Experiencia negativa: I would not recommend this driving school to anyone. PLEASE STAY AWAY!! I tried contacting them about a concern I had, before signing up and they didn’t answer any of my 3 emails. After calling and finally getting someone to answer, they said they can’t accommodate me. They had no problem taking my money before telling me that though. Even worse, her driving instructor, Wendy, is having her break laws on her drives. She had them roll all the windows down on her drive, which is a huge distraction while learning how to drive. She then made my sister skip her observation time, which is going to be a huge inconvenience to make up for. Overall horrible experience with this school. Please go somewhere else.

Experiencia negativa: ***SAVE YOUR MONEY*** I wish I would have read the reviews prior to using this place. I have found similar issues that everyone else has made grievances about. *Literally hours before, the driver sends a TEXT to my daughter requesting her to reschedule later. The company doesn’t notify us their employee / the instructor is ill, we receive a text from her requesting to reschedule, and THEN! A NO-CALL, NO SHOW, NOT EVEN A TEXT! to cancel, once we show up for our appointment. Emailed the place, no response. *Next appt scheduled with the same employee, an hour before arrival time, she sends a text and calls me, to reschedule my daughter’s next class. *The “classroom” teacher, is beyond rude to the students. Students need to have drives completed before they test, and make no exception if drives are not completed by test time. Yet, the instructor keeps cancelling and there are no back ups for the instructors..?? *I’ve emailed, at least twice, with no responses. I don’t understand how this place is in business after speaking with other parents and reading these reviews. Now to see that we have to wait on these guys to submit test results AND they offer a segment 2!?! Save your money. Pay a little extra for a better class. Completely disappointed considering the cost of this class PER STUDENT! This instructors cancellations, and company failure to have replacement drivers, may result in my child having to repeat the class, and having to pay for an additional class in order for her to have her driving instruction, has me BEYOND frustrated.

Experiencia negativa: Driver’s Ed is largely compliance and administration. Show up to class, do the drive, take the test, log the results. The state requires that the students are fully compliant, but Official Driving School is not good at the administration. Their systems are difficult – you can only schedule 3 drives at a time, if you are lucky enough to schedule them at all,as there are few available drives. This can be understandable during the peak season, but you cannot expand your search for drives outside of your “home” location. And there are requirements around by WHEN you must finish those drives, and HOW MANY drives are required to take the written test. Some of which is mandated by the state, but they should be prepared for the volume to accommodate it. Our particular gripe come from the fact that we busted our butts and reshuffled our work schedules to get the three drives in in order to take the written test on schedule, as planned, by driving to other class locations and dealing with early morning commutes, of which one drive was cancelled in the middle of the night. But the test wasn’t graded in the classroom, so we don’t know if our student passed, or if we need to re-take the test. That was nine days ago. We’ve called many times, and have been told at least three times that “the compliance team will have it in by the end of the day.” But it is still not there. Simple administrative procedures for a course that ended over a week ago, that are causing extreme angst for us as customers. To be clear, every time we’ve called, the Official agents have been helpful and respectful, and the in car instructors who haven’t cancelled on us have been polite and present. But something is clearly broken on the back end if it takes this much effort to get the credit for the work the students have done.

Experiencia negativa: The State of Michigan should shut down this school IMMEDIATELY. My son took Segment 2 test and waited for the certificate. It's been over a week and he still has not received it. I called customer service and they told me he was absent. This is ABSURD. They took our money. DO NOT USE THIS SCHOOL.

Experiencia negativa: We live in the West Bloomfield and my daughter is trying to get her Seg 1 training done. Dealing with this company was extremity disappointing. We definitely do NOT recommend this service.

Experiencia fantástica: I had Ms.Tulip as a teacher for a my drivers ed training and I feel like she did a really good job teaching me and the class. I feel like she taught well and I feel pretty prepared for my test.

Experiencia negativa: Such a bad place to get your license from, they make it very hard to schedule drives during segment 1 and then they wouldn't send me my certification afterwards. I definitely do not recommend courtesy, take your kid to All Star instead. Its worth the slight upcharge by far.

Zahra was struggling with some concepts for her upcoming driver's test and Ms. Tulip stayed after class on the zoom with Zahra explaining everything in thorough detail with extreme patience.
