Experiencia negativa: Absolutely disaster. An instructor with his own fears at age of 80 . Never again.

Experiencia negativa: The instructor was a cranky old man. I understand they are testing the safety of people headed out to drive in the world but his lack of empathy and down right rudeness had my daughter leaving in tears. There was no reasoning with him and the office staff was just as bad. We'll never use courtesy again.

Experiencia negativa: 0/5. My instructor was great, however they cancelled my road test less than a week in advance and when I called for a refund they refused. I understand they have a no refund policy, however THEY cancelled on me, I did NOT cancel on them and they refused my refund, due to their scheduling issues. Don't give your money to this company. Terrible communication, bad business practices, bad customer service, money hungry.

Experiencia negativa: Don't Not, I repeat Don't Not, spend your money with this company. They have poor customer service. The instructor is rude. I had to speak up on another students behalf due to the way he was treating her. She thanked my daughter for speaking up. The manager is RUDE! Unsympathetic. My daughter is being penalized for a SOA issue. I was told her fee would be waived. Now it's not, just to get another $80. Not from me! We will go elsewhere.

Experiencia negativa: Very upset with their expectations of having students only able to do observation hours at 2:30 pm, when your child does not attend the high school. Apparently only offer single classes at 4:30. Also have limited days (Monday to Thursday). They cancelled her original class which made us so a later class and she already had obligations and had to cancel on her volunteer hours.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible experience with the lack of communication from the instructor on scheduling drives. When I called their main office, the supervisor repeatedly cut me off and refused to help. They appear to book too many students for the instructor's availability. Main office is not helpful and incredibly rude.

Experiencia negativa: I wish I could give this place a 0 I decided to register for my segment 2 classes at courtesy and made sure to read through all of the information they sent out. It did say that if you were going to miss a class you had to notify the school 72 hours before. On the day of the first class I had gotten sick and couldn’t make it, how was I supposed to know i was going to get sick 3 days before?! anyways, when I joined the second class I made sure to have all my documents ready and print out the 40 page pretest, but when I joined the class I got humiliated in front of everyone in the zoom. The instructor had told me that I was not allowed to take the class anymore because i missed the first day and that it was clearly stated on the website and in the emails i received before hand, I was extremely confused because that was never said anywhere so I asked him what he meant and raised his voice at me and restated what he said before but in an extremely condescending way. After this I went back and checked all of the emails and the website, and i went so far as to going through the application process to see if it said anywhere that if you miss one day you are kicked out of the class, cant re take it, and won’t get a refund, and of course it wasn’t said anywhere. The only thing relevant that the website or emails said was that you had to notify the school 72 hours before. I called and my mom called and we weren’t able to get a refund or get any help at all. this place is a scam, don’t apply unless you want your money stolen.

Experiencia negativa: My daughter did segment one with them. Driving teacher Gave political lessons to my daughter as she drove (lectured her on things we do NOT agree with). Then teachers and office personnel do NOT Communicate. Called after two weeks of not receiving her certificate and found out that they claimed she was missing things that she should have not been missing. So had we not called we would have not known what was going on. I was asked to drive all the way to the office to solve it again. Never again.

Experiencia negativa: Class is fine but they purposely fail you on the driving test so they can get more money for instance when parking on a curb you should be a foot away I was failed because I WAS A HALF INCH TOO CLOSE they brought a f-ing ruler trust me take the test at the SOS

She went above and beyond to help him gain confidence and the skills he needed to begin driving! It’s SO difficult as a mom with special needs kids to find Driving instructors to help our kiddos. Thank you SO much from the bottom of our hearts! She truly is a Gem!

Experiencia negativa: An employee of this organization, while on a road test with a student in Howell, MI, hit my parked vehicle and then attempted to leave. I witnessed the incident, and confronted him. He then proceeded to blame me for having a big truck, and tried to downplay the damage. Had to get the police involved. Has to be a garbage organization to employ trash like him. Incident occurred on 3-May, 2019.

Experiencia negativa: Worst experience ever. I wish I would have read the reviews before using this company. The SOS printout says requirements are 3 hours of driving BEFORE class ends and then they have 3 weeks to get the other 3 hours done, my daughter had ZERO drives during the 3 week class time. When I called to ask about this, I was told that it was a scheduling conflict because my daughter does marching band. So it’s ok that she was the only student who didn’t get one single drive prior to instruction ending. Also, there is only allowed 1 hour of driving a day, per the SOS website, but they don’t care. They will schedule double drives to make up for time. Please save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. People wonder why teenagers get into so many accidents, gee here’s a clue.

Experiencia negativa: I would give a ZERO star if I could. This company should not be allowed to operate. I am unsure if SOS even checks on these companies to see if they are scamming people. PLEASE don't spend your money here and tell your local school to remove their brochures. All they want is your money! The teachers don;t teach anything to the students, they show videos and give out worksheets. Then they tell you their personal stories and waste your child's time. PLEASE LISTEN to my warning DO NOT GO HERE! These companies are supposed to have the privilege from the state of MI to conduct these road tests and they have figured out how to SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM

Experiencia negativa: Very quick to take your money but I've since learned segment II is unnecessary if your kid is nearing 18 years of age. Funny how no one tells you that when your're signing up..seems shady to me. Save your money or go elsewhere.

Experiencia positiva: The test was fine easy and to the point, if u know your stuff. But the actual person is just an absolute ass when it comes to just basic manners and people skills. So if u can handle the dude being an ass the hole time its all good.

Experiencia negativa: We didn't have a problem with the classes but the road test portion was a nightmare. The man who does the testing in Marysville was extremely rude. When we went to Secretary of State to get the drivers license they had us call Courtesy to get something faxed over because the man wrote the wrong date on the certificate, the test was taken in June and he dated it August. They wouldn't do anything for us, said we had to track down the man who did the test to fix it. Luckily SOS said we could just go find the receipt and bring it in to get the license. For as much as this whole process costs they sure have terrible customer service. I do not recommend them at all.
