Experiencia fantástica: Mr. Oquendo is a great instructor and knows how far to go with you while establishing that trust. He was patient yet firm in giving me the boost of confidence I needed. He took time to create teachable moments every time we met for classes. He was thorough and explained the 'whys' behind every turn, etc. If you don't have common sense then he obviously needs to take a different approach so that the driver does not get them both into an accident. I am disheartened by the amount of poor reviews because I had an AMAZING experience and would hope that more people give him a try.

Experiencia fantástica: After reading all the bad reviews I was very nervous but glad we went with him. Called looking for a sponsor for my nephew who’s never went to driving school and we needed someone to be his sponsor for road test booked for the next day in the morning. Very polite and informative he said he did have availability for the time my nephew had his road test and explained how he would practice with him before his road test. (Which was very helpful) When my nephew arrived at RMV at time he said for us to meet him he was already there and ready to practice with my nephew. From my nephew’s own words- “Great driving instructor he prepares you for your test and goes over everything you need to know without making you feel nervous.” Thank you for everything! Extremely satisfied. Would definitely goto him again for sure. I’d say just make sure your child is ready for the road test if they haven’t been to driving school before just booking a sponsor.

Experiencia negativa: Don’t recommend at all waste of money and time I payed him for all my classes which was my mistake I got scammed! He one was a terrible teacher told me to not ask questions was always late and never called ahead of time and I’ve been calling him for two months already and I still haven’t got all the classes I payed for.

Experiencia negativa: He has knowledge about driving but ruins everything with his attitude. He questions and denigrates people's intelligence level, thinking that he knows everything. Everybody has something at which they are good, and here we are just learning something new.

Experiencia negativa: Thank you for the reviews. Enough said too many people is all saying the same thing about this driving school. Thank you for telling me this since I'm looking for a driving school, and I will be the first to listen and not attend because I don't tolerate, liars, thieves, and rude people I give it three times as bad on the clock and off the clock.

Experiencia negativa: I'm give Mr.Oquendo 1 star only because he was very polite and explained everything to me so well. I passed my test. But when I sent my 18yr old daughter who by the way is a very responsible and and respectful kid to him, She did NOT have the same experience. He was extremely rude to her and told her "you will NOT pass this test today." She failed and came out in tears. He proceeded to tell her in front of everyone out there, "I told you to book more lessons with me. You didn't listen and you failed." Please do not send your kid to him!

Experiencia negativa: Instructor was rude and un professional . He spoke down to me and completely brought my confidence down, not even 5 mins into the lesson. Pretty much told me I didn't know how to drive and I wasn't going to pass but I did prove him wrong and I did pass. No thanks to him . I wouldn't recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: Mr Oquendo was nice and patient with me. I got my license a couple years ago. I will forever be grateful for his assistance. My son is now soon going to take a few classes that he needs and I will of course be returning. and...just as expected my son just passed his test thanks Oquendo :) recommend.

Experiencia negativa: My son went to Oquendo driving school and he was not professional. He didn't teach him what he’s supposed to. It was a waste of money. The day of my sons driving test he told my son “you are not going to pass this test”even in front of the test examiner ‍♀️ like what kind of person says something like that to a teen to get his hopes down.

Experiencia negativa: I I was just driving on Roosevelt Avenue and the driver had to be going at least 60 mph. I was going 50 and he flew by me. Would not want him teaching my kids.

Experiencia negativa: Very bad experience, very good class but on the day of the exam I arrived a few minutes late and the assistant who was going to lend his car was upset and left me without taking the exam at the last minute super bad experience because after I come down from New York to Springfield so as not to return doing the steps again made me lose the appointment and the money I spent

Experiencia negativa: No star, oquendo is rude, unprofessional caused a panick attack to myself in the practice, called me names, wasted my time and talked negative about passing the exam which I did no thanks to his driving school, waste of money should give a refund.

Experiencia negativa: He scheduled classes with me and only came once. But never showed up for the other classes. He made excuses about going to his daughter’s wedding. If’s that’s true he should have at least called. Plus he not a good teacher. All he’s about is money so please don’t bring your child to him if they get there permit and going for license. Go to university driving school in Chicopee they are way better.

Experiencia negativa: Not recommend one days says one thing and the next days says another tells you see next class then Cancels and doesn’t let you know. Says your not ready for the test but does not want to give more class.Not recomendable.

Every day he has an excuse for not showing up, don't waste your time and money. 5 class took a whole month cause he kept canceling on me. Worst driving business. Dont go there cause it's reasonable price, you will be only wasting time. Zero stars if it was possible

Experiencia negativa: In my opinion, Mr. Oquendo was very rude and unprofessional at times. Made me very nervous because at one point with out notice he just took the steering wheel from my hand to demonstrate a "proper turn". Once we go to the 3 point turn he started counting to see if I could do it in 20sec and when I got extremely nervous and unconsciously was trying to beat his timer he yelled at me for trying to do it in a rush.I honestly regretted taking a class with him.

His pricing is very reasonable, you get driving lesson(that fits your schedule), he gives great pointers and makes sure to perfect anything you may need help on. Experiencia negativa: First of all, he ‘forgot’ about our first appointment which was 3 weeks ago. Then today he ‘cancelled because he thought I couldn’t make it’ even though I’ve been calling nonstop since 8am! (Our appointment was at 9.) I’m so unhappy with the amount of time I’ve wasted trying to get lessons by this guy, I could have already had numerous lessons elsewhere. Do not go here if you don’t want your time and money wasted!!!

Experiencia negativa: Very unprofessional and rude. Scheduled numerous appointments with him and there was always an excuse for him to cancel or not show up. It took weeks for me to try to reschedule but could never get ahold of him. He also writes fake reviews about himself! Don’t even think about sending anyone to him or this driving school.

Experiencia negativa: Oquendo never shows up to his appointments and does not call to cancel if hes not going to show up and when i call him he never answers and this has happened to me 4 times with him hes a horrible driving instructor too

Experiencia negativa: Haven't been there, but I watched their instructor drive straight through a red light today...probably shouldn't be teaching people to drive if you can't drive or follow the rules of the road yourself

Experiencia negativa: Had to cancel an appointment and special a practice road test which took 3 days to finally get him to answer the phone. He "did not have time" for my practice and was supposedly 100% booked for the next 6 days and was incredibly rude in telling me this. He clearly had no intention in giving me the time of day

Experiencia negativa: Sucks he's very up tight. Make sure to ask question while in your lesson with him . He is rude and i feel like i learn nothing.

Experiencia fantástica: My grandson Ethan took driving classes from Oquendo, and enjoyed the time he spent with Jorge. Mr. Oquendo has helped us to set up driving tests and has gone far and beyond what he needed to do.
