Advanced Driving School had great communication and my son appreciated his instructor Nancy who taught him well. We would highly recommend ADS! Make sure your son/daughter practices a lot at home too.

Experiencia positiva: I had a great experience with this driving school right from the start. Nancy taught me important road rules I hadn’t known before, and my lessons with Crystal were enjoyable and stress-free. Thanks to their excellent instruction, I felt fully prepared for my road test and passed with ease! Although the school was a bit far from where I live, the quality of training made it well worth the trip.

Experiencia negativa: This business is terrible. DO NOT USE THEM. My wife and I (a queer couple) were harassed by a driving instructor that I presume to be the owner. I would like to report them as aggressive…they got out of the car to scold us for “cutting them off” (pulling into a rotary) and then parking in a spot 4 spaces behind them while parallel parking. This instructor exited the car during a lesson to ask if we were “dogging them” and then proceeded to berate us for parking behind them. If a driving instructor was ever exiting the vehicle to scold another driver while teaching my teen, I’d wanna know. Interacting with other drivers, especially aggressively is not at all how we should be teaching young drivers how to interact on the road. I tried to call and report the instructor, but the same person answered the phone and continued to berate me. They also followed up by text, inappropriately. I will be looking into other ways to report them. DO NOT USE THEM!!! By the way if you read other reviews, we are not the first person to have this experience.

Experiencia fantástica: I took my niece to a different driving school in the area where she completed her driving hours, but they dropped the ball on Everything else..... THANKFULLY after getting a few recommendations, I called Advanced, I have never had a better experience! Crystal is incredible, I can't express how much gratitude I have for her! She goes above and beyond for these kids, not only does she offer private lessons, but she also takes care of the entire process , including making the appointment for the road tests, and the paperwork required by the RMV. The process was easy, and believe it or not, super fast! My niece felt so comfortable driving with Crystal, and helped give her that extra boost of confidence she needed! She passed the road test! I highly recommend you call, and book with her!!!

Crystal which was the instructor that I had was great teaching everything I needed to know and she was good at teaching me how to fix my mistakes when it was needed. This is the perfect school that will teach you how to drive properly.

Nancy is amazing and insures she teaches the kids everything they will need for a successful driving test. The program costs are great, and the communication is top notch. Experiencia negativa: My experience here was very rough. I was too uncomfortable to finish just my observation hours. One younger instructor in her 50s is an impulsive liar and seems to enjoy yelling at kids and making them feel horribly about themselves and their driving. Constructive criticism is important yes, but the way she does it is just cruel and unnecessary. It tears apart kids motivation and self confidence, making them more anxious and fearful to drive. This makes the lesson more dangerous as if you are in a state of serious anxiety or fear it isn’t safe to drive but she is convinced this is an important “learning tactic” to “make the kids less sensitive to criticism”. She also spends most of the lesson on her phone, or with her eyes closed, and was very likely high which was extremely inappropriate. She also had religious music playing the whole time, which should not be happening due to it being a distraction to learning drivers (during the class portion of this school they told us that we shouldn’t have music playing while we were learning to drive as it is a distraction so that is very contradictory). She was also watching political videos while we were in the car which was very inappropriate as well. Not to mention the way they reply to negative reviews just proves the point of the reviewers. The other younger one working there loves to randomly scream at kids during the classes, for absolutely no reason. The business is run by a mother and her two daughters, and the two daughters are extremely rude, unprofessional, and specialize in verbally attacking kids who are trying to learn. If you want your children to actually learn how to drive and learn in a safe manner, choose somewhere else to send them. This one is not the place. The mom is cool though.

My daughter is clinically anxious and on the spectrum and had worked with a previous instructor elsewhere and was completely discouraged and gave up on learning to drive. Crystal worked so hard with her and was so so patient. She seems to really care that her students do well. I highly recommend Crystal and Advanced Driving School, my other two children will without a doubt be going there!!!!

Nancy has been so patient with my teenage daughter and really took the time to teach her the maneuvers e.g. parallel parking, 3 point turn etc. Thanks to Nancy, my daughter is a better driver! My son went through the school recently (and my older son a few years ago) and believes that Crystal is the reason his skills are at the level they are and that he was so prepared for his exam. Experiencia fantástica: I took a private driving class and rented a car from the Advanced Driving School prior to taking the road test. My instructor was effective and informative. I felt much better prepared for my road test after taking the lesson. The whole process was hassle-free and easy, I highly recommend them. I passed my test!

Experiencia fantástica: Hey it’s Matt. Crystal and Nancy are so great and all they want is for you to get your license safely and make sure you are all good to be on the road by yourselves. The drivers ed is straight forward and not too long. During drive times, crystal/nancy do an amazing job of teaching you the rights/wrongs on the road. I wouldn’t be where i’m at right now if it wasn’t for crystal and her experience of teaching the young how to drive safely. i’m now a professional parallel parker too ( I guess I could say ) . They helped me go from very a beginner driving experience level to passing my road test on the first try. I drove with Nancy for the majority of my lessons and she was awesome! She's a great teacher, very patient, and really knows how to help you become a better driver. I couldn't have done it without her! All her little tips/secrets really helped me learn and drive better. Thankful I found them! Would highly recommend to teens or adults!

Experiencia negativa: Staff was rather rude, made me feel uneasy and nervous while driving. Felt rushed, as they seemed they didn't want to be there. Flexibility for scheduling is poor. One of the instructors were constantly on their phone while I drove. They handled your mistakes in a poor manner, as said making you nervous. As I've seen from others some kids are uneasy with one of the instructors, of course they deal with it unprofessionally by arguing or getting overly defensive. The problem is that they're family so they are very biased, so no action is taken

They are very friendly and great teachers with lots of knowledge about driving. They accommodate very well and will help you grow as a driver. Experiencia fantástica: My son got his license yesterday at the Plymouth RMV, after failing the test on one of the "islands". Nancy could not have been a better sponsor for him. She arrived at our meeting spot early to give him more practice time with the car, was very encouraging, and very helpful for me explaining the details of how the test would go. Since we were coming from out of town, she texted with me regularly (not while I was driving :). She was great and my son really liked her. Plus, after the test we were lucky the RMV was empty!
