SAGE Truck Driving Schools - CDL Training in Cheyenne

Experiencia negativa: I helped my son pay to get his CDL and he is now paying payments. HOWEVER, After 3 days of school they WON'T get on with the driving portion! Nothing! Ghosting?? If a person pays for a school, the school SHOULD get the students DONE!!!! He has job opportunities which he is missung because Sage Truck Driving School wont get him DONE!! It has been over a month!!

Experiencia fantástica: I got my CDL here over 2 yrs ago now... I'm still very grateful to Justin for getting me approved for the grant program and the staff for training me. I don't know where I'd be without their help.

During my schooling, all of the instructors, Spencer, Jeff, Eric, and tina were always attentive, helpful, and all around very pleasant to be around. The school director Mike smith is a very hardworking, and made sure every student had what they needed to succeed! 10/10 i will always recommend this school, and this location in particular, to anyone I know that is interested in obtaining their CDL!

Tamara was very helpful facilitating my enrollment and very kind. Instructors Spencer, Eric and Tina were very knowledgeable and great to work with. Mike is a great Director who leads a professional team that truly wants the students to succeed. The Cheyenne staff represent SAGE to the highest degree, and I will recommend anyone looking to obtain CDL training to them. Truley an amazing experience.

Experiencia fantástica: Sage was an excellent option for a CDL course. Being a single working mom, it was difficult to take 8 weeks off that most programs require but Sage worked with my work/childcare schedule and helped me succeed. Highly recommend!

Experiencia negativa: I’m not a commercial driver, I’m a cyclist and I almost got smoked by a Sage truck on Parsley just now. 10:10 on Saturday May 27. Seriously, I could have grabbed the mirror and held on like Marty McFly. It’s common courtesy to give 5 feet of clearance to cyclists, but I’d settle for anything more than 12 inches.

Experiencia negativa: Don’t waste your time and money. Instructors are more interested in spending time on their phones immersed in personal drama. They have a tendency to grab the wheel and scream at you when you’re driving. Trucks are old and unsafe. This CDL school is a joke.

Experiencia negativa: Not a good school a lot of YouTube videos about trucking but not a lot of actually doing it Instructors are old men who are impatient and expect you to be an expert immediately Very much focused on getting you out as fast as possible instead of teaching you What you need in this career The trucks are used to test you are very old and beat up I would look elsewhere

Experiencia fantástica: I went there to get my manual transmission endorsement. They were fast with paperwork and getting me in. The instructor was great. Never yelled. Explained what I was aiming for and guided me with parts I needed to improve on. If you want your CDL, go here. They’ll teach you the right way fully. It’ll make such a difference and help you enjoy being out on the road. Thanks Sage!!

The instructors are all very knowledgeable with years of experience. I would recommend SAGE Cheyenne to anybody looking at getting into the transportation industry!

Experiencia fantástica: Good school to start off if you don't want to go OTR. I started in 2012, Got a local oilfield job right away. You must be proactive in finding a job! If you find yourself unable to handle the fact the school has older trucks and the schedule doesn't work for you, you might want to rethink going to this school. I'm honestly finding the negative reviews kinda funny. Hey you're in a trucking school, not a country club.

Experiencia negativa: As a perspective student. Information from the school. Equipment is 20yrs old. Financing is from a 3rd party with insane interest rates. Cost is roughly $6k for this short training. Overall school from other trucking companies are much better all around. As they guarantee you a job right out of the gate unlike this schooling. My advice to anyone is to do all of your homework before jumping into this school.

Experiencia negativa: Worst experience ever. Classroom instruction consists of watching VHS tapes. Trucks are old and wore out. Brenda the manager is a pain in the ass. They will not work with you on scheduling with your job. I was working at night and if I asked to come in late she acted like the world would end even though the classroom time consisted of watching videos. A few times i had to leave 30 min early and she threatened pushing back my graduation date even though the 30 minutes was dead time as we had finished our 8 hours of video watching. If I could give it a negative 5 stars if i could . Do not waste your time or money. Brenda should not be in any position of leadership.

Experiencia fantástica: Small town cdl school. More one on one training than the cdl farms. Their backing area is great. It may not look like much but it is in same condition as what ull see at most receivers. As far as the previous review, yes ur being picky. This area is an oil field. They want 2+ yrs xp. Get on the road and shut up.
