Experiencia positiva: I'll give Sharon Defensive driving a 4 for now, since it has such great reviews. My 20yr old son signed up for the 14hr class, paid and went to his 1st class. When he called to see when he return for the next class, it was a whole month away. That is insane to me. Maybe it'll work out, idk....we shall see.

Miss Tee was my driver instructor..I'm so grateful i had her..she's a wonderful person and she's been so patience throughout the entire time.. The owner Miss Sharon and the staff Miss Carol and Miss Val were all friendly and so so nice and helpful.. Thank y'all so much!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I would DEFINITELY recommend this school to anyone in need of their license. The theory aspect of the course was well delivered. For the practical aspect of the course my instructor was extremely patient with me and very relaxed even though I was nervous to start driving. Initially I never felt I could pass my road test and get my license, but my instructor worked with me step by step through my weaknesses and "brought me to the finish line".

Experiencia fantástica: I went here b/c I had received a ticket and I wanted it to stay off my insurance. Mrs. Sharon and her crew are amazing, I love their spirit and attitudes. They have a way of making you feel welcome and she doesn't make anything a money issue if anything this is where you want to be if you need help. She and her crew has a way of teaching so you won't never forget and the class was fun. I promise I'm not making this up. Keep up the good work!

Experiencia negativa: This school is very deceptive. The people seem nice at first until the 2nd day of the 8-hour driving course. I went to this school 2 years ago and passed the written test. 1st day of of the 8 hour driving, I had a kind gentleman. I had never driven before, but he said I did a good job. However, the next time I had a rude gentleman. He yelled at me, made me nervous, then asked me what my problem was. At the end of my 2nd 4 hours he had me drive him over to a check cashing place and then told me I was a bad driver and needed more driving time. But look at God I passed the driving portion with Sharon herself. Overall, I believe that if you are an adult that has never driven before, this is NOT the school to choose.

The environment is very friendly and clean. Mrs Sharon herself is very honest and her favorite word is Amen. If I had to do it all again I would just to be around her happy spirit. Call her first don't be shy your first step of driving start there.

Experiencia fantástica: I was so very pleased from day one with Ms. Sharon. My daughter absolutely loves her. She has a very gentle, motherly way about her, but won't put up with any lip either! Great lady, great school. One thing I really loved is that she will not take more than 15 or so students per class. She wants to make sure that she is able to relate to them personally. No overcrowding here. Very fairly priced and she goes through everything and meets with the parents on the first day to make sure that you, as a parent know what to expect. Also, my daughter made a 90% on the first day practice written test. She's a great teacher! Very thankful I went with my gut and picked Sharon's above all the busy, busy schools. She is a smaller fish in the driver's ed market, but don't make the mistake of passing her by! Thanks for treating my daughter so well Ms. Sharon! :) Beth Funk

Experiencia positiva: Did its job in terms of getting you started on the road, but if looking for a place that will treat you more politely is easily possible - like mentioned in another review, her personality is very unappealing and rude. My name was pronounced incorrectly during the entire week course as well. As for learning, it's simply opening a book and reading for yourself, with few instructional videos that will get you educated for the driving world. If you're on a tight budget, this place is fine, but in retrospect, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

Experiencia positiva: Sharon has a good business surrounded by Christian values. Her tutors/instructors are all very supportive and encouraging. However, I knocked a star off because Sharon's attitude can be too much; almost as if she has no people skills. I will get into that in a moment. The driving school building will fool you because it looks a little out of place. Inside, you will see church pews. The interior really does not look all that great, which really worried me into thinking I was probably not in the right place. I was an adult and took the 6 hour course for $50. Here, you are taught as a class (with others) about driving, signs, road conditions, weather, etc and will see a few videos. Afterward, you take a test and they hold your information until you complete the 8 hour behind-the-wheel part, but they will let you have your test so you can study that. REALLY, study that test. The driving part is $300. After you pass your 8-hour driving part (which they break into two days 4 hours each), they give you your certificate. If you don't want to take the driving part at the DMV, Sharon will let you take it with her for $30. I think with the DMV, you have to use your own car. But with Sharon, she will provide you with a car. This driving test is only 8 minutes. If you pass the driving part, she will give you your results in an envelope. Take that to the DMV where they will have you take your written (multiple choice) test. If you pass that, Viola! You got your licence. So, I went through all this and got it successfully. Her business is not a scam. Now, as far as Sharon's demeanor around people, she comes off to me as very snappy person. She does not have any patience when it comes to correcting someone or explaining further about something that someone did not understand. She's easily annoyed; agitated maybe, and I've seen this side of her so many times. I hated the way she spoke to an older female worker that was probably a receptionist. I had come up there a few times to see this receptionist having some problems and probably needed a little guidance. Sharon can be pretty arrogant, and there were many times with me that she was just impulsive when I've never initiated any kind of trouble with her. Even when I signed up for the $30 part, I was dreadful of her being my driving inspector because I knew how her attitude was. And boy, when that time came, I KNEW I was right. The experience with her was so bad that she literally, made my stomach upset. She didn't know how to properly and politely correct me if I was doing something wrong. And she just made me doubt my ability to drive when I felt fine before. In some situations, she's very nice and encouraging, but her attitude can be very dreadful and repulsive. If you're going to own or run a business, be kind to your customers. Act like you're grateful they're coming to your business when they really could have picked another driving school, even if it was more expensive. While she was my driving inspector, Oooo boy, there a few words I'd love to tell her. But I kept calm and just wanted to show respect. She made that experience awful, and I will always be a little bitter by the way she chose to handle my mistakes. I consider myself a decent and considerate human being, and I did not deserve that kind of behavior at all. But just keep your mouth shut and do what you're supposed to do. You'll never see this woman again after you pass. But overall, she has a VERY good business.
