Experiencia fantástica: I tried 45 55 and 65, and 65 appeared to be the optimal speed. It is easy to turn around to do it again it you want. The rumbles are across the whole lane. It is in the left lane on the westbound side. You can see the section of the lane that has the rumbles. The road is in good shape, and the tune is clear.

Experiencia negativa: The song is WAY too short for 170 mph i almost crashed ‍♂️

Experiencia positiva: Random quick thing to do if you are passing by. Locals recommend going at 65-70 mph for it to sound a bit better. It’s in the left lane. Good turning around spots for multiple runs

Experiencia fantástica: Musical road was easy to find and only took a minute to drive. It was a fun and unique experience.

Experiencia fantástica: Out in the middle of no where! But fun to hear a tune coming from the grooves in the road. It was worth driving out of our way.

Experiencia positiva: It's neat, but not "go 2 hours out of your way to see it" neat. Tom Scott did a segment on this stretch of road on YouTube explaining how they messed up the measurements of the ridges, which is why the song isn't in the correct pitch.

Experiencia negativa: It only works on one direction and it's way too short, 15 - 20 seconds tops, it should state the optimal speed one should drive at.

Experiencia fantástica: If I was an engineer and worked for the city I would add these throughout all the roads in our cities. Something as simple and silly as this put a huge smile on my face. I can only imagine how cheerful this would be if more drivers could experience this in the city. Maybe road rage would lessen and people would be excited to drive. Originally this was carved into the road for a car commercial. Glad it stayed.

Experiencia fantástica: Whether it's out of tune or such its still a great experience! You can clearly hear what song it is supposed to be - only a 20 sec drive but still so much fun!!

Experiencia fantástica: We were in the area to see the California poppies and we stumbled in this road. The road is not that long but the kids enjoyed it. We went around 3 times. It was a good experience. We were all smiling when we passed thru the road. I recommend visiting this when you're at the area.

Experiencia positiva: An instant hit for a car full of kids who all looked up from their devices and then wanted to do it again. I guess it is out of tune, but you can easily tell what the song is. Probably not going very far out of our way to get here, but fun when we are driving through.

Experiencia positiva: Something fun to do with 17 seconds of spare time if you're driving by the area anyway, but I wouldn't make a special trip to drive the section of road. The "music" is off key due to a miscalculation by the project planners, so expect that. There's a video on YouTube that explains the what and why of it.
