleine did, and also what sorts of things we should continue to work on between lessons. Seeing her improvement and her growing confidence behind the wheel was reassuring for me as a parent. And she passed her road test the first time through!

Experiencia fantástica: Highly recommend!! Easy to book and great instruction. When I could not find my daughter's certificate the night before her Diving Test Greg took my call at 8pm and helped me get a duplication in time for her test. LIFESAVER!! I was in such a panic and he was SO KIND and helpful!!

Experiencia fantástica: Our experience with North Valley Driving School has been easy. Initially I called and left a message. Received a return call from Dave to explain the process and get my twins scheduled for their first 2 hour driving instruction. We were able to schedule my twins back to back with driving instructor Greg who met us at Donut Nook and gave each of the boys feedback and things to work on. The best part is being able to schedule on the weekend and both of my boys truly enjoyed all three of the two hour driving appointments with Greg. On the 2nd and 3rd appt Greg went above and beyond and did the exchange of the twins at my house due to me having to take my daughter to her skating lessons. If I could leave a 10 out of 10 gold star rating I would. My twins worked on what Greg recommended between the appts. It has been wonderful to see how nervous they were initially to how prepared and aware they are now. Thank you to Greg and Dave with North Valley Driving School!

Experiencia negativa: I was driving through Chico when this vehicle passed me on the right at speeds much greater than the 65 posted max speed limit. It was a vehicle from North Valley Driving School with a student sign on back. Our highways and roads are dangerous enough without training new drivers to be aggressively bad drivers. Save your future driving record, and family members, by not training with this company, where apparently the right way to drive is unknown by them.

Experiencia negativa: Very unprofessional, owner David Brandt came speeding up to my house at 8 am yelling at me that my son missed his appointment that I never scheduled. Didn't even call me but decided to come to my house unannounced and yell at me. Very unprofessional and would not recommend any teenage driver be behind a wheel with such a loose Cannon. Contacted better business bureau

Experiencia fantástica: My son just finished driving lessons here and they were amazing. Took him driving in the mountains, practiced freeway on/off all the way to Oroville, parallel parking, etc. Best part was he got all of his lessons done in a couple days. Very nice, professional guy.

Experiencia negativa: If I could rate them a no star, I would! I called and spoke to someone on a Thursday and they said I would be called back on Monday. no call, so I called them No answer and left a message, still 2 days later and no call to schedule. this is a joke!

Experiencia negativa: The lessons are fine I learned a lot as far as driving. The reason for my poor review is I paid for 3 lessons, and the day of my third lesson I waited at my home, where I was picked up for all the lessons, for well over an hour. I called them and left a voicemail and did not hear back from them for WEEKS until the instructor showed up, unannounced, to my home because ‘they called but I never responded.’ I’m a very busy student, who works, and I don’t call back every missed call I have, because if it is important one can leave a voicemail (which I never received) We set up another appointment during this unannounced visit, for today (feb 8th), and AGAIN the instructor did not show up, and I have not received a SINGLE call. (If I recieved phone calls prior to the two missed lessons saying they were no longer happening this wouldn’t be an issue, but this was not the case, so I have wasted over 3 hours waiting for the instructor to never show up.) So I’m saying forget it, and they can keep the money I paid for that third lesson that will never happen. I don’t want a third lesson at this point and I’m not wasting a second more of my time waiting, especially when I don’t even receive a call if my appointment no longer works for them. (Which I would have understood.)
