Experiencia fantástica: Marda is very knowledgeable and made my experience very enjoyable. The curriculum was very straightforward and easy to follow along. I would recommend Automotive academy for New York to anyone.

Experiencia negativa: My experience taking driving classes here wasn’t what I was expecting at all. Back in the spring of 2018, I took like 10 classes with Marda but I failed my road test in July of that same year and got 85 points on it. This comes to show that all of the other reviews about the students passing their road test on the first try are NOT true. Also, Marda taught me the basics of driving and more but she wasn’t too patient during her lessons and got frustrated at times whenever I would commit a driving error behind the wheel. Her very old car didn’t have any air conditioning at all during that summer when I was taking those classes, which obviously made the experience worse and more stressful. I had to switch to another driving school to pass my next road test. And this is why I wouldn’t really recommend this school. If you live in Queens, please consider taking classes at No. 1 Driving School instead. It’s better and even cheaper.

I expressed to Marda that I’d like to “fast track” my license but I have no driving experience, that was in the middle of August, and as of today (November 4th) I am a licensed driver! I am extremely happy with my experience and I thank her for her patience! She complimented me when I earned it and was honest and provided me with areas of opportunity when I needed it. I took the 10 class package and one extra just to be sure and confident in myself, it was definitely worth every penny! I would definitely recommend!

Cost of car ownership for new drivers in long island is around $600 a month, less than the cost of a package. Accidents on average are $5000 but could cost a lot more. Any skill or driving tips that you learn will be good for both your wallet and your health. And you can learn those skills by delaying your car ownership by one month. Marda is a highly effective instructor. By the fourth lesson, she was asking if I was ready to take the road test. We scheduled it immediately, for the earliest possible time, which was 2 weeks out. By the end of the 5th week since I contacted her, I had passed the road test. She is prompt with the lesson times. Her knowledge of the road makes you wonder if she is actually a traffic lawyer. I highly recommend this business.

Experiencia fantástica: As a 1st driver of a certain age, Marda put me at ease with every lesson; the price was very reasonable and even cheaper than other places I looked at; Marda was very accommodating with my lesson dates/time. Her patience and textbook knowledge of the New York State Driving manual are unparalleled. I was fortunate to have attended the New Driver start up course at York College's Adult Continuing Education Division. The course was taught by Marda! I was impressed in that she was not only a skilled driving instuctor, but a great collegiate instructor as well.This course was extremely beneficial and tremendously increased my knowledge base confidence level, and driving ability. The course included two driving lessons, five hour class certification, and course materials to assist new drivers in understanding the mechanics and driving safety laws relative to driving in New York State. I have had past prior experiences with four driving schools and failed my road test three times! I passed last week with Marda's assistance and expertise. She would literally get out of the car to drive and demonstrate for me the errors I made during my many attempts with parallel parking. I was able to successfully demonstrate parallel parking on my road test without error. All praises to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for directing my paths to Marda and the Automotive Academy Driving School. I recommend this school without reservation. I will continue to take lessons with Marda as I am now saving money to purchase a vehicle. I want to ensure that my driving skills continue to improve as I have now transitioned from student driver to a newly licensed New York State Driver!! Thank you Jesus!!!
