Joe was her instructor, and she was extremely comfortable with him. He gave her great information and prepared her well for the test at the DMV, which she passed with flying colors. The four sessions with Joe also gave her more confidence on the road, which was our biggest goal. Experiencia fantástica: Joe was my driver, he was honestly a stand up guy. I came in with no real driving experience so he took his time and helped guide me towards the proper pathway to learning. He takes breaks when necessary and makes you feel comfortable with well placed conversation, and gives genuinely solid advice that absolutely anyone could use and incorporate into their driving. Experiencia fantástica: my driving instructor joe was so helpful, we were able to practice on the actual DMV course to prepare me for the drivers test which i was so grateful to be able to do, A. so i knew what to expect and B. it allowed me to complete several rounds of repetition in my 4 driving maneuvers. he was so generous and kind as well, after our lessons half of the time we would go out for a treat to celebrate the work we completed and progress made in training and learning. the defensive driving techniques i learned from him were vital and i genuinely feel so so prepared for the road now.

I can’t recommend my driving instructor Michael enough! I wish if I had someone like him when I was originally getting my driver license! Michael is everything you need your instructor to be- polite, EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND PROFESSIONAL, makes you at ease so you aren’t panicking as seeing someone next to you who is supposed to teach you how to drive also panic LOL. It’s so much better when you actually have a PROFESSIONAL teach you something you wanna get better at. I got 4x90minutes classes and I can tell that I gained the confidence I didn’t have, am driving better and you get to learn so much stuff you probably didn’t know even if you already have a DL! And you definitely gain another perspective on driving!!! Thank you Suncoast and thank you Michael, I am gonna be back!!!

I ended up doubling the amount of time my son had with Michael- sarasota is ridiculously dangerous place to drive. My son passed his drivers test yesterday on the first try.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been driving for 50 years, w/a clean record, but because of a bureaucratic screwup in my new home state, I had to take a road test. Calling Suncoast was one of my best decisions ever. I needed to take a licensed driver w/me to the test. Bill knows EVERYTHING about driving and about being tested in Florida. He had me practice in one of the school cars before the test and really calmed me down. His road tips are priceless. Well worth the money, and I am labeled a ""Safe Driver" on my shiny new Florida license. Can't thank him enough! Way more than I think I could of taught because let's be honest, the roads right now are terrifying and I would be too nervous to take her on busy roads but her instructor has done it, and was relaxed and on point with guiding her, which in turn made her less nervous. There isn't enough space or enough words to give them the proper review. Amazingly talented in driving instruction. What I loved most (I loved everything) is that Bill taught using various methods to reach an auditory learner and a visual learner; from talking to the use of a whiteboard and miniature cars. This school does not miss a thing! They cover it all and the communication and professionalism is 5 star. WORTH EVERY PENNY!!

Experiencia positiva: I have 3 teenager and used this company last year and the year before successfully with a driver named Andy who was very professional, courteous and prompt with scheduling information. This year I requested Andy but received instead Bill (who possibly may be the owner or boss). It took him a solid week to respond to me (even though I had paid in full for 6 sessions) and then he presented me with several dates a week later then reprimanded me for taking 24 hours to respond and said most of those presented dates were now taken. Eventually a date was selected and my daughter became sick and could not attend (which i informed him of the day before) Bill did NOT attempt to text me to reschedule. I had to text him about it at least a week later when he finally did get back to me he said he was "busy" and wasn't sure when he could schedule her in and then offered me a date and time (today at 2pm) which I accepted. Today at noon i texted Bill to make sure he was coming only to have him reply "I was unable to move anyone and have had no cancelations"...Thanks Bill you probably could have texted me that a month ago. VERY POOR COMMUNICATION buyer beware

Experiencia fantástica: Certain people restore one's faith in humanity because of their honesty and sincere desire to help others- Bill Rowell, the owner of Suncoast Driving School, is one of those people. I live in the Fort Lauderdale area but after researching many driving schools in our area for my 82-year old mom, I came to the conclusion that Suncoast sounded better than all of them and would even be worth making the three-hour drive to Sarasota and staying in a hotel overnight. I spoke with Bill's secretary (can't remember her name, but she was exceedingly professional and nice), who asked for some information and then said it would be better for me to speak directly with Bill, who was out giving lessons at the time. Bill called me back a few hours later and asked specific questions to get an idea of what would be best for my mom. He said there was really no reason for me to drive all the way to Sarasota, gave me suggestions on where to take her in our area, and also offered several helpful expert tips on what I can do to aid the process. He even said to feel free to call him back with any questions. What a super human being. Thank you, Bill!

Most importantly, he made me feel very safe when I’m learning how to drive. He doesn’t just help you pass the test but also make sure you won’t get yourself killed on the road lol. I had little driving experience and lacked confidence and Bill was absolutely brilliant in getting me ready for my test and for the road again. I did a 6-hour refresher course and Bill was great at making me feel at ease and passing on invaluable tips. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending him.

My two boys, who at the outset didn't want to attend, explained afterward that not only was the school super fun but they felt they were now much better drivers. Experiencia fantástica: Bill Rowell taught both of my kids to drive (who are now 21 and 24) and it was one of the very best things I have ever done for my kids. They are both excellent drivers, who have now spent hundreds of hours behind the wheel. My daughter was recently involved in an accident and her "defensive driving" skills definitely saved her from being injured as she was able to do everything possible to avoid being hit when a car pulled out from a median right toward her car on a busy 4 lane road. Damaged front end of the car, but my daughter was fine (and quite proud of herself!). The driving lessons continue to pay for themselves many years later.
