New Life Driving School

Experiencia negativa: My experience with New Life Driving School was horrible and traumatizing. This was back in 2019 when I initially learned how to drive. My parents paid for the premium package, in hopes that I would be able to find some confidence over the wheel. I don't think there's anything like the instructor, Manny. Like others, Manny was rude, short tempered, irksome, and genuinely not the best driving instructor. He kept teasing me, and lost his fuse immediately when I couldn't manage to do his way of "hand over hand" or 9 and 3. He was so angry with me, oftentimes with no clear reason but simply out of complete frustration, and managed to give me a bruise on my thumb when he shut the door on me. My thumb thankfully healed. I came home in tears. My parents did try and speak to the owner, Paul, to at least tell Manny to be more calmer and reasonable with his teaching. He continued to be rude, but it also appeared that his attitude was mainly caused by the stress of being a driving instructor. I suppose this wasn't the driving school for 16 year old me. I don't recommend this driving school, or at least Manny, and its services.

Experiencia positiva: The Driving school is great for lessons - Al was amazing for my son - BUT like many others are saying unfortunately Al wasnt available for Road test and we had Manny - My son went to ask him last minute question about parallel parking right before the road test and Manny's response..."I'll let you figure that out" and got out of the car...WTH?? Thats what you tell a nervous 17 year old about to take the test? This is your job - very disappointed. but easiest $250 Manny made

Experiencia fantástica: While taking driving lessons, my daughter felt terrified of the instructor, Dave. He made her turn off her phone, yelled at her loudly, creating a sense of fear, and even shoved her shoulder. After two hours of class, she came home in tears.

Experiencia fantástica: Our experience with New Life was excellent. My son had his lesson and driving test taken with New Life 2 years ago and recently with my daughter as well. I can’t remember the instructor my son had(I wish I did), but my son really enjoyed his lessons with him. He was so patient with him. Recently my daughter had Jon and she said he was very patient and good instructor as well. For my daughter’s test day, Manny took my daughter to her test and she felt confident with him going over her questions. She passed without any issues. Last but not least, Dolores was so nice and very informative. She and New Life went out the way to help my daughter when there was a slight issue. I highly recommend New Life! They are reliable and very friendly.

Experiencia fantástica: I passed my road test on my second try thanks to chris and susana .Chris picked the perfect instructor when I explain my anxiety situation and having bad experience with prrevious driving school .Susana is the best driving instructor you can ask for also very professional especially if you are having anxiety issue like me .I will be always grateful for her because I woke up this morning with my heart racing and all stress that I will fail again but with her amazing comforting attitude and professional techniques I passed my test .Please do not go anywhere and ask for Susana especially if you are nervous about your test she is amazing ❤️

Experiencia negativa: I would leave a negative if I could. Adding to this my son has learning needs. the absolute worse trainer showed up at my doorstep this AM insulting me and making my already anxious son more anxious. insisted my son wear a mask. no problem refused to take him to practice nor do the test with him scheduled at 830 this am due to a miscommunication on their part. i tried to negotiate with him to still take him etc and i would fix the error by the time of his road test and he refused said i ruined his day and he now out of principal wouldn't take the money. asked him to do the refresher and i would take my son and he refused. i used them before for my older son about 1 year ago with no problem but today, today i would stay far far away from them. told him i had cancer and told me he didn't really care. made us all nervous and my son wound up having the wrong card instead of his permit paper and left my son standing in the dark locked out of our house. shameful seriously shameful.

Experiencia negativa: They do not have enough instructors so it takes forever to get scheduled for the lessons. You pay up front but it could take 3 to 4 weeks from when you pay to start the lessons and they can't even tell you when you will be put on the schedule. Its very frustrating to deal with them.

Experiencia negativa: I had my granddaughter there for 6 lessons. after the 6 lessons they told me she should have a extra lesson. After all these lessons she still can't pull into a parking space or parallel park. I had to sign her up in another school so she can take her driver's license test. She does great in a straight line but nothing else.I am very disappointed and unhappy with this school.

Experiencia negativa: I really want to rate high because my 6 hours with instructor Al was great. He was patient and taught me in a calm and respectful manner. Unfortunately he couldn't take me to my road test and I got a different guy called Manny. He was short-termpered, rude and he would flick my hand off the wheel if I didn't follow his exact directions to a tee. I had learned an easy way to parallel park from Al (again great instructor) and Manny would get so mad if I didn't follow his unnecessarily complicated instruction. It was totally unnecessary for him to touch me and raise his voice. If I wanted to be treated that way I would have just done my road test with my dad. My dad may have been just as stressed as me but he would never flick my hand off the steering wheel.

Experiencia fantástica: They were fantastic! My niece went to a prior driving school and did not pass parallel parking, twice. They were excellent with her and taught her skills she did not learn from the other school. BTW...my niece has a learning disability, great with handling her. I recommend to all!

Experiencia negativa: Horrible and dangerous. After speaking with the manager of this operation, they listed all the items needed for my daughter to take her drivers test. They charged 115 dollars to take her to Lodi and a refresher session ... And then they left my daughter stranded in Lodi. They actually left a 17 year old minor to fend for herself. DONT use this service.
