Experiencia negativa: They charge 3% if you pay with a DEBIT CARD along with a credit card. Went to their office to pay. The person at the office would not accept payment until I scheduled. I called to schedule. Would not take payment day of lesson. Another trip to office.

Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful experience - from the personal driving classes in Coppell, to the online classes, to the actual driving test and DPS document submission - all went great. The submission of the docs to DPS was an added bonus - and we avoided having to deal with the DMV! We got the license TWO business days after his test - needless to say he was very happy! Definitely will refer Green Light to anyone that I know that has an upcoming driver!!

Experiencia fantástica: Disregard the mixed reviews. I was hesitant to sign my twin daughters up at first given what I was reading, however the end result was fantastic. Both girls took lessons and tested with GLDA. The problem is that acquiring a driver’s license in the state if Texas is a convoluted bureaucratic process. GLDA is a private business dealing with the hand they are dealt from the state of Texas. Just be sure to read and follow all of the rules implemented by the state and all will go well with GLDA. Also, I thought the drive time scheduling would be more akin to checking in on a flight (meaning I had to be the first one online at exactly 8 pm on Monday night), but it was not. Scheduleing drives was easy and my daughters always managed to go at the same time and on the days they wanted. The staff is very friendly and more than accommodating. I would not hesitate to recommend GLDA to anyone looking for a driving school.

Experiencia fantástica: Great experience with driver test scheduling and instructor. Their paperwork checklist was very helpful, and they also submitted everything to the state on our behalf so we could avoid a trip to the Texas DPS. Had our license just two days after the test!

Experiencia negativa: This is the worst business I have ever paid for services. They are worse than any government agency i ever attempted to work with. Nice people, good instructors, completely inept design of the processes. It is a bad idea to try to use this business at this time. You will be angry constantly as you try to get your kids the hours they need. Impossible business model.

Experiencia negativa: Encountered them a couple times on the road allowing student drivers to do rolling stops instead of full stops. One rolling stop almost led to an accident. Texas allows for Parent-taught driver education and there are lots of online support resources to help with it. Don’t hand the responsibility of making your kids safe drivers to a stranger as the risk are to high. Response to Businesses Response: Yes, your record spoke for itself when one of your cars almost hit me because they didn’t stop at a stop sign. Not to long later while I was waiting to pick someone up in the area, I watched them do another rolling stop. I guess y’all don’t teach stopping at stop signs until the end and clearly take no responsibility when someone decides to bring the information to your attention.

Experiencia negativa: Good luck on trying to get on the driving time We have been trying for the past months The schedule is always full I literally had to set up the alarm to get on right at 7 and still no available . And I would get the text or email that driving time open, but as soon as I get on and still no available I will not recommended for anybody

Experiencia negativa: Horrible course son tried for two days and because of his learning disability couldn’t do the course. They offered no refund. Only a credit of 200 out of 500 for my other child. Try aceable my son got his certificate from there instead and passed his test with flying colors.

Experiencia positiva: Very pleasant staff. However, after following their printed instructions, we almost went to the DMV without 2 documents that were not listed on their "what to bring" list. Be sure to read the DPS website or brochure yourself so as to not make a mistake!

Experiencia negativa: Was turning left on a one lane road. Only had to wait 3 cars before being able to turn but that was too slow for the single guy driving who I assume was an instructor. Tore out past on the shoulder aggressively. I hope their business is slow I wouldn’t want many of their drivers on the roads.

Experiencia fantástica: Having two teenage grands on the road ... these kids need a strict driving instructor! It’s a wild and scary world on the highways even for the most experienced drivers.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible. Run. Go elsewhere. Difficult to schedule anything, including drive times. The staff is rude, aggressive, and mean to students. Thus, making them afraid to drive in addition to not being able to get drive times.These are kids people! You are in the wrong business.
