Experiencia fantástica: Hello, Recently, I took my road test with the driving school and passed!! Mr. Kelvin, Mr. Ken, and Mr. Weldon are really awesome people when it comes to getting their students prepared for the roads ahead in life. Driving is a major milestone anybody can accomplish, but it can also present a big challenge who might not be used to the idea of driving. Surely, these three went out of their way to not just only provide the basics but teaching us how to survive. Mr. Kelvin is an awesome instructor who exudes patience, confidence, and independence. Even on exam day, he was clear on the instructions given, and he did not provide any stumbling block whatsoever. He was straightforward in providing feedback to help me become the driver I am today (compared to when I could not find the gas and brake pedal the first time I drove). Mr. Weldon is another awesome driving instructor. He was very encouraging, and we went over things like parallel parking, 2-point turns, and driving all across Galveston and Southeast Houston. He helped me to be confident on the roads, and not fight the steering wheel, so much so, he even took me on the highway a few times. Mr. Ken was excellent in providing in-class instruction when it comes to knowing the rules of the road, traffic laws, and even took time to talk about his life stories to teach us life lessons that not only we will get to take with us to driving, but in life. I am extremely grateful I had a driving school across the street (literally) who was willing to go above and beyond for all of their students as long as they see the student is looking to put in the work, and not just show up and be gone for a few months without communication. Thank you, Mr. Kelvin, Mr. Weldon, and Mr. Ken, for making Driver's Education fun, and please do not stop accomplishing your mission. God bless you!

Experiencia fantástica: I had a great experience at Island Driving School - Galveston Branch! Ms.Jamie Yeager, the school representative was very kind & helpful with navigating the whole A-Z process of obtaining a Driving Permit in Texas. I took 6 classes along with the Texas DPS approved 3rd party road test with Mr.Charlie Molis my driving instructor. He was extremely polite & gave clear instructions with patience on how to drive and we shared a nice camaraderie! With every class I gained confidence on road & incorporated the tips & techniques he gave me. I successfully passed the road test and got my license! I would recommend this driving school to anyone living in Galveston or nearby.

Experiencia negativa: Mrs. Thomas, bayou rd. elementary who owned part in this hardship liscening or permit, you can not control others wrongs when you are driving on water, dead ends and without the users permission, hardship of do it yourself, ER, ermergency, a desire to save life and matter, I want my cost of a lie made true your Defensive Driving videos or comedy showcases with a so called Sane or One who has a DL. What is it to refugees, and businesse they have legalized and approved DUI to misdemeaners bars, schools, two minimum at the Christmas party, who drives ya home, SELF we buy that disaster and blue takes fame

Experiencia negativa: My niece has had a rough year so to bring her spirit up my sister made a decision to allow her to get her permit, they were both excited about this they decided to go to ISLAND DRIVING SCHOOL and i just have to say if i was not on that phone call with her i would not believe that in organization like that would talk to someone on the phone with that much disrespect and unprofessional behavior now my niece is feeling even worse than before the conversation that was had ....i recommended that if you want your child to feel like dirt from just having one conversation with unprofessional people than please by all means take your child there ❤

Experiencia negativa: Owner of company is very rude. They do not tell you that if your child miss more than 10 days of school they will not have permit to drive. He also stated that I should have made sure my child was in school. Very unprofessional and rude from the owner to staff
