Experiencia negativa: Don't go here. My driving instructor wasn't helpful he was snapping at me like im a dog and just genually not helpful . I never driven before but if you have this problem for you . I was panicking / extremly nervous and he kept on going snapping his fingers near me and complaing about having to teach begginers bro its your job -

Experiencia fantástica: My daughter learned to drive with them. We had a great experience. We had the same teacher for all the driving sessions, Cody, who was great. They are located far from us, but they have a meeting close to where we are, which was super convenient.

Experiencia fantástica: From the very first email correspondence to the last handshake, our experience was nothing short of excellent. We can rest easier knowing we did everything we could to prepare our teen for driving. These teachers really care about the safety of each driver and were very good at putting nerves at ease. We can only control so much when we get out on the road, but we feel more confident knowing he has had good training outside of our own. We highly recommend this driving school! Shout out to Helen! We thank you for your advice and hard work!

Experiencia fantástica: Can't say enough about aLord Ashley Driving School. Jim did a tremendous job with daughter, who is special needs. He was able to work around her schedule and was able to relate to her in a way to become a better driver and able to pass the road test. He was extremely patient. aLord Ashley was the third driving school we used, but was by far the best. Wouldn't use anyone else.

I was specifically looking for a driving school that would teach my youngest daughter from scratch (with limited driving experience) & help build her confidence (as she was very nervous). Her instructor (Cody) quickly put her at ease, started with the basics & progressed from there. I was very impressed how quickly her driving skills & confidence improved. We chose to purchase an extra lesson (after completing the beginners package) to focus purely on test prep & she passed first time (within 3 months of purchasing the package). Lessons were super easy to schedule & location was convenient. I have already recommended aLord to several friends. Thank you!

He helped me adjust to driving on the right side of the road which I found challenging at first (as I moved here from overseas). I didn’t expect to be so efficient in driving after such a shot period of time. Dennis is an absolute pro in his field and you can tell he really enjoys his job. Experiencia fantástica: Amazing instructors kind of owners understanding of financial hardships they pick your kids up and drop them off 0 safety and backgrounds are held to the highest regard but never use anyone else again for all three of my daughters

Experiencia fantástica: As part of my job, I interact with a lot of drivers assessing their skills and ability to continue to drive. So as my own child turned 15, professional drivers education was a top priority. I wanted a company that would teach life long driving skills (the key to avoiding crashes) and really work with my teenager to understand the mechanics of driving - not just getting from place to place. My teenager is also very anxious and needs a gentle, understanding approach. aLord Ashley provided all of this and more. There are not many places equipped to truly handle anxiety and all the issues that surround it - aLord Ashley did it with grace and more importantly without shame. My teen still talks about things they learned in class and how it relates to driving. After 1 driving lesson, I saw a remarkable improvement in my teens confidence in handling the vehicle. With each additional lesson, my teen was supported through their anxious feelings and even a few meltdowns with tears. My teenager was coached on techniques that become good driving behaviors and will truly serve them for the rest of their life. To be quite honest, my personal driving has also improved by incorporating the techniques taught to my teen. I can't recommend aLord Ashley enough for the new confidence I see and the solid skills base that has been developed through these driving lessons.

Experiencia negativa: Charge you for driving test but won't let you take one without buying more lessons waste of money go somewhere else

Experiencia negativa: As of August 2nd, 2022, I drove to the physical location to inquire about courses for a relative. I arrived and saw a paper sign posted stating walk in were welcome until 1pm (I arrived at 1pm). No where on their website did they list specifics on their updated hours of walk in and call in only. The manager/owner of the location shoo'd me away stating over and over we're closed while their open sign flashed in my face. The manager/owner then proceeded to tell me to call back after 2pm. This is unfortunate because I was referred to this location by another relative that recommended their courses. I can only hope you treat your future customers with more respect instead of treating them like a nuisance.

Experiencia negativa: My daughter recently took drivers ed through ALord in Goose Creek. At first I was very happy with their program. Until she completed her third(and final) driving lesson and we were informed they would require her a forth lesson in order for her to take the test through them. They said we should have spaced out our three paid lessons so she could have taken one right before the test. Had they suggested that upfront, we would have spaced out the lessons. They said if we didn’t have her pay for another driving lesson through them then she wouldn’t qualify to take the test(which is part of the package I paid for) with them. IMO that is fraudulent to not be upfront about spacing the lessons out and then requiring more money to allow the child to test even though we had already paid for the test.

Experiencia negativa: mark Hennessy is one of the worst person to teach anyone to drive he is not a nice person at all very rude and mean lord Ashley is a very good school to go to for driving classes BUT DONT LET THEM SEND YOU MARK HENNESSY BAD PERSON AND VERY RUDE!!

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent experience for both of my kids! One did in person 8 hour class learning session and the other did it through zoom~ both were very well done! Driving instructors were friendly, patient and knowledgeable and provided great feedback with each driving lesson. Finally, the registration was simple and easy, and they are super easy to speak with and happy to assist via phone at the main office. Excellent choice for driving school!!!

It truly taught me how to be a safe driver and gave me all the confidence i needed in order to be road ready. All the staff and instructors are awesome and amazing at what they do. 10/10 recommend!!

Experiencia fantástica: I am SOOOOOO happy that I decided to ride and learn with aLord Ashley! I was paired with Cody and he always assured me that I was improving and where I could improve a little better. He never yelled and was always patient. I felt safe with him in the car. He walked me through everything and gave me specific steps. He was always encouraging and that really helped level out my anxiety. I passed on the first try and I'm so happy that I did. I finally have my license and I'm ready to get out there. If you are looking for a driving school, go with aLord Ashley. They won't do you wrong. Great communication, great dedication, and encouragement. Braxton was always great with communication and was very helpful. Thankful to you team!

Experiencia fantástica: Our experience with the team at aLord Ashley was excellent. Either my wife or I rode along during each of our daughters sessions. The instruction was very good and the style matched ours very well. They offer practical instruction as well as teaching the skills needed to pass the test. I highly recommend them to parents in the Lowcountry. They exceeded our expectations.

Experiencia negativa: My instructor was always late. I didn't even get the full 2 hours each time I was supposed to be driving and he would always say "I owe you [specific amount of time]" or "we'll make it up before you're done" but that never happened. I had never driven before and I told him that, but I don't think he cared. I think he was more concerned about me not doing something to the car than me actually learning to drive. I really could've been taught a lot more. I think for the price I paid, I could have gotten a lot more out of it. There really wasn't much explaining behind what I needed to do. I just feel like I was not prepared to go out and take my driver's test. On my last BTW lesson, the instructor told me I needed another 2 hour session to work on my parallel parking and to go over the stuff on the driver's test. Usually on your last lesson, you strictly go over everything that is supposed to be on the DMV road test because you would have practiced all of it on the first two lessons. I just wish I would have went to another driving school. I'm still learning how to turn the wheel and park (something you would have expected to learn during the first lesson). I'm practicing on my own with my friends who have their license and then I am going to try another driving school to get more practice by a company who has MANY good reviews. I would suggest searching around and just asking people where they went to take driver's ed, if they did it. I'm 21, so all my friends got theirs in high school. Lol. I could not find any reviews about Lord Ashley [good or bad]. PLEASE look around. I think this price may be one of the cheaper ones out there, but I do not recommend them. I think they need to revaluate how they teach. Mark Hennessy [the instructor i had for my last lesson] was an AMAZING instructor. He made me feel comfortable and relaxed. That is the only plus. If you decide this is the company you want to work with, request Mark. I honestly wish I would have went somewhere else if I knew better. I took my road test and failed because of my tuning and straight line backing. I'm taking lessons with another company and they will be the ones to administer the test for me! I'd feel a lot more comfortable taking the test with people who want me to pass and not people who just want my money!!!!
