Experiencia fantástica: I found TDI after l started looking at schools due to a family tragedy. From the start I was pleased with TDI. Mike from recruiting was very informative and worked with me to get a start date. All the front office staff were friendly and helpful with getting my paperwork completed. As an Army Combat Veteran, they helped me use my GI Bill for school. Once I started the school, the training staff was by far one of the most knowledgeable group of guys Ive met. From the director of training (Bryan) to each instructor (Don, Richard, Jon). The instructors worked with my group well and my week two my group was progressing very well and you could tell in our confidence. Having chose the manual route, it was stressful at first, but Richard is a great instructor and had us “catching gears” and making turns like veteran drivers. Overall I give it a 10/10, and if you’re looking to get your CDL automatic or manual, TDI is the school for you. I left TDI excited for a new career and with some new friendships.

The Instructors know their stuff, are great with students and will help you learn the things you need to know. I highly recommend tdi Christiana for anyone.

Experiencia fantástica: Great school. If you’re thinking about getting your CDL’s TDI in Christiana, TN is the way to go. AMAZING hands-on staff that are there when you need them. Bryan, Don and Kevin strive to teach you as much as they can, in what little time they have you. My last day I didn’t even want to leave. They treat you like family. You will laugh, you will get frustrated and you may even cry but in the end everyone is very supportive to each other. Jokes will be made. Tough love is shown. The support these guys give you makes you believe in yourself even when you want to give up.

I especially learned a lot from the manual instructor Kevin about the industry and the safe operation of our truck . I would encourage anyone who wants to get there CDL to come to the school.

One of the ways that they help me during my time at TDI was making sure if I had any questions they were explained thoroughly. Experiencia fantástica: Loved the school, great teachers, very knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do. The teachers broke it all down Barney style, as I like to say it, next thing you know, I’m backing an alley dock (truck backed at a 45) without much problems. Listen to the teachers, they will get you set.

I came in knowing nothing about a semi-tractor-trailer and left knowing everything about it including how to operate one! The teachers have a great process to help students learn quickly and prepare us for what it would be like driving and making maneuvers over the road. 12/10 recommend this institute to all upcoming CDL drivers. I found out that for those of us who are “well informed” in our driving skills; be prepared to start over if you don’t have a lot of experience with trailers. However, from experience these instructors are more than patient. Listen to what they say. Don’t get upset at yourself. Be prepared for trial and error. You will then succeed!

Experiencia negativa: My instructor failed me today I didn’t get to graduate. Supervisor and recruiter brought me in there office to tell me my instructor failed me on everything driving out of 10 days I drove three times for 30 minutes, failed me on the pre-trip, failed me on the maneuvers, my instructor taught me on 2 maneuvers she said I didn’t master the offset so she wasn’t comfortable with showing me the alley dock/90 degree. But I didn’t know the protocol of the program. My instructor stated that I had 2 hrs a day on the rage, the other instructor said I had 4 hrs for two days on the rage but he couldn’t tell me how I was doing. The road trip was a trip, she said stop riding on that white line ride on the mustard line, you going to fast, go faster. I told her you make me nervous she said I make her nervous and then she threatened to put me out the truck and make me walk home. As we were at the stop light she pulled the brakes and told one of the other students to get under the wheel. This whole 3 weeks was a nightmare.

Experiencia fantástica: My experience with TDI was 10 stars. Coming from a guy who spent the last 10yrs in healthcare to wanting to switch lanes. Didn’t have any prior experience with tractor trailers I applied myself and graduated at the top of my class and passed my CDL test on the first try. Lisa, Mike and Bryan are the best and I thank them for helping me achieve my goal. CDL schools teach you how to pass the CDL test but I left after 3 weeks confident to go to any company and strive. Thank you Melissa and TDI, money well spent!!

Experiencia fantástica: This is for anybody who is interested let me give y’all the real spill: A family member took their course a while ago & I recently decided it was time for a career change. For a guy who literally had zero truck driving experience/ knowledge a few weeks ago if someone needed a load delivered or parked I can do it no sweat haha. ALL the teachers here are great! Lisa was really thorough with her explanations of things. Bryan is the TRUTH all around 10/10 (I can’t toot his horn too much his head big enough LOL)!! No question left unanswered, and what I couldn’t get from one I was able to get from the other. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to work with Mark because of policy but we’ve rubbed shoulders in passing & if nothing else he is cool as a fan! If you’re interested in driving trucks this is your sign go ahead call them! I haven’t even taken my final test yet but pass or fail I don’t regret my decision & you wont either. Roll the dice bet on yourself!

I am extremely honored and grateful for the opportunity to have earned my Commercial driver's license in this school. I definitely recommend it if you're interested in earning your CDL. Experiencia negativa: I only give one star because I needed third party testing and wasn’t told before I paid that I needed certain insurance paperwork or I wasn’t getting my money back. If I was told beforehand I would have gotten what I needed before I paid. I lost 200 dollars for nothing and I drove a total of 7 hours to and from their. Never again!!! I’ll stick with the dmv. But they were nice people I just wish I didn’t have too loose my money and time

Experiencia fantástica: I will miss this class! Thank you Jennifer for your help!!! I have enjoyed my time here and I give Ed, Denny and Harry the credit of teaching me the skills. It’s up to the students to study everyday and learn the rest. If you don’t practice “out loud” what you are learning, you will not pass. You have to say what you are doing to the tester and practice makes perfect. Be dedicated and determined. Pay attention to the instructions and be patient with yourself. Video the instructor while he does pretrip for studying. You can do it! I recommend this school and wish you the best of luck!

Experiencia fantástica: Man, TDI was very good to me. I started my Journey on July 8, 2019. 2 days later, I failed my DOT physical. They stayed in my corner, kept encouraging me. They made sure that I was going to the Doctor, doing what I was supposed to. It took me 5 months to get my health straight. They entusiastically welcomed me back. Once getting my permit, it took me 4 days to learn how to back a truck up straight. Lol. Autry (range trainer) stayed on my butt, until I got that manuever down, then walked me through the next 2, until I had them down. This was my problem area. He drilled me and drilled me. I was tired of doing it and he drilled me some more. I thank you, Sir. I thank all of you at TDI. I graduated, the beginning of January, I have 3 weeks of training left with my New employer, then Im solo. Another New driver is having some difficulties. Our New trainer told him, You should have went to the school that George went to. That is the Truth.

Experiencia negativa: 6/1/2019 This school is an absolute joke! They are out to steal your money. The instructors are a bunch of old washed up drivers who sole purpose is to collect a paycheck. They show no desire to help you an any type of way. You will find them b.s. with one another or on there phones all day, everyday. If you so dare ask for help you will be mocked an tolled they are not your training buddy's, to either continue to try on your own or get someone else in your class to help you. As if your an inconvenience to them. The recruiters are no better. They will pretend to care for the 1st week but once you've gotten your permit any other problems or questions you may have they will no longer feel the need to help you with I was told by my recruiter that after my 1st successful week they've gotten paid and now I am the driving instructors problem any all questions or concern need to be taken up with them. GOOD LUCK WITH THAT! If you have read this far I would strongly recommend that you not allow these people to steal your money! Take your loans and or your money elsewhere. I am speaking from personal experience. The only reason behind leaving this is one hopefully someone from their corporate office sees this and takes affirmative action and to it prevents any other students from going through the same struggles that I did with this program I amongst other students from my class all had the same thing to say about the teachers recruiters and a lack of training. The school was very good I got my CDL took me a extra week and I felt like they started slacking on me cause there was a much larger class following me, so I was little annoyed by that, but i came back and got it the following week and moved forward. Over all very happy with the experience I had here and smooth process with all the paper work with the office staff.

Experiencia negativa: Waste of money if it comes out of your pocket. I am sure the school is worth it if someone pays for you when you sign a contract. 5 thousand is not worth having someone read the manual for you. I had 7 hrs of on the road time with an instructor, Half of the day for 2 weeks is driving back n forth the rest of the day. Have to have 150 hrs to get their diploma. They tell you there is 18 acres to drive around on... when really it's 5 maybe 8. I did learn alot, but I didn't like be treated as if it was the military. You pay them, they don't pay you. I just wanted to get my cdl, not become a truck driver. They push you to be a truck driver. If that's what you want, great way to get a truck driving job. If you just want your cdl. Go somewhere else cheaper and more respectable. The teachers that help with the permit test are beyond great. Again 5 thousand for three weeks. 6 thousand if you have to take out a loan. Could go on about more negatives but just wasn't for me and what I wanted. In the end I did pass my driving test and got my cdl.
