Experiencia negativa: I had a terrible experience with Redd Driving School. I arrived for my scheduled class at 8:20 AM after taking an Uber, only to find the building locked and no one there. I called the number that had originally texted me about the class. At first, there was no answer, but I received a call back shortly after. When I explained I was at the school for class, I was told it had been canceled and that cancellation messages were sent out. However, I never received any such message. Instead of taking accountability, the person on the phone questioned whether I was sure I didn’t get a message, asked for my phone number again, and even doubted whether I had confirmed for that day. I explained that I had received the class details from the very number I was speaking with—how else would I have it? What made it worse was that I wasn’t the only one left in the dark—another student was also there waiting. If it takes three students to run a class, and cancellation texts were supposedly sent, that means there was a full class planned. This situation was not only careless but entirely unprofessional and inconsiderate. I wouldn’t recommend this driving school based on how poorly they handled this.

Experiencia fantástica: I was pulled over recently for having an exhaust that was "a little too loud". After writing me a fix it ticket he asked "who taught you how to drive? Are you a chauffeur or something? I was following you for over a mile and normally people slip up." It took me a few seconds but I remembered it was R.E.D.D. driving school. That was almost two decades ago.l looked you guys up and it looks like you're still around. Thanks again!

Experiencia negativa: Just saw one of their drivers in the red 4 door car run through a red light at 394 and Sauk Trail today, May. 18, 2024 at 9:00am Central Time. They were right next to us and the green turn arrow came on but they went through the intersection anyway. I would not trust them teaching anyone how to drive properly.

Experiencia positiva: I am absolutely disappointed at the lack of communication of the staff at this school. I had called at the end of February to schedule behind-the-wheel lessons for myself. However, I went for over a month without a reply, despite my emailing them and calling them countless times. I even visited their office during their normal business hours and never saw them inside. When I called them again, they made the excuse that they could not get back to me because of spring break. If you are looking to schedule BTW lessons with the school, I highly discourage it. Although there is lack of communication, I do have to say that the classroom portion is solid. Through their rigorous curriculum, I was able to pass my written test with flying colors.

Experiencia negativa: I spoke with Dan months ago, I sent in all the required paperwork and never heard back. I have been calling for weeks no answer. Very unprofessional I will find a different school to use for my daughter and encourage others not to utilize them.

Experiencia negativa: I usually don’t write reviews but I definitely have to say that I had the worst experience with this company representative- I believe His name is “Dan” He wouldn’t pick up his calls or respond. I sent in all the needed information he asked for but I never received any response. This company is soooo unprofessional and unreliable.

Experiencia negativa: I had really high hopes that this program could help my teenager. He did have 2 sessions but when I attempted to schedule more, there was no response. For example, I've been told I will be forwarded the information, someone will call me back or there's just no answer--- when l call,text or email. I have used this program many times in the past with my two older children and they are both successful drivers. But this time, I'm finding it difficult to speak with anyone to continue the program. Now I am currently looking for new schools. My son already had anxiety about driving lessons and now he has to start again. It's a sad situation and I'm very dissapointed.

Experiencia negativa: The owner was extremely nice but we weren't satisfied with our son's instructor. I feel like we wasted money.

Experiencia negativa: I have called, texted, and emailed multiple times to get my son started on the behind the wheel classes and have yet to receive a response to my request/questions. I decided to go with another school in Tinley and the sign up process and communication was so much better.

Experiencia negativa: On the website it says the adult drivers ed is only for 18-20 yr old. So they wouldn't take anybody over that age? If so thts not right

Experiencia negativa: I’ve been trying to get in contact with you guys since early 2020. At this point, if your phone broken or something? Are you still in business? I’ve called too many times to not have gotten through by now. It’s frustrating.

I called reds and she took some classes with Marvin and in 2 weeks she took her drivers license road test and passed it the first time out. We are very pleased with there service highly recommended the company and Marvin.
