Driver Training Services - now a part of Coastline Academy

Experiencia fantástica: My son had a superb experience receiving drivers training through this Company over the past four months. He recently took his drivers test through them as well and passed without a problem. Sandy was his final driver instructor prior to his test and was a total professional! She is patient with the students, competent in her knowledge and a pleasure to work with. Craig, the drivers exam administrator, was outstanding in his evaluation of my son's driving abilities. Many thanks to both Sandy and Craig for all they do putting new safe drivers on our roads!

Experiencia fantástica: My experience with them was awesome! Sandy is hands down the best instructor you'll get. She doesn't just prepare you for the test, she makes sure you're good beyond that for when you actually drive. I only had the chance to practice and drive during lessons and in spite of this, I cleared my road test on the very first attempt with 0 points. Thank You Sandy!!

Experiencia fantástica: My experience was pretty good. I think the main reason it was a good experience is because the driver that I selected for all of my son's lessons was a totally awesome person. I selected Gary R. I could not have picked a better person!! Gary R. was so nice, so laid back and my son says a super great instructor and made him feel comfortable and at ease from the start. Each lesson was better and better. After the very last lesson Gary and my son were totally prepared to finally take the road test. The company and Gary R. provided an excellent experience for my son. I was extremely happy with the final outcome!! Request Gary!!!

Experiencia negativa: I came in today to take my test, and when my mom and I walked in there was one woman sitting there saying that they weren’t a testing school. We got a confirmation text saying to meet Paula at their exact address and we arrived ten minutes earlier. Sandy the woman in the store (mind you the only one in the store) called the front desk lady I’m assuming her name was Danny/Dani/something along those lines and had to look up our last name. What’s important to this story is my mom called two weeks before to make sure that I would be taking the test at DTS and she was reassured everything was good and set, but when we came in she said it must have “fallen through the cracks to tell us that they aren’t testing. It’s was a confusing 20 minutes for everyone. I’m just so disappointed because I’ve been practicing and my parents paid good money for people to schedule it for me and they get screwed. I loved my instructor Larry, but right now everything is too messy and not fair to everyone who wants their liscense and now I have to wait days to reschedule it because it takes two days to be put on the schedule and then I’m going to be out of the country so this whole situation is so unfair I wouldn’t recommend if you want to get your liscense ON TIME!! But thank you to sandy for professionals dealing with the problem while you had a lesson and Larry for training me. Wouldn’t recommend and I’m just disappointed that I can’t get it after waiting for so long.

Experiencia fantástica: My son took the test and passed thanks to Joe! He was an amazing instructor and I would give him more stars if I could - he was not only patient but a really good teacher. Also, the testing person asked who his instructor was and said that he did a very good job with him. The only issue we had was we weren’t able to schedule a test through them because they were purchased by Coastline and weren’t able to do it for some reason. However, they refunded us quickly. We were able to get a test another way.

Experiencia fantástica: LARRY AND PAULA YOUR THE BEST!! Larry is an amazing driver instructor. He took me in with no driver knowledge and after 3 weeks of training and practice he whipped me in to a safe driver!! He gave me SO many tips and tricks to learn how to be a safe defensive driver! Paula is such a sweet and comforting instructor. When in it came to me taking the drivers test she made the test feel very comfortable and helped my confidence! I PASSED THANK TO BOTH OF YOU. All love goes to this place! 10/10 would recommend!!

Experiencia fantástica: Recently took and passed my drivers test!! Instructor was Michael and was very kind! I am happy to of paid to take my test here rather than be more nervous about going to the DMV.

Experiencia negativa: Bad service. They told me to show up 15 minutes before my test but I was waiting there for 20 while my tester was giving a lesson. Then, when he got back he couldn’t even login to his own account so I had to take my test with someone else. Overall bad experience, wouldn’t recommend.

Experiencia negativa: Honestly, I don't see how a business that trains you on how to drive can be objective enough on how well they trained you to pass you for your drivers license better than Penn DOT. The person that I know that went here still can't drive on their own, by themselves, and I wouldn't trust them to take my car across the street. And when I ride with them it's scarier than HELL. If this place hasn't put someone on the road already and they've hurt someone, it's only a matter of time. Wow!!

Experiencia fantástica: I cannot thank the staff enough for the wonderful experience I had here! I talked to Rachel on the phone who was very helpful about getting me the right services I needed, helping me schedule an appointment as well as taking down my information and guiding me through the process. Rich was my instructor. He has a very calm demeanor and he addressed my concerns about being nervous. Rich carefully walked me through the process and told me there was no rush to finish the test as fast as possible but to take my time. He made me feel comfortable. I appreciate his kindness and the kindness of the staff at this facility. I had a few bad experiences with state testing centers, so I cannot recommend this place enough. It was really like night and day.

Experiencia fantástica: Boy was I a nervous wreck before learning amazing tips and tricks from Paula! I told her my biggest concerns about driving, and boom within a few attempts it was resolved. No matter where you are in your driving journey, DTS is there to help you! Plus, they have friendly staff :) Thanks again Paula and DTS for helping me receive my driver’s license

Our behind the wheel instructor, Jeff, was very patient and did a great job with teaching and test prep, and Bill, who conducted my daughter's test, was very kind and helpful in diffusing nerves before hand. The ladies in the office were very helpful, even when we needed to reschedule the test, they were able to get us a new date quickly. Communication was excellent. I would highly recommend DTS.

Experiencia fantástica: Sent both my children here for driving services and Jim was excellent. My daughter had her exam scheduled a few days after quarantine which had to be canceled but I received a follow up call to reschedule for when the quarantine was lifted. Great communication!

Experiencia fantástica: My son received his drivers license today thanks to the careful and thorough instruction of his instructor Sandy. She was kind, patient and most of all always honest and helpful with her critique of his driving. Very happy with our experience here and would definitely recommend them if you have a teenager behind the wheel. My 16 year old daughter will be going there next!

Experiencia fantástica: Had the privilege of taking my Cdl exam with the owner. Very professional and patient in my own opinion. Alerted me of mistakes that i had no idea i made which help me improve.

Experiencia negativa: This place is horrible! I took my son here for a driver’s test and they berated him during the test, and again afterwards. Not even to mention the fact that his tester (the owner) wrote everything he supposedly did wrong (all very picky stuff) on the back of his ACTUAL driver’s permit. I would not recommend this place to ANYONE who has not taken their driver’s course, as I’m sure that’s the reason that he was failed so harshly.

Experiencia fantástica: My teenage daughter recently had driving lessons with Bill Krzemien with Driver Training Services. Bill was wonderful and very patient with my daughter. She did very well with the parallel parking. With each lesson her confidence grew. The whole team at Driver Training Services are so wonderful also! I highly recommend this service to anyone who is learning to drive!

Experiencia fantástica: I had a great experience with AAA Driving Trainer Services. My instructor was efficient and arrived very early before each lesson. In the beginning I had difficulty in parallel parking, but by the end of the course I felt a lot more comfortable doing so. All staff were friendly and professional and I would recommend to anyone.
