Thanks to his guidance, I passed my behind-the-wheel test on the first try and now feel confident behind the wheel. His encouraging attitude made a big difference. He’s truly an excellent instructor.

Experiencia fantástica: I took classes with Leonard 5 years ago in 2020 at 17 and I still think about how helpful he has been with my capability to drive. Leonard is a fantastic teacher and a lot of the things he's taught me has stuck with me and is embedded in my head while driving haha. I seriously cannot recommend this school enough, I mean here I am writing a review 5 years later! This is how impactful the lessons have been to me. After driving with others who haven't taken driving school courses you can truly see the difference in those who have and those who haven't. Leonard teaches so many valuable lessons so for those of you who are on the fence about choosing this school, as a former student myself I say this is your best choice 100%! Experiencia fantástica: What can I say...I love me some Mrs. Connie! From the first time I spoke to her, you get nothing but a wholesome personality. She helped my daughter, son, niece and nephew to obtain their license. Currently, she's assisted me with my neighbor's kids as well with my youngest son. If you get lucky, her husband Mr Leonard will teach your child "behind the wheel". He has an immaculate record. Every child I have referred has obtained their driver's license. Just get ready as a parent for your insurance to go up, because like I said, Mr Leonard as an impeccable record and each child he teaches will pass and need to be added to their parent's insurance policy. I truly feel blessed to have them in my corner and appreciate everything they have done for me❤️

Experiencia fantástica: I had a special situation. I’m a 30 year old NYC native with very limited driving experience if any. I had a bad accident when I was in my early 20s that really cemented my fear and I was set on never driving. Then we moved to Southern California. I knew I had to learn how to drive in order to better my quality of life here. Leonard and Connie were kind, funny, and informative. Leonard had me quickly feeling comfortable behind the wheel after only my first lesson. I passed my driving test after 3, 2-hour lessons and practicing what Leonard taught me with my husband. 0 mistakes! I would recommend these private lessons to anyone with driving anxiety and fear.

Experiencia fantástica: I wanted to take some time to give a shout out to affordable driving school Connie is so amazing she helped scheduled driving hours and helped to prepare for DMV driving test and written test. Her knowledge is helpful and I appreciat that she went above and beyond. Now the driving teachers Leonard and Isaiah are GREAT instructors. I appreciate their time their knowledge and their patience! they are very helpful and I’m so glad that I learn to drive from affordable driving if you are looking for a driving school and Instructors definitely call Connie you will not be disappointed!

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing driving school for kids! My 16 year old was lucky enough to have Leonard teach him how to drive. On top of that Connie gave us the scoop on how to prep and register for the driving test. She had me in tears with her jokes so I honestly dont know how you could do better. My son said, quote "Leonard has to be the coolest and best driving instructor in San Diego". Looking forward to having his little brother learn from them as well. Thank you!!

Experiencia negativa: The only thing that went smoothly was them taking the $35 fee. I have been calling and emailing for a month to get basic question answered with no response except for a single text apologizing for a missed call, but they didn’t call me back?? I finished the online course, but no certification has been mailed after a week and a half of completion. I went to the office which says “open” online but has a sign on the door which states “office hour by appointment only.” I’m beyond frustrated, at this point I just want a refund.

Experiencia fantástica: I spoke with Connie on 10/30/20. She was down to earth and professional. Connie answerd all of my questions (I had a lot) and really knows the ins and outs of the business. I am buying lessons as a Christmas gift for an adult that is not related to me and lives 10 hours away. Connie gave me all of the details and added very valuable advice. I'm excited about using this school. I'll update this review to include the driving portion once it begins. Not going to lie, the whole reason I chose this school is because of my phone call with Connie.

Experiencia negativa: First of all It took the lady in the phone multiple calls to answer me, I left am voice mail but no one return my calls and I had no call till they answer. the first lesson with lenord was fine although he talks too much which distracted the Person how is just learning. In the second lesson he wasted half an hour of my time just talking instead I should be driving in the road instead of listening to his story. In the third lessons which was the worst, I might be little nervous but that's OK since my driving test is soon and I am here to learn. He start yelling and scamming at me, which made me nervous even more. I couldn't drive well and I couldn't wait to the lesson to finish. It was a nightmare. I don't know how my friend recommended him. No wonder that she needed more then 3 lessons. Mybe this was his intentions after all. Don't pay for your kids to be yelled at.

Experiencia fantástica: Got me my drivers license! The lady at the phone (Connie) was always so polite and friendy. Leonard was my instructor. When the reviews said he was passionate, well let me tell you, he is very! He is awesome and cool. He teaches you how to drive properly and with confidence. He tells you stories while you're driving trying to remove that fear. Trying to calm you down, which is a big deal in taking the test. They were all very helpful. I would definitely recommend this school to everyone!

Experiencia fantástica: This was the first driving school I called. After talking with Connie, I decided I didn't need to shop around, because I liked her so much. I got lucky and found this place first. My son came home after his first session and said "I love that guy!", talking about Leonard. My son is super confident to drive now.
