I left myself an out, had a space cushion, and was able to navigate to the shoulder with zero fatalities, zero injuries, and zero other vehicle collisions. Do this training, it'll save your life!

All the people who works there are friendly, patient and professional. My instructor Brad very knowledgeable, modest and helpful. Experiencia negativa: Deceptive banner on the Smith home page indicates they are hiring instructors when in fact they are NOT! I suspect they have this continual 'recruitment' link to glean and sell a potential applicant's personal information with no intention of providing work for anyone!

Experiencia fantástica: I took the Smith System Driver Trainer course in 2017. It has helped all of my drivers avoid collisions and reduce the number of instances. I got recertified in 2019 and in 2021. All of my drivers trainer employees have been great. They make the course easy to understand and answer all questions. I will be back in 2023.

Experiencia positiva: I experienced the Smith System Driver Training while working at Hawaiian Electric. I found it to be very informative although I thought the information was transferred to us a little too quickly. The trainer was very personable, adding a little humor at times, but he was very knowledgeable as the subject matter expert. I thought the video was very effective in demonstrating appropriate driving tips, and the driving instructor paused it at appropriate times to discuss. I do think though that the video was a little too lengthy for one sitting and would have been more receptive if it was broken into shorter segments. The practice that followed on the road, I thought, was important for application purposes but I found it difficult to sometimes remember what the video taught us because I was focused on my driving. Nonetheless, the repetitiveness of the instructor guiding each driver helped with retention. It was a good training program overall. Thank you for sending us a great instructor!

Experiencia fantástica: I believe in this system as i have avoided multiple accidents 6 months after first learning this way of defensive driving. I recomend that all heavy truck operators use and be taught. Infact it should be a requirement for all that drive before getting a drivers license. Its a positive and powerful driving habit to have. All accidents and deaths would drop alot when all drivers stay off there cell phones stop eating behind the wheel and whatever else is a distraction to keep ones eyes off the road. This is only my opinion.
