Experiencia positiva: I have used this dealer for years, I work with the parts department mostly and in years past they have been great. I like to employees in the parts department, they are very helpful. Although I have a few thoughts, these days I find that they often aren't stocking what I would consider pretty common parts. I also find that this dealership rarely turns their phone on at opening time. I often find myself calling on and off for 45 minutes after they open only to receive the "Sorry were closed" recording, which is frustrating to say the least.

Experiencia negativa: This dealership does not stand behind its service work. On a cross-country trip, 2 of us came in for oil changes. The service writers were excellent and we were off. I noticed small pools of oil beneath my bike the next few mornings, so a few days stopped at another Harley dealership where they found the oil filter was extremely loose. They were concerned that the threads might be damaged, so they replace the filter and topped off the oil. No leak since. Over the next 3 weeks, I called the dealer, talked to the Service Manager, who told me “I have no proof of your leak”, refused to reimburse me for the work done by the other dealer, and was very curt and argumentative. Not being satisfied, I wrote a letter to the General Manager with both dealership’s work orders. Three weeks later, not having been contacted, wrote a follow-up letter to the General Manager again with the supporting documentation. Still nothing. I called Harley Davidson Customer Care who contacted the dealership. I again talked with the Service Manager who told me the General Manager would call. One week later, nothing. This is not the customer experience I expect from a Harley dealer and I would not recommend using them based on my experience.

Experiencia negativa: On july third 2023. Drove an hour to pick up a small part. I was polite and courteous as I could be. Guy at the parts counter had an attitude and pretty cashier had the same and was too bothered to sell me a hat. Douchbags

Experiencia negativa: I won't bring in a bike for service again. Bike had old gas and was running on 1 cylinder. They misdiagnosed problem as electrical instead of a fuel issue. They changed spark plugs, changed oil, added 3 gallons of gas and changed out a brake light switch. The tech who diagnosed it test drove it and deemed it a suitable repair. It was still running on one cylinder. I had to pay an upcharge from $515 to $699 for diagnosis.

Experiencia fantástica: If you are in the market for a new or used H-D, do yourself a favor and head over to Harley-Davidson of Frederick and ask for Carter. You will save yourself a lot of time, frustration, and money. I recently worked with Carter and the rest of the team and I have to say it was one of the most enjoyable buying experiences I have had to date. What makes these guys different? They truly focus on the customer and what they can do to help them obtain the bike of their dreams. I found that not only is Carter great at what he does, but the senior management team was honest and fair, the parts department has a great team of knowledgeable people that go out of their way to help, same with the service department, and last but not least, the motor clothes and accessories team is top notch. If you are like me and have experienced all the frustration of trying to work with any of the other H-D dealers in the area, do yourself a favor and JUST CALL CARTER!

Their service department was 3 weeks out 3 weeks out... Patrick found a way if fit us into the schedule and get us taken care of and get us on our trip... Very helpful and friendly guy and made the purchasing process very smooth. I would visit this location again just because they were THAT nice, welcoming, and answered all of our questions.

Experiencia negativa: Rode in on my SG as part of a Harley Davidson dealer check in challenge for Ride 365. While I was there wanted to pick up some 120th Anniversary gear and CB mini antenna. Almost 15 minutes and no greeting or can I help you. Walked entire store. Maybe 3 customers. Decided to walk out and heard " can I help you?" Turned around and salesman greeted couple that just walked in. Hummm. Making no assumptions. Took my pictures for the ride challenge and left. No money will be spent there. Ever! If I could go to zero stars I would. Interesting enough customer pulled in parking lot and talked about my bike for several minutes before he went in store. LOL.

I then bought my first bike with Carter, who helped me through the process of holding the bike, and then ensuring the sale. I was able to test drive the bike as well. He said “no I wouldn’t be able to do that” didn’t offer to take down my info, or call me later. Then he hung up on me. They must be doing really well if they are able to treat customers this way. Everything on the showroom floor was prepped and ready to ride. Test drives were encouraged, unlike many other dealerships that only have a few demos and limit test drives for only select customers. I worked with Seaven and would work with him again if I buy another one. The stores is welcoming and the free hotdogs/popcorn on the weekends isn’t too bad either;) A++

So when I walked into the dealership. I was greeted. In all I waited about 10 minutes for Carter to get finished with t the customer he was working with. He showed me the bike explained everything. Took me though the financing and paperwork. Before I knew it I was buying a bike. That's how comfortable and easy he made it. Between Carter and Heather they made the whole ordeal as easy as me buying my last car. I told Cater what I was looking for. When I got there he did not try get me to by a different bike. Heather the financial administrator was very friendly, and her little Pomeranian Zoe was cute as hell. Loved petting her would do business here again Okay! So I came back to the same Harley dealership here in Frederick to buy a tshirt and saw a bike that I absolutely fell in love with. I went back the following day to trade in the Breakout I bought months prior, and get that bike. The staff remembered me, and were super helpful despite how busy the store was at the time. The process was easy, and they even stayed open after closing to accommodate for me. Couldn’t be more appreciative of everyone there. My salesman Carter, and the financial administrator Heather staying late just to take care of me.

Stood there 20 minutes without so much as them even making eye contact. Shouldn’t take 45 minutes to buy a tire with half of that time just being straight up ignored. At least say hi or something.

Experiencia fantástica: Update 5/8: I have purchased a 2020 Electra Glide and a 2022 Low Rider S from them. The experiences were great! And Walter is awesome! I've also taken the Advance Riders Course and signed up for it again to take it with my other bike. They also have done a Stage 2 and Dyno for both my current bikes! I still 100% recommend Harley of Frederick! Purchased a new helmet and jacket today. The Merchandise Specialist was very knowledgeable and helpful! She helped me get into exactly what I need. Also, I will be in their Basic Rider Course next week, the Course Coordinator has been absolutely awesome to work with to get my class scheduled. I am very excited about this course and looking forward to learning even more! I will definitely sign up for all their advanced courses as well. Experiencia fantástica: How the stars aligned at Harley Davidson of Frederick. Went in to look at 2021 forty-eight in red. They only had a white one in the back, Carter my sales associate brought me to the back to take a look at it. This wasn’t quite what I was looking for but when we got to the back BOOM there it was my dream bike that NO ONE had in stock!!! A 2021 Street Bob in Deadwood green that had just arrived not even been thru PDI yet, this was EXACTLY what I was looking for. Carter took great care of me during this process. Onto financing Heather Keene was great walked me thru everything explained it all and stayed late to get the deal taken care of! Part of my deal was that I needed riding class to get my M endorsement. The classes were booked months out but Heather got me into a class that that next day!!! Overall this was an amazing experience and I will be a forever customer!! Riding academy was awesome also, the instructors Daryl and Heather L were amazing can’t say enough good things about them!!

Experiencia fantástica: Where is it I should start... First of Carter Melbourne was my sales person and he was just phenomenal. We exchanged emails from the moment I graduated from my rider course but it wasn't just him trying to throw me on any old thing to make a sale it was on what I wanted, it was about what else Harley has to offer for a beginner rider like me, it was a Harley family introduction into the rider world. He was very patient with me because I had so many questions and he would give me the greatest answer to the best of his knowledge an then get some back up from the rest of his Harley family. Second the entire store at Frederick weren't just trying to get me in an out they wanted to make sure I was going to be in the best rider condition as a new rider giving examples of there on riding experience an giving advice on gear, how to do this when out there on the road, areas they like to ride because it's just a riders bliss on those open roads. Will I be back yes, will I upgrade when I have the most experience I can get on my bike yes because they were awesome and welcomed me into the Harley family.
