Arron was so supportive when times was hard and the training was great. Would definitely recommend if you are serious about the trucking industry

Experiencia fantástica: I wanted to take a few minutes and give a thorough review and walk through of my experience at Roadmaster. TLDR at the bottom. Roadmaster is a 4 week program to get your CDL. From day 1, the recruiter Justin is great about showing and explaining the program, giving a campus tour, getting you pre-hired with a good company, and answering any questions you may have. Week 1 is classroom. The instructor Charlie has a TON of experience and is great at keeping your attention as you navigate the classroom portion of schooling. This is where you're gaining the knowledge required about the trucks and industry to get your permit from the DMV. Some schools require you to get your permit ahead of time and there's no way I could have done it without roadmaster. It's a LOT of information! Roadmaster teaches it in an effective manor and made passing the written tests for my permit easy. Week 2: You've gotten your permit. Great! Now it's time to learn your Pre Trip Inspection. You spend a whole week going over every part of the truck and learning how to ensure both the truck and trailer is safe for you to operate. Jerry is great at helping you to develop a systematic routine, navigating through every part on that truck. Aaron and Greg were great at helping me develop the proper verbiage that's needed when you're testing with an Examiner to get your CDL. It seems like a long week but having that system down helps a TON if you get nervous during your exam. A good Pre Trip inspection will also be the start of every single day of your new career trucking, so learning it at roadmaster helps make every day a little easier. Week 3: Maneuvers. This week you're finally in a truck! This is where you get to practice pulling through, backing through, steering around, and backing around cones! It's awesome to learn how much space these trucks with a 53' trailer need to turn and how the trailer responds after turning the wheel. All of the instructors have a ton of driving experience and are wonderful at getting you to understand the relationship between the tractor and trailer. Special shout out to Jimmy and Emmanuel for their patience and expertise on this. Week 4: Road Drives and final touches! The last week! Roadmaster takes you out on 10 road drives of an hour each. The instructors are in the passenger seat coaching you through navigating turns, intersections, and everything else you need to have the confidence to drive one of these big ol things down the road. After you're finished with road drives you get to mix it all together and ensure you're ready for your Exam to get your CDL. My experience with Roadmaster St Louis was incredibly positive. The instructors genuinely care about you and your new career. I'm SO GLAD i chose roadmaster. I'll always have great memories to look back on. From the Instructors to being Pre Hired with a great company with tuition reimbursement, my transition into the trucking industry was seamless because of Roadmaster and I'm forever grateful. I talked to several different students from other local driving schools while I was waiting to test at the DMV and their experience sounded pretty rough. I'm not sure that either of them passed their Exam that day. Don't waste your time and money with a different school. Seriously. Shout out to Brian the school manager for being flexible and ensuring I had the knowledge and confidence to pass my CDL exam on the first try! If there's any area you feel you need more instruction on, he'll happily pair you with an instructor and get any kinks you may have worked out. I have my CDL and I'm working for a wonderful company and progressing along with my new career all thanks to the wonderful people at Roadmaster. I couldn't possibly thank the guys at roadmaster enough. I genuinely miss being there every day. TLDR; Roadmaster St Louis is by far the best choice in the area to get your CDL. All of the instructors are incredible and have a ton of knowledge to share. The program is designed incredibly efficiently and you have support every step of the way.

Experiencia fantástica: Roadmaster Drivers school is the best, I would recommend you if you want to get your CDL first trial, mostly I thank my friend who introduced me to get my license here especially this location St. Louis. Special thanks to Brian HR for his dedication to getting all the appointments on time, although it took me 2 months to get my CDL because of lack of dates at DMV but now it’s so easy , another one Charlie thank you for all you do in class, and also Emmanuel you make maneuvers easy because you have all the tricks what to look for if you want to be in proper position, Jimmy, Aaron and Jerry, thank you guys I will apply everything you taught me!!

Experiencia fantástica: All the instructors and the school manager are amazing Emanuel,jimmy,Gregg,Aaron,Jerry,Charley and Brian are a fun crowd too have fun with never a dull moment made time fly only thing is they only have automatics and they we’re always straight forward about everything and will train anyone no negative remarks here 10/10 recommend if you want your CDL plus there in the process of getting certified to test there instead of the DMV for your CDL test

Experiencia negativa: Great Instructors but nowhere near enough to get your license in a reasonable time. On the road trucks for road drives was 1 truck and one instructor to do roadskills with. Only had 2 hours drive time in after week 6 in the school. Called corporate several times and was always told they were going to get it done and just couldnt, along with many others. The downtime was rediculous. On the menuverside there was always 7-10 people per truck everyday. Wait ,wait, and waited somemore and they couldnt and wouldnt get my drives in . Forced everyone to cook on the hot asphalt and watch students from 3 classes after you, learn how to park. Totally unprofesional. Total waste of time. Dangerous neighborhood.

They didn’t have many instructors when I first started but the more I progressed through the training the more instructors came along. All of the instructors are very good and can teach you exactly what you need to know to pass your exam test. Overall I can complain and I recommend

When it came down to pre trip or maneuvers they were ready to assist. It was a good decision for me to attend this school or some others. Only gripe I had was just need better trucks on the pad.

They talk you through your mistakes and let you see where the mistake is being made. Every instructor I had was very patient and made me comfortable and not ashamed to make silly mistakes.

Experiencia fantástica: If you want your CDL this is the place to go…the staff is very friendly and helpful…I went through a phase in the middle of school where me and fiancé had a baby boy and I can say Roadmaster had my back and made sure I handled that before I came back and never rushed me not one bit….Kelly is amazing at what she does and has a very big heart and I will forever be thankful for everything she done for me at Roadmaster and Harold and Gordon are very great instructors that I believe are there temporarily but if you catch them while you are there they will definitely show you how to learn everything the most simplest way possible and I will forever be thankful for those guys as well…but if you miss out on them Roadmaster you still will have other great instructors with years of experience…so if you’re looking for a trucking school to go to then this school is the answer…I promise you won’t be disappointed…thanks to them I am now set for life taking care of my family and being a provider with no worries…Thank You For Everything Roadmaster…y’all are literally changing lives everyday one student at a time and that’s

Experiencia positiva: If you want to have a lot of hands on training Roadmaster St. Louis Mo location. Is the one you want to go to. Classes are small and staff is very nice and friendly.

Experiencia negativa: Steadily changing of staff so the training is not consistent, even made a instructor quit because not teaching by dmv standards, no one in their first class passed due to school not being fully ready like other locations So basically first class was a test run. Wasted a good 4 weeks if not longer
