Making a commitment to get your Drivers License is a matter that we take very seriously by providing an excellent and proven program. Our classroom content and behind the wheel training is provided by certified instructors who work with each student individually to mold them into a safe and confident driver.
We have instructors, both male and female, that teach for TNT Driving School and they are each licensed and CORI Checked by the RMV. They have all been trained according to the TNT Driving methods. Our instructors' goal is to teach new drivers defensive techniques to make them safer and more confident on the road.
We are a professional school staffed by professional instructors and pride ourselves on treating our students with courtesy. We take every step in ensuring that the students will have a hassle-free, fun experience learning at the TNT Driving School.
The staff and instructors are all very nice, friendly and helpful. April vacation speed week worked great for our busy schedule and it was easy to schedule drive times. It was a great experience and I would definitely recommend TNT.
This is a very good school and they present you to the tough world of driving in a safe way. Their team is friendly, smart, and cooperative. Their lectures are comprehensive and meaningful. I recommend them for any type of driving lessons and road tests preparation.
Do you, as a parent, want your child to learn just enough to be able to pass the driving test or learn correct, safe driving techniques that can be used from the day they get their license? Through our training methods from our qualified instructors, your child will learn to be a safe driver from the first day they get behind the wheel!

1 year ago Experiencia negativa: Simply put: TNT is an unethical driving school, please read on… After I signed my daughter up I heard about overcharges from other families in Cohasset & not the releasing the certificate at the end until you pay the extra Fees they say you owe, now this is happening to me as well. They made a driving lesson for my daughter, then did not shown up (Not the first time) now they say i owe $60.00 and will not allow me her end if class certificate. For us its too late, maybe not your family My take is they clearly take on too many students = $, however they don’t have the lessons available. This practice results in an extreme delay to actually complete the required classes. My daughter should have had her License to drive months ago. Karin Cohasset, Ma.
Hi Karin,
I'm sorry to hear about your experience at TNT. As our Parent-Student Contract states, we do charge a $25 certification fee to all students. If the $25 is an issue, please get a hold of the RMV and they may be able to refund you the money.
While our records indicate that your daughter cancelled several appointments (8 in total), we understand that students are busy with personal commitments, and we allow for that flexibility and reschedule for free when requested. It is important to understand, however, that each cancellation is a setback in the standard 6 month driving schedule, so it is expected that with 8 cancellations, your daughter’s completion date will be later than expected.
With regards to the missed appointment you are referring to, our automated computer system forwards a confirmation email to each student when an appointment is scheduled. If that time does not align with the driving time you wanted, we ask that you reach out to our office, and we are able to make those updates. Unfortunately, nobody reached out to us to reschedule this drive, and it registered as a no-show on our end. We do have a policy of charging $65 for a missed appointment, but as a sign of good faith, I was able to refund you that $65.
We pride ourselves on finishing our students’ driving hours on time. As our website and Parent-Student Contract state, the licensing process may take 6 months or more to complete. I'm sorry that it feels too long, but that is the state RMV standard.

5 years ago Experiencia negativa: I’d like to share my recent experience with TNT. My child recently took the virtual drivers education classes and one on one driving instruction. These were both positive experiences. TNT also promotes an additional service for $160.00 which includes sponsorship, use of their vehicle for the road test and scheduling of the road test. Which we agreed to and paid for. When the road test occurred my child was told by the TNT sponsor (that she had never met before); to “get in the vehicle, drive to the bushes to the driving examiner in the parking lot, now, GO”. When she did as she was told the examiner failed her on the spot stating she took the vehicle without authorization. I have reached out to TNT multiple times by email and have left voicemails. They have ignored all correspondence and have not tried to resolve this issue. TNT didn’t provide the service we paid for. This was unfair and the RMV and TNT shouldn’t work so hard to trick a 16-year-old girl. In my opinion by failing her in this manner was a way to increase the failure rate. I understand the driving test should be difficult, but the driving test should be based on the test; not tricks. She was treated unfairly. I have brought my daughter up to respect law enforcement and to have this be her first encounter is extremely disappointing. Having two more children that will have to go through this process I know who NOT to recommend or have them attend for a driving school.
TNT Driving School has been in business for over 40 years. He have helped tens of thousands of students get their license and become safe drivers. We are not in the business to set our students up to fail. TNT reached out to you several times in regards to the situation in person, via email and on the phone. Please let us know what we could have done to improve our communication.

5 years ago Experiencia fantástica: Since I’ve seen good reviews about your business, my question is: Do you have any previous experience assisting Deaf/Hard of Hearing Students with Disabilities (Autism/Aspergers) with lessons or Deaf/Hard of Hearing Adults with disabilities (Aspergers) who already have drivers license that may need practice driving lesson?? Thanks.
We have worked with students with disabilities quite a bit. We don't, however, have accomodations available for the cars if that is needed. If you'd like to discuss a particular student, give the office a call and we can go over the best way to proceed.

I was pleased with the education about safety and rules of the road. Communication was excellent and everything was done in a timely manner. My questions were answered and staff was flexible with our schedule. We were very happy with this driving school.

6 years ago Experiencia fantástica: I have had both of my children go through TNT driving school for their licenses. From start to finish it was an excellent experience. Both in room classroom instruction and on the road real life instruction was excellent. We had to do our job to of course. Parents need 40 hours of interaction with their child on the road. But everything TNT needed to do was done and done above par. I highly recommend this school and I feel sorry for students who don't get this level of instruction.

6 years ago Experiencia fantástica: This is a great driving school. The speed week during school vacation was the best idea. All staff was very pleasant and very informational. My son had a great experience from the classroom time, driving lessons and the road test went well, he passed on the first try. I would recommend this driving school.

6 years ago Experiencia negativa: DO NOT EVER SIGN with this Driving school..... I have been trying to get my son his license for over 1 year.. they have not driving test dates during the week, only weekends. they are very short staffed and can not provide driving dates... We used Parker for my daughter and went with TNT because of the express week class.. WORSE DECISION !!!!
6 years ago Experiencia fantástica: True story. I opted into Progressive’s drive safe program (btw great way to save on your insurance). I gave my Pathfinder to my 17 year old to drive for a full month. My insurance driver’s rating went from a B- to an A+!! Thank you TNT for teaching him the correct way to drive! Do you do adult lessons?

6 years ago Experiencia negativa: This place sucks, not because of the drivig instructors or the way they teach. The management is all out of wack, I am currently in my car stuck at the driving school because they didnt give me the address I had to go to to take the Road Test with them. I suggest not going here if you want to get your license as soon as possible.

7 years ago Experiencia fantástica: I had my first lesson this evening with Joe I was very very nervous, but right after meeting him I realized it was going to be ok. He is very patient and nice he explains anything you don’t understand and is very easy to talk to so you don’t need to be nervous asking questions or making mistakes I am so happy I decided to go with tnt it’s amazing. I can’t wait for my next 4 classes!!!!!!
