Experiencia negativa: Extremely rude over the phone when I called about pricing. I was planning on booking driving lessons for my son until he got really rude, rushed me off the phone, and hung up on me.

Experiencia negativa: Kingston Answered my questions information mad and agry and giving names. I went with other company for BWT with better price and costomer service .

Experiencia negativa: The owner was rude and unprofessional. When you teach new drivers, you must have patience and be kind. He lacks basic social skills. He made a slick comment about what I was wearing even though my outfit was nothing inappropriate! I made a mistake during my practice and he made me feel so stupid instead of trying to teach me what I did wrong. Would not recommend.

Experiencia negativa: Listen I didn’t do the driving school I just called, and when they called me back a man who must have just found out someone peed in his juice answered. I’m asking for classes in Spanish a simple yes or no question. He yells in the phone we do not! Offer classes in Spanish someone can sit there with her and translate but it won’t be me! And hangs up. I’ll trying to say is read this and decide if this who you want teaching you how to drive a call. Anyway recommendation go to all star driving instead.

Experiencia negativa: Terrible attitude. I simply asked why we need to have 2 session for i can drive i just need to use somebodies car and then he got angry and hung up.

Experiencia fantástica: Larry and Marie are both super accommodating and great instructors. I passed my test in first attempt . I am thankful to these guys as I had a situation to get my license in a months’s time ( could have lost my job otherwise) and I had no prior driving experience . I was very helpless at that point. They both were very responsive and kind enough to help me get the needed lessons in a month’s time , squeezed in schedules even on work weeks (M-F) , would pick/drop me for classes. I appreciate their efforts. ( I bugged Larry alot , he’s cool u guys and will help u in all possible ways…just hang in there….sorry larry if u r reading this.)Larry is someone u wanna talk to in-person. He might be a little not-so-responsive on text which might come off as rude but in reality ..Great guy. This was definitely the most budget friendly option and they teach adults (25+) which is great. Definitely recommend .

Experiencia negativa: I called about how the driving school service works. Driving school has changed in the last 5 years since my older son did it. Mainly, the book knowledge part mandated by the state is online. I did not know that. Kingston is the same price is All Star driving school in Boardman. The price is $400 for the online portion for the 24 hour online portion of it and $99 for the 8 hour driving the portion of it. The problem is this guy's attitude stinks, rude, and unprofessional. He acts like he couldn't be bothered taking my call and doesn't care or really want my business. He then stated he had to go like I was infringing on his time. Duly noted. Avoid this business and take your business for someone who actually at least acts like they want it.

Experiencia fantástica: I could not be more honest and sincere when I say that this driving school does the job, and does it well. I see that a lot of the reviews complain about the professionalism of this institution, especially when calling on the phone. I met Larry (the guy on the phone) in person and he is one of the sweetest people you could talk to and he actually cares about each individual student. He also made sure the school is compatible to elderly and disabled customers. I came to Kingston Driving school after I couldn't for the life of me get an appointment with All Star Driving School. When I came, they were very professional and quickly got me in contact with my instructor to schedule my lessons. I am a YSU student studying away from my parents so I really appreciated the fact that they came and picked me up/ dropped me off at home for each lesson. All Star would not provide a similar service despite me living only 7 minutes from their location. My instructor Marie was very good at teaching me and I was ready for the test after eight hours of driving despite me having no experience driving beforehand. On the day of my test, Larry himself offered to take me because my instructor was unable to due to the inconvenient timing I booked the test. This driving school actually cares about the success of students and that is why in the future I will, without hesitation, recommend it to anyone searching for a driving school.

Experiencia negativa: Called to ask a few questions about the program.. when I was trying to clarify the answer to the question, whoever answered the phone was very rude and had this aggressive tone when saying the answer again as if it was such a burden to their day…definitely looking elsewhere

Experiencia fantástica: I am a 21 year old who at the time in April didn't know how to drive Also had no one in my family with a valid license. I looked and looked for a Driving school until I found Kingston on their Website. Their Prices were the cheapest I've seen and blows away All Star by miles. Spoke to Mr. Kingston and then I got started. My Instructor named Dave was a Very Kind and Patient guy. 2 months later, I did fail my Road test the 1st time but that was 100% on me for entering a Do Not Enter out of Nervousness that I failed the Cones. Anyway On Try 2 I passed it. I would like to take this time to Thank Kingston and their staff for helping me achieve something I thought I was never going to do or get too. I recommend them to any Teenager or Young Adult who have no one to help them in their family to go to them. They beat everybody else and you won't get a better deal anywhere else.

Experiencia positiva: I love the driver experience and the instructor is great. However the phone number that is provided here is the home phone so the guy give me the instructor phone number. Hes not rude, but its not very perfessional to have a personal phone number as a business. People will get confused.

Experiencia fantástica: I lost my license due to medical reasons, and now need to drive with hand controls. I needed some training time in my vehicle. I was trained by Al, a trainer with a lot of safety knowledge and a lot of good tips. Al talked me through a driving test as well as assisted me with my pylon practice. I spent a total of 5 hours with Al and appreciate his help in preparing me for my test. I passed without issue.
