Experiencia fantástica: Our daughter sat for their eight hour class and did really well! The instructor, Robert was, by her account, outstanding; funny and easy to listen to. The entire staff were so patient and polite. Thank you all!

Experiencia negativa: SERIOUSLY UNPROFESSIONAL. Maybe some people are afraid to write honest reviews about how bad they are because they're afraid it will affect their ability to get the licence and there's no refunds. They never call to schedule driving times and when you eventually get a call back after several messages, they are scheduled months out. They are rude and patronizing. My teen witnessed very racist behavior toward others in the class. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!

Experiencia fantástica: The class was very informative and helpful, and David helped put my daughter at ease behind the wheel, helping her to become more confident in her driving abilities.

Experiencia fantástica: I was a student of the Kennedy Driving schools and the instructor was nice and funny and just a great person to be around but the school it’s self is also great. The school teaches you everything you need to know so you are prepared and ready to go out there and drive while still being safe.

Experiencia fantástica: We loved our experience with The Driving School, but especially with his actual Driving Instructor, Misty. She was awesome. She was kind, peaceful, informative , and communicative. Her laid back approach helped to ease the anxiety my son had about getting behind the wheel. She was extremely helpful even after his first instructional lesson, when we went to the DMV to get his permit. She went above and beyond and was willing to help in anyway she could. We highly recommend the school and Misty.

Experiencia fantástica: We choose Topeka Driving School because our last experience was lacking. WOW! What a difference. From the instruction day to the scheduled driving time, the whole program was excellent. Why? Well my daughter learned so much and was able to talk through many situations easily. Next, our driving instructor was not only great with our driver. But her communication with me on scheduling was consistent and detailed. I knew what the plan was each day and she listened to my hopes for the drive time. Misty was personable and made my daughter feel so comfortable behind the wheel. She made sure to teach her both in town driving, evening driving, one way driving, highway driving, defensive driving, passing semi's, I could go on. Worth every penny in case you are on the fence about what program to choose. We are based in Lawrence and it was no trouble at all getting our times in.

Experiencia fantástica: My driving instructor and this whole program was excellent! I was shown where a incident occurred and told how. It taught me how to be understanding that certain paths that seem okay sometimes should be taken with more caution. It is unfortunate of the events I can't undo but it is a good lesson to future drivers that other schools likely won't teach you. I was also taught how to drive in snow conditions. I live up North now and i can get around in a FWD car better than most SUV's and some trucks. This is the best place in Kansas to go for driving school if you ask me. Thank you Bill Kennedy Driving School. 5 stars!

Experiencia negativa: I paid 224 dollars just for them to tell me I'm too far to pick up and now they won't answer my calls or emails to give me my money back. Didn't think the lady on the phone would scam me like this be care. I needed that 224 dollars and was so excited to finally drive just to get my hopes up again. If theirs someone who's always in the office why didn't anyone call or email me back? If it has been a policy for so long why wasn't it known? Why is there a Kansas City address on the website when the actual driving School 3 hours away?

Experiencia fantástica: I really appreciate having Jake as my instructor, as he made it clear from the very beginning that there was going to be no pressure on his end, and makes sure his students are as comfortable as possible during the driving sessions. It honestly made the experience so much easier for me. I was on the highway in no time, and pretty much all of my anxieties about driving were gone by the first day, and I had a lot of fun while learning. Give this guy a raise

I had Jacob Smith as my driving instructor, he was really nice and I have debilitating (severe) social anxiety and my anxiety was of course there on the first day I was meeting a new person! But he’s really easy to communicate with and he gives instructions very clearly which really helps. But anyways my Social Anxiety was barely even there, it was basically non-existent! And I had a great time driving with him, he kept reassuring me I was doing good which encouragement really helps with my anxiety I didn’t overthink anything, I wasn’t stressed while driving at all.

Experiencia fantástica: Dave did a great job on scheduling around my sons activities. Provided good basic instructions and training. Always took his personal time to meet with us after each session to describe skills needing improvement. This was our third child that went through their program and we have been very pleased with the results.

For me, driving was a lot of anxiety, accelerating fear, and images of pedestrians popping out in my head, and even the tragic sight of a car accident came to my mind every time I sat in the car. However, this school taught me the knowledge I needed and the dangers of driving for a whole day. Three weeks later, six hours of driving practice began. I was in charge of a gentle gentleman and easygoing man named Jake. I was worried because I was a beginner in driving and I was not good at English, but that worry soon disappeared. I asked him immediately if he had any questions, and he immediately gave me the best answer. After 6 hours of driving practice, many of my anxieties and fears of driving were largely gone. I was lucky to learn to drive from him. I strongly recommend this school to everyone.

Experiencia negativa: Have now sent 3 kids through this school and it's a joke, don't waste your money. First kid spent all of her "drive time" drinking coffee at Starbucks with her instructor.. after getting attitude from them they finally agreed to give her 2 more hours of drive time with a different instructor..keep n mind this was a kid who never had driven in her life. Next kid has now waited a month.. A MONTH!! to take his 6 hours of drive time, was supposed to go tomorrow morning but the instructor just cancelled and said "maybe Friday" are you kidding me?? 366.00 bucks a pop and you have students waiting this long.. absolutely unacceptable. Was told there driving would commence up to 2 weeks after...not over a month and now longer. Child #4 will not be going through this racket. I will take her to a different school.*** Update- Not sure how you can say he would have completed in 5 weeks when the instructor could not let him know when they were rescheduling his drive time. nonetheless, you offered a refund so we can take our business elsewhere. That is exactly what we plan to do- Your customer service is less than desirable! Your instructors in my opinion are not fit and seem to hardly care what kind of drivers they are putting on the road. Not all, one of my kids had a great instructor who showed up on time and got him on the road without canceling or hanging out at a coffee shop. Maybe you should have more like that one! Maybe I should have listened to everyone I talked to who told me not to waste my money going through this company. regardless, its said and done and the lesson was learned. Good day.
