Experiencia fantástica: I a 17yr old came to this school not knowing what to expect. if you are looking for a place to get your motorcycle license this is the place. They were extremely professional and simple with instruction. They were also very patient and I never felt like any task was too large because of how they instructed us. I had a lot of fun while taking this class but, I learned even more. I would highly recommend coming here I drove 3 1/2 hours for it and I have no regrets.

Experiencia fantástica: Just finished my all woman's class today (5/3) absolutely loved the class. Dave and Chris were great! They were really good at explaining to each individual person what they needed to start doing/work on more throughout the whole course, then would praise them when they got it down. Highly recommend them!

They made sure everyone there felt welcome and I am very glad I decide to go to A&J to get my license. I wish the class was longer so I could continue to ride with these guys!!

Experiencia fantástica: Purchased my brand new Ryker and took the 3 wheel class. I was scheduled at KMD driving school in Winslow which would have been much closer to where I live in Southern Maine but called me the day before and said we overbooked and called to cancel. They did not apologize at all and said we can reschedule you in mid August. My class was set for Tuesday May 16th. I thought they were calling to confirm not cancel. On a hope and prayer I called A and J explained the situation and the owner was awesome got me in the very next class which was May 22nd and May 23rd. So happy to go there the instructors made it fun, learning, and very educational. I would highly recommend them to anyone going for their bike license. To this day the other class at KMD still has not reached out.

I'm a novice rider and after taking the beginner course (BRC) this past weekend , I have more confidence and now possess the proper skills and techniques to help me become a better and safe rider. I would recommend to anyone no matter what you think your skill level is , to take the BRC challenge. Thank you A and J for making me and the roads I ride on a safer place.

Experiencia negativa: Not safe! Great example of how unsafe they are. Pick up truck with advertising almost ran me off the road on on ramp by Texas roadhouse at 5:15 pm 4/26. Would never go there.

Keep up the GREAT work A&J Motorcycle Safety School School! You folks are rocking it and setting the bar for other Motorcycle safety programs in our wonderful state of Maine!!.

Experiencia negativa: I wouldn’t recommend A&J’s motorcycle safety school for new riders with no experience even though they claim that they are new rider friendly. I took their class in 2019 as a new rider, with a large class full of somewhat experienced riders whether it be dirt bikes, etc. I asked many questions and they seemed to get annoyed, I didn’t receive much help, and when riding, I dropped my bike due to lack of information and experience regardless of my effort to learn. When this happened they kicked me out of class and took my money anyways (even though this is their fault for the misleading information that this is a beginner friendly course and the lack of instruction and willingness to help me). The misleading information and kicking me out of class while continuing to pocket my money even though I did not get the service I paid for was shady on their part and extremely discouraging as I had chose this school based on their good reviews and had a high opinion of them until my experience with them. On top of that, they told me to practice riding before I come back, promoting unsafe riding rather than just teaching me like I had paid for. I wouldn’t recommend them due to their questionable actions, unethical advice and not following their own refund policy. In conclusion, it seems like this business is only in it for the money rather than genuinely caring about students learning to safely ride. As a follow up, I took a rider safety course at Central Maine Harley Davidson in 2020 and they had a more personable instructor who cared about each individuals knowledge of safely riding and actually took the time to teach me and others in my class properly. I received my motorcycle endorsement first try and have been riding since. The information I learned from Central Maine Motorcycle academy versus AJ’s is comparable like night and day. Central Maine Harley did it right and taught me everything I needed to to be a safe rider. I wouldn’t recommend AJ’s and I was very disappointed in their business.

Experiencia fantástica: Awesome experience, first time riding! The instructors have a passion for riding and are very capable. Drills are used to ease students through the hardest parts of getting started. Each skill builds on the next and work towards basic and urgent maneuvering. The drills are run at a pace that ensures everyone has the skill and has built it before moving on. They can answer just about any bike question you can think of, so don't be shy! The instructors bring their energy and make the course a lot of fun. If you need a sterile, PC environment you might get agitated, but for anyone else, it's a good time. They tie right into the Maine licensing laws, so once you pass the riding and written tests, you get a certificate that grants you 60 days of riding. Take that thing to the BMV and cash it in for a real license! Just do fill out the whole green form - you actually do need your social and all that or the state will reject it.

The instructors were extremely friendly and only used positive reinforcement to help their students. They were also very good at correcting things that students were doing wrong and as someone their availability was also amazing and I would 10 out of 10 recommend this course to anyone

Experiencia fantástica: The class was a good combination of learning, being safe, and having fun. The instructors provided each student with detailed and personalized tips and instructions on how to improve after each lesson and exercise. The instructors were also very encouraging and determined on making sure every rider developed confidence and skill during exercises. If I could give them 6 stars I would.

Experiencia fantástica: I took a trike course the instructor Larry, Kyle and Chris were awesome at teaching us to ride safe and cautious and making sure we understood everything that was being presented to us, I would highly recommend A&J Motorcycle Safety School!

Experiencia fantástica: This BRC course at A & J gives you more confidence for riding and really drills in how to keep yourself and others safe while riding. The instructors are great, and if you are feeling nervous, they are awesome at making you feel more relaxed before every exercise on the bikes (that also means don't hesitate to ask questions!). The techniques you will learn fully prepare you for the evaluation at the end, and if you pay attention, and listen to their advice, you will be on the way to being a better rider. One thing they said that I will focus on (paraphrasing), 'learn something every time you go for a ride'. Looking forward to taking the advanced class after putting some serious work/miles on my bike. Highly recommend A & J!

Experiencia fantástica: Just went to a class this weekend and really learned a lot and had a great time. Good instructors and collaborative environment. Also a super nice area so a great place to stay and explore if you don't live locally (as I don't).

Experiencia fantástica: I have never ridden a motorcycle outside a parking lot before and after taking this class i have learned how to have full control of a motorcycle while i am on it. The instructors are fantastic. They are very knowledgeable and know exactly what they are doing. They also do an amazing job at making sure the students understand the information and are comfortable on a bike. I would 100% reccommend any new rider to take this course. After the second day i was very comfortable riding and maneuvering a motorcycle.

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent way to learn how to ride a motorcycle and to get your motorcycle license. I had only been on a dirt bike once in my life and was able to get my motorcycle license after the 3 day class. The best way to get a motorcycle license in my opinion. Definitely well worth the money. The instructors did their best to make the classroom part as interesting in possible. A lot of time spent learning on a motorcycle was great although it was extremely hot out. There were maybe 20 people in the class and everyone passed the test. I would highly recommend this school if you are looking to get your license.
