I considered doing the entire prep work with my son through online and as the instructor… but came to my senses! Highly recommend sending your 15 year old through Tye’s program.

Your teen can even take his/her test with them, and they give you tips on how you schedule an appt. at DPS quickly for your paperwork. Highly recommend!

I'm very thankful for all the help given, both in the lessons preparing me for my permit and my license. They are by far the best option in the area and Tye is a remarkable instructor. I cannot recommend Tye's enough to anyone looking.

Experiencia fantástica: They have been absolutely wonderful all the way from the beginning of driving school to actually being able to take the license test with them. They were extremely accommodating with scheduling, always so polite, and most importantly, left my son with the skills and knowledge to drive successfully.

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone at Tye's is extremely friendly, helpful and professional. Tye and Jane Alice go above and beyond to help you with what is needed. Two of my teenage daughters took the classroom, driving and testing with Tye and were extremely pleased with everything.

Experiencia negativa: Signed my son up because of the convenient New Braunfels location. That turned out to be a mistake. Written part of the course was online and that went smoothly enough. Took two tries to actually receive the cert and test results so my son could go to DPS for his permit. Got the permit, scheduled the driving lessons, showed up, he wasn't on the schedule. Went round and round got it set then got an email that the New Braunfels location was shutting down and I'd have to take my son to Boerne for the remainder of the course or I could have a partial refund. I'll drive him to Boerne and pray that the people in Boerne are more prepared for conducting a drivers education course. I am glad that the couple here in New Braunfels realized that they were not meant to run this type of a business.

Experiencia negativa: No good. Communication is very poor, worst ever experienced (more so from Lauren when it came to scheduling for the NB driving location) The envelope that included the driving scores to turn into DPS in order for my child to receive his license must not be opened and that is per DPS however Coach Moore enclosed his driving log(the 30hrs to be done at home) as well as the checklist inside the envelope. Had we opened the envelope to retrieve those items before arriving to DPS, it would not have been accepted. Luckily we knew better. This is also the only driving school I have come across that the driving test itself was not included without an additional $100 so my child will be completing driving test at the DPS. Deff not worth the money dealing with this place.

Experiencia fantástica: We are staying here from out of town and scheduled my son’s driving test. As hard as I tried to be prepared, of course I had the wrong form. Tye and his wife worked so hard for over an hour to help me get the correct paperwork and to make sure my son could get his driving test in on his birthday. You just don’t meet nice, caring people like that anymore and I am blown away by their kind and generous nature! I highly recommend them!

Experiencia fantástica: Tye's Driving School came very highly recommended to our family and we are pleased to pass on our own five-star recommendation! A strong foundational learning and exceptional driving class experience was provided to our child. Our next child will be permit eligible before long and will promptly be enrolled at Tye's. From a supporting small business perspective, it was an absolute pleasure to do business with these folks. The owners are professional, kind and so very helpful. The pricing is reasonable, the scheduling is great. Again, highest recommendations all around!
