Experiencia negativa: Estoy muy molesta con esta bendita escuela recibí un mensaje cuando el señor José falleció que en paz descanse, falleció el mismo día que me tocaba ir al DMV pague dos paquetes de clases que en total fueron 10 clases y uno llama y llama, estoy cansada de llamar y esta bendita gente no contesta dicen que el número que eh llamado está fuera de servicio, son unos ladrones porque deberían de comunicarse con las personas y resolver porque habían mas personas trabajando hay ósea que no hay justificación alguna para hacer eso de robar el dinero porque por lo visto no soy la única que ha hecho este tipo de comentarios quejándose aquí y tengo mis pruebas mis recibos porque no lo pienso dejar así, buscare la manera de recuperar mi dinero, porque bastante que me mate trabajando para conseguirlo bueno abusadores eso no se le hace a nadie

Experiencia negativa: My initial experience with the driving school was positive. I purchaed 20 classes for the cost of $800.00. Mr Jose was very capable in teaching me how to drive...He had a brash way of teaching, talked a little too much and also had me driving him to pick up his lunch. After 10 lessons Mr Jose passed away, in early July. The sign on the store said July 15, 2022 they would be reopened. The office number is out of service, his daughter took two phone calls from me, and said that a family member might be taking over the business, and that they would be reaching out to clients. Well, I am out $400.00 and would like to know if anyone else has is owed any $$ from this company.

Experiencia negativa: Wow !! A donde me he metido !! Solo quería mi video de 5 horas y al final terminé comprando uno sus paquetes ya que no se me hacía mala idea tomar una clase de manejo. Estuve a Tiempo para mi clase y me encontré con un letrero que estaba cerrado . No fueron capaces de avisar que no iba a poder ser posible ninguna llamadas ningún mensaje . Intento comunicarme y ningún número telefónico funciona . supuestamente tengo mi prueba de manejo la próxima semana y claro me espero lo peor . No se si algún día darán una explicación e qué pasó . Si también les ha pasado algo parecido con esta escuela la mejor manera es juntarnos y levantar una demanda escuelas cómo está no deberían de existir ya que solo les roban su dinero . wow!! Where have I been!! I just wanted my 5 hour video and in the end I ended up buying one of their packages since I didn't have a bad idea to take a driving lesson. I was on time for my class and came across a sign that it was closed. They were not able to let me know anything , no calls or messages would be possible. I try to communicate and no phone number works. I supposedly have my driving test next week and of course I expect the worst. I do not know if one day they will give an explanation and what happened. If something similar has also happened to you with this school, the best way is to get together and file a lawsuit. Schools like this should not exist because they steal your money.

Experiencia fantástica: I have passed my road test 7/1. Thanks to Jose who was able to teach me how to drive during each session. Jose is a great instructor, responsable, respectful and punctual, he has a lot of experience in driving. I recommend this place to anyone, but be prepared because Jose is very strict with schedule, come ready with receipt and permit ID. they have a good system to track schedules but be always prepare. Again thanks to Jose driving school I was able to pass my road test with 10 sessions and now I have a driver license. I’m very Happy!

Experiencia fantástica: Jose is a great instructor and kind. He teaches you everything that you need to learn in order to get your license and get you comfortable with driving. Prices are affordable compared to other driving schools as well. I was able to get my driving license thanks to Jose.

Experiencia fantástica: Jose driving school is a great school for everyone, Jose is a great instructor for anyone who has low or great driving experience. He is very honest and kind when correcting your driving skills. I’m someone who is bilingual in Spanish and English and it was good to know that Jose also had some great bilingual skills and as well as great communication skills with his students.

Experiencia fantástica: I hadn't driven in over a decade and needed lessons to refresh my driving "muscle memory." José and his team are organized, kind, and very helpful. I appreciated his careful, cautious style on the road as well.

Experiencia negativa: I don’t understand how this places have some many good reviews. I understand that we’re a student and we have to listen to the teacher because they have more experience, but oh boy this guy is something also. I have my permit for 8 years, and driving for more years, I take the driving lessons just for the road test. When he knows that he’s wrong he get really mad, he’s always late and unprofessional, he doesn’t know how to talk professional, talk about other students. The classes are 45 minutes, but I never got to do the whole 45 minutes. He thinks that everybody knows how to talk or understand ghetto. Go right, go left that simple. Safe yourself time and money.

Experiencia negativa: Worst place to go to. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I wanted to try that school out and paid for a class, the 5hr class and the road test. He called me cheap and he was bragging about how much money he used to spend when he was my age. Also he said the school thing was he's side job since he's already retired. Basically I did not learn anything for 160 . Also his car is SUPER DIRTY I AM LUCKY I DIDNT CATCH COVID IN THAT CAR. This happened on Tuesday August the 3rd of 2021.

Experiencia negativa: Jose is completely unprofessional, he talks very inappropriately, and uses students as his personal driver to run arrands. I've sat outside a bank or store for him countless of times. He is completely unorganized, can never find your paperwork. I had to physically make notes of all of my sessions. He often forget when we had a session and I had to call him several times or physically show up to the school. I purchased 10 sessions straight up. Only did 8 because I had a trip planned and when I came back he said I had to buy more lessons eventhough I had two left. I put 2 stars because I got some driving experience from it. But I didn't even get to get my license. Save yourself the money and go somewhere else.

Experiencia fantástica: I took one class with Jose driving school and the next day I passed my road test. I’ve been Driving forever so of course that played a part. That Combined with the pointers he gave me when practicing helped me get my license back. In short if you pay attention to his instructions you will learn how to drive and pass your road test.

Experiencia negativa: Poor communication. Always forgot when we set the lesson time for. He was always late for the lessons and one time he didn't show up at all. He will always ask to see your lesson package receipt because he forgets if you paid or not. So yes its cheap but it is not worth it.

Experiencia negativa: I got recommended the driving school by a Friend since I scheduled my driving test and wanted to get a few more lessons. I called and Jose was very short on the phone. I explained that I only wanted to take lessons since my test day was coming up and I already had a 5 hour certificate from another school. He asked to know which school and immediately shut down when I gave him the name, criticizing the school and ranting that he didn't want "anything to do with them" and basically berating me, asking "why didn't you take lessons with them"? I explained (don't even know why I bothered, really) that I have been looking everywhere to get extra lessons and many schools don't have availabilities, especially since it was last minute and my friend referred me to his school. I could tell he really didn't want to take me on as a client JUST because he didn't like the school I had my 5 hour certificate in. He was rude, hesitant, then he reluctantly gave me a price of $290 for 5 lessons!!!! Obviously, he was trying to get rid of me because the price is ridiculous. I played along and acted like I would actually agree to pay an over the top amount. Anyway. Don't know how the services are at this school, as I was basically rejected as a client FOR GETTING MY 5 HOUR CERTIFICATE AT A DRIVING SCHOOL THAT THE OWNER HATES. To be fair my friend had used the school services and obtained their drivers license BUT as far as my experience goes, they were highly unprofessional the whole interaction was unnecessarily unpleasant and a big waste of time. STAY AWAY.

Experiencia negativa: Before you decide to do business at this location, please note that this is a 0 star location for it's service, professionalism and customer service. Jose is too elderly to teach and he's extremely FORGETFUL. He's extremely unprofessional. He does not keep his scheduled appointments and does not call when he's a NO SHOW. He will reschedule and forget the next day. He called me a day before my road test and informed me that he wasn't able to make it. I missed my road test and my five hour class expired shortly after that. Please look into complaints made in the BBB before doing business with this location.

Experiencia negativa: My sister and I took classes with Jose's Driving School 2 years ago when they were still on 125th street. I'm just going to start by saying that Elba is the absolute worst "teacher" I've ever had the misfortune of taking a class with and had no redeeming qualities whatsoever. She was the rudest woman I have ever dealt with, would take phone calls during your lesson, was constantly using the brakes unnecessarily so that you never actually get to use the brakes yourself (braking more than half a block before a red light while you're going just barely under speed limit on empty streets) and would be constantly eating or snacking before, during and after lessons (not even exaggerating). The "school" was the dirtiest, most run down looking establishment I ever laid eyes on, and it's only redeeming quality was their receptionist Iris who tried her hardest to make things work despite the blundering of the owner. Maria was very nice, but because I didn't speak much Spanish there was a bit of a language barrier. That being said I have nothing bad to say about her, she was a great teacher, but we just had trouble communicating at times. I literally cannot stress enough how bad Elba was though. Its astounding that people pay money to go here and get the kind of treatment they do from her. If I could have given them 0 stars I would have, but alas, the limitations of google ratings.

This guy instead of start trying to get you into the class will start talking to you about how cool trumps daughter is. Ah, if you want classes in English you are in no luck here. And that is what you will find at the door.

Experiencia negativa: HORRIBLE SUPER BAD!. It’s the worst customer service I ever had in my life. The suppose owner is totally rude speaks to his customer in every way. He forgets everything so then u have to argue with him. So whatever payment you’re doing with him get your receipt. On top of that he had me paying for lesson and driving him to do his errands(smh). Diving him to the bank to make deposits then taking him to meet people. We was in the Bronx after the bank and this man tells me to pull over for him to take a piss in the street. He’s very rude picks up the phone doesn’t say hello or good bye he just hangs up the phone on you.I REPEAT DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE.

Experiencia fantástica: Honestly, Jose is a good instructor. He picked me up from home and when the 45 minute driving session was completed, he allowed me to drive myself home. Jose pointed out vital rules of the road during my driving sessions and on the day of the road test. I passed my road test with ease.

Experiencia negativa: Awful service. I got a vibe that this business was operating to conceal some other motive. But anyway, the lessons were horrible. One woman was very contradicting. She would say "do this, no don't do that". During my other lessons I was instructed by some man with wild hair(I don't remember his name). He had me drive him to meet someone. Yes, I am serious. I stayed in the car double parked and waited for him. Reminder: I was paying for these lessons per 45 minutes.These people are very sly or complete nut cases. Take your money some place else.

Experiencia negativa: Awful!!! Our son was taking lessons and the first instructor used profanity, and was trying to pick up women while he was teaching him. He was shouting out the car window and calling women "b's". The second teacher a woman would push her hand in his face. When I called to speak with them, the gentleman on the phone cursed me out and hung up the telephone. This is the most unprofessional school, and I am someone who has never, and refuses to write reviews unless they are positive. That being said, I will be contacting the BBB.

Experiencia negativa: i got a good deal on a package of lessons, so far had 2. my first lesson went well with MARIA! she is super patient and gives clear direction. i had my 2nd lesson today with a different woman and sad to say that i was so disappointed. She was the complete opposite of Maria- not patient, rude, disrespectful, speaks with heavily broken English and gets upset when you don't understand what she's saying. i'm giving 2 stars for now. based on my experience so far.

Experiencia positiva: I took my classes sometime ago. My instructor Maria was a bit challenging and she placed me in the middle of traffic during many of my lessons. But it was the best thing she could do. I was very nervous and had never driven before. She helped me face my fear of driving in just a few lessons. After 10 llessons I was able to pass my exam on my first attempt. I also took my 6 hour class there and got 10% off my insurance.

Experiencia negativa: The service is horrible. Everytime you go, jose himself is relaxing doing nothing and makes you wait until he's done talking about useless information. The older man instructor is horrible. You go and start ur lesson and you become his personal driver to do his errands and/or get cofffee and food. The 45 mins you pay is spent on everything but practicing how to drive from beginning to end. There's another salt and pepper haired man who screams at you when you make a mistake like if your his child. Please do not go there at all. Only go their to do the 5hr class if its convinent for you but nothing more.
