Experiencia fantástica: This was the most informative class ever!!! I made a high risk choice and had 1 drink (which now I know has 2 drinks inside) and was pulled over! This class has taught about values and better choice! I grew to love my instructor Danielle Stevenson because she is the most relatable instructor I’ve ever had since middle school! She is NON- judgement which made me and my classmates comfortable with opening up about our personal situations! She teaches from the book but add in real life stories that made me become more aware of my life choices! I believe this class should be for everybody! Even the ones that do not have DUI’s but for some to understand their choices before the mistake! I thoroughly enjoyed this class!

Experiencia fantástica: My 3 day class experience by far exceeded my expectations. The class setting was welcoming and accepting no matter the circumstances of your case. Mrs.Stevenson was beyond knowledgeable of the dangers related to drunk driving based off personal experiences. Through “Prime” coursework and her own experiences she made the class informative and engaging. Overall I would 10/10 recommend anyone dealing with charges related to alcohol to enroll in this course.

Experiencia fantástica: I was a participate of this family violence program, after being in this program for a long and hard 24 weeks it taught me how to take accountability for my actions. Although, I was court ordered to be in this program, I grew to love attending class sessions: I often craved them. This family violence program allowed me freedom to express myself and be heard. I’ve become more comfortable opening up with about my feelings, understanding my emotions, and understanding my role in every event that plays out in my life. I really suggest you attend this group, it gives family vibes more than group therapy. I would like to give accolades to the staff, they are very helpful and supportive, big shout outs to Mr and Mrs. Stevenson!

She is very relatable and very understanding. Throughout the entirety of my process she has been the most memorable and cost effective part. She’s also super flexible with her time. She does a lot more than what meets the eye and covers way more than I could even put into words. I would definitely recommend her to anyone in any situation throughout life. Surprisingly, I found that there were many other people dealing with similar issues. Mr/Mrs Stevenson collectively have built a culture that emphasizes respect for others and yourself, positive self-talk, healthy coping strategies, healthy communication in relationships (personal/professional), integrity, personal accountability and responsibility. This organization is recommended for all individuals regardless of culture or background that are seeking personal growth and development. Recovery Education Counseling Services teaches how to deal with many of life's unforeseen circumstances in healthy ways. I am grateful for the positive impact they've had on my life. Myself and many others have taken monumental steps away from anger, addiction and violence; these traits do not serve us and jeopardize ourselves and those around us. These negative traits can also be a form of learned behavior from past experiences. It is our responsibility to learn new HEALTHY traits in efforts to break the cycles of generational trauma, even if these cycles were not previously broken for us. I'm a Navy veteran who has been dealing with anger issues for many years and got exhausted from dealing with the consequences of my financial losses. I was taking classes because of an altercation I had at home. That was an eye opener for me. I learned different anger control plan and so far, I feel better dealing with the world around me.

Experiencia fantástica: I am currently and have been enrolled in RECS for family violence prevention for about 3 and a half months now. Every class is a great learning experience , whether I am learning how to mentally and emotionally handle future situations better and understanding the psychological damage I have caused to myself and others. This class has helped me characterize and break down many of the toxic traits that have caused significant harm to my life but most importantly how to recognize these behaviors and key strategies on how to better handle myself in any relationship or friendship …thank you , Mrs. Stephenson , I sincerely appreciate all your help.
