The best part was not having to sign a contract with any carrier, and the branch manager made starting my new job really easy. The branch manager at the office made my who process a easy one she was very informative and I recommend anyone looking for a CDL contact her at the Tampa office.. I will also be referring my family and friends.

Experiencia negativa: training class on the yard was over crowded ended up having to switch after 8 weeks of trying. spent 8 hours a day to get maybe an 45 mins behind the wheel. edit ended up having to go somewhere else as they count the time your onsite not the time you spend training careful if the class looks full skip it and save your hours.

Experiencia fantástica: Best experience I’ve had yet in our search for a driving school. The customer service, communication, and informative information I received was par none, phenomenal. The woman we met with was patient and delivered thorough understanding for what their school offered and what we could look forward to in the line of work. My son was a bit terrified of all the hoops prior to this meeting and is now looking forward to applying. This experience reassured his confidence in his choice of truck driving and my confidence in the process of it all. 10/10 recommend this location.

Experiencia fantástica: This school has been one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Not only was I able to get it financed but the staff really cared about my success. They were very accommodating as I also had to work while finishing the course. Now I have my cdl license and have been hired on by DB Schenker. Experiencia fantástica: These guys are really good at what they do. They were able to identify my strengths and weaknesses and to give specific instructions for my improvement. They were very patient and I actually enjoyed the experience.

Experiencia fantástica: It was a great experience and challenge for me, because I am deaf. The trainer, James, had the same feeling of facing a new experience and challenge when he trained me, but we bonded immediately. Even though, his patience was appealing, he achieved the outcome well! He made sure that I accomplished my goal! However, from his experience, he would be able to train a deaf person again! Trainers do have different methods of teaching and make sure that students understand the differences of the way trainers teaching them. Finally, they all treated me and others well and they always mention if there is any question, we ask! Do not be hesitate to ask for help if you have struggles. Highly Recommended!

Experiencia fantástica: My experience at 160 was amazing, my teachers were awesome and extremely patient with me, i was originally a class b driver, driving medical Rv’s, so i had never driven a semi before, so once i got out to the yard i was terrified, but when the time came for me to get into the truck my teachers ( Adrian and James) made me feel so comfortable and assured me that i would be great once i learned how to drive the rig, and they were awesome and so hands on. So yea I GRADUATED AND GOT MY CDL with the help of 160. Also in the background giving me support and great advice and just a friendly check up just to make sure i was getting everything I needed Avalon was the best and i mean the best, there were days i was just frustrated with myself and i could just call on Avalon and she knew just what to say to get me back on track. Test day maaaan, Mark and Dan made sure i was calm and out of my own head to keep me focused on what i came here for, so i found a true family in my school 160 and will always recommend people to come and get their education for their new career here. YOU WONT REGRET THE DECISION I PROMISE!!

I was told to slow down in the yard, I think I was going like 4 miles at the time and I was like slow down, how this truck is slow as ever. Well that’s what I said in my head. Experiencia fantástica: Hands down the best instructors and examiners I've had. I have to give a BIG THANKS to James (the lead instructor), as well as the other instructors at the school for teaching me everything I need to know to be safe and successful on the road. The main focus is learning the information to obtain your CDL, but they also made it a happy and fun environment, with all the stories and jokes they had. Also can't forget about the examiner Dan O. I was SO nervous to go and take my test, but he really helped me calm down and made me feel really comfortable. If you want to get your CDL, this school is by far the best school to get it from.

Experiencia fantástica: i was pretty nervous and scared at first because its such a big step but once i called avalon she made it so easy and comforting. the payments are very low and affordable james,adrian,and matt made it so easy for me i walked in knowing nothing and in 3 short weeks along with 20 other students i was getting exactly what i needed to pass the state test first try in a manual the pre trip book was very specific and easy to read just take your time and pay attention it gives you everything you will need for pre trip as far as skills matt was amazing he takes his time making sure you understand everything you are learning just pay attention i highly recommend this school over others i am very satisfied with them. i owe them so much more than this review and a thank you, my life long goal is now achieved

You are given a very detailed booklet for all of your pre-trip, coupling and in-cab as well as plenty of drive time to learn your maneuvers and what you need to know while driving on the road. Would highly recommend if you are looking to get your CDL. Great group of people and treat you well. Thanks guys!!!
