I was able to pass my cdl with Eaton 10 on the first attempt all thanks to everything they teach and the atmosphere can’t be beat! Highly highly recommend! Was well worth it to me to travel there for my education! Can’t say enough great things about everyone at the school!

The best part for me is the variety of instructors, vehicles, and ease of retaining what they are teaching. Former students and them will understand i give taylormade all 5s.

Experiencia fantástica: Enrollment was easy and Simple, Gene Laid it all put for me and helped me apply for school Grants and scholarships. She is extremely nice and great and getting things done. As for schooling itself, Robert was extremely professional and just in 1 day with him my backing skills improved all around, The Classroom criteria was also more laid out and easy to comprehend. When it comes to Pre-Trip and Driving I mean this when I say it, I could not have done it without my top tier Instructor James. He exceeded all expectations — he was far beyond a five-star teacher. He demonstrated exceptional attentiveness, taking the time to clearly explain and demonstrate every part of the curriculum and making sure I had a firm understanding of everything. His professionalism, dedication, and ability to make complex material easy to understand made the learning experience truly outstanding. I’m grateful for his commitment and devotion to his students. He knows how to get you to relax and think things through and make everything stick and have some good laughs when doing soon. Definitely Highly recommend!!!

They got my husband in quickly for his classes during one of his recurring slow seasons. They really do care and they really do their best to see you leave prepared to pass your CDL with the state. A huge thank you to Marcianna for helping me nail my pre trip, Tracey had my terrible backing fixed in a weekend and James for being an absolute amazing driving teacher, he was a phone call away when I was stressing out about my state test, he calmed me down and I went on to nail my test first try. Experiencia fantástica: So this is the second driving school I've attended. I accidentally chose the first school because it was close to my home. Come to find out they didn't teach a manual transmission. Which limited my chance of employment by 40-60%! So I did my research this time and chose Taylor made for a refresher course to lift the manual restriction. Best choice ever, this school is top notch! It's almost a 2 hour drive, but with it. They have worked with my schedule and fit me in the best they could. There's 3 students per one instructor, at least eight instructors, and multiple trucks. The instructors are with you every step of the way giving feed back and trying to give you multiple options to perfect your driving skills! They are worth every penny from the owner, office staff, and instructors! Top notch!! I approve and suggest you give Taylor Made a chance. Do you research, you'll agree also! Good luck too everyone on your journey!

With a rag-tag group of truckers leading the way, they bring a level of experience & professionalism that is unparalleled in the industry. From the office staff...to the instructors, their focus on safety and the rules of the road is superior and are alway there to guide you at every step on your path toward your CDL. Jeanie in the office will help you with all of your paperwork and answer any questions you might have. While instructors, like Tracey and Tina, will work to drive in those critical fundamentals needed to obtain your CDL. Between Glen, James, and Dean...your path to your CDL is solidly fortified in this well structured curriculum dedicated toward your success as a future professional truck driver/operator. But enough about the fabulous team of professionals striving to see YOU succeed...the hands-on onsite training is all conducted at a facility offering all the required essentials needed for you to learn, practice, and develop a full set of skills applicable to any situation you will face out on the road...and I assure you, you will know when & where to do what when it is needed! But again....it is not all perfect here. There were a couple of things that I felt could be done "better"... I felt that the team should have started with a general introduction to "what is a combination commercial vehicle". The first week is all focused on the rules of the road and to fulfill those requirements...and yet many of us had never set foot in an 18 wheeler. To the Team: I suggest to take 30 minutes before you begin to drive the required information into our heads, that you take the time to point out exactly what we are to be talking about later so that we have a better understanding as we move forward. Secondly, Maintenance & Consistency needs to be a focus... especially when we are talking "safety". The vehicles offered were for the most part..."older", and not in the best conditions. They were all safe to operate, but one could tell they were slowly "falling apart". Proper Maintenance needs to be a focus here...as it can lead to feelings of uncertainty...especially for new operators of such large rigs. I get it! New students can be hard on equipment...but even more of a reason to focus on those ever critical Maintenance efforts. And then comes Consistency... The motor pool consists of a small fleet of vehicles stemming from a diverse array of manufacturers...and none of them are consistent. Not even the two slated test trucks are identical. We are being taught about gauges and instruments we are to focus on or activate...and yet, no two vehicles are even the same. As a matter of fact...they are at times, extremely different! They all have SOMEWHERE what you need...but you spend much of your time orienting yourself on the "differences" rather than focused on the tasks to be performed. My tip here would be to look for more identical older fleet vehicles offering more consistency across the school. Other than that...I cannot say enough good things about the school itself. Professional, courteous, understanding...and all this being taught across a vast array of diverse vehicles giving you a solid foundation of "real life" training to prepare you for a future of opportunities to come! Experiencia fantástica: I just graduated from this school today 3/9/24 I feel totally confident that I can be a safe driver because of the instructions I received from the instructors. Tina was the best at pre trip and backing. James, Tracy, Dave and Jeff are outstanding drivers and instructors and they make your time there fun. They're all fun and patient and take pride in teaching you the proper way to drive. I'm glad I attended this school. The office staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable as is the instructors. If you're having issues understanding they find ways to help you understand.

Experiencia fantástica: A school that actually teaches you to drive! I did the 4 week weekday program and had a blast. You get instructors for pretrip, backing and driving. They are dedicated to your success and will help you out if you don't pass the first time which happened to me. Jeff is awesome, Mark is funny as hell and Mo teaches pre trip very well. I would recommend this school to anyone.

Experiencia fantástica: This school got me my CDL-A license, it’s honestly a really good school with staff that actually cares about teaching you how to drive a semi truck and be safe. Everyone had tips and tricks on improving your skills as you progress. Wouldn’t even think of going to another school after I had the pleasure of working with everyone and how much I improved from day one. Ps, I was pretty terrible my first day and yet I still passed.

Experiencia positiva: The instructors are incredible, they put all their effort into teaching us, they were very patient and kind, except Tina is a very rude and racist person, if you don't speak perfect English and you don't mention the words well, she will tell you to learn English first because this is the United States. United... he shouts at you and treats you very badly... There's nothing professional about him, people like that shouldn't be teaching, instead of helping he makes you feel like you're worthless... he even dared to say that he doesn't know why I'm there, Yes, I'm not going to pass the test... but the other instructors are very good and patient.

The equipment needs some extreme work done. Other then that it’s an amazing school at a decent price and will send my son through them if they are still around when he’s at the age. Experiencia fantástica: Taylor Made TDS is an amazing school that just recently reopened under a new name (previously known as Taylor Driving School). I upgraded my class B CDL to a class A (one of the only schools in the area that offers this option in a timely manner) and also learned how to drive a manual truck having no prior manual skills or knowledge. Melissa is an amazing pre-trip instructor, and Glen is an outstanding instructor. They helped make this complicated process seem so simple and easy in a timely and efficient manner.
