Experiencia negativa: This is a dreadful driving program, consistently behind schedule. They are disrespectful of your time, and they are terrible instructors. Don't waste your time or money with them. Update: Rather than trying to help improve my experience with the organization they decided not to work with me at all. The man I spoke to directly referenced my review as a reason not to work with me. They offered me a $100 refund for the last two lessons. Which is nothing compared to what I will pay to move driving schools. A standup organization would have worked to improve my opinion to change my review. Again… don't waste your time or money with them.

Experiencia negativa: I'm not sure where the 5 stars are coming from because it is hard to believe that a place like this deserves anything more than one star. If you want to avoid multiple headaches then AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST! From the very beginning as soon as my payment went through that is when the problems began. Dan their receptionist or whoever he is, had trouble communicating with me but no issues communicating with my husband. This was almost every single time that I had any interaction with him. Just frustrating. Not sure if he is just very sexist or what. Dan was just plain rude at all times. No customer service manners at all. I chose them because of their location (which turned out was no longer their current location. They had moved and hadn't updated their information on their website. Couldn't cancel because I had just paid and there are NO REFUNDS even though that was THEIR MISTAKE). The driving teacher Rafael, was nice according to my son but we'll leave it at that. My son wanted to take his road test with them because he felt comfortable taking it there rather than at the DMV so they charged us the $100 but the morning of test, it's an hour later and my son was still waiting to take his test. Delays were due to my husband having to rush to go find cash to PAY AN EXTRA $40 FOR A PIECE OF PAPER where he made ONE MISTAKE. Transposed a number and that cost EVEN MORE MONEY and DELAYED my son's test AN HOUR AND 15 MIN more than his scheduled time. Both my husband and son said that Dan was rude with them too while they were there. Needless to say, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! THIS PLACE IS NOT WORTH THE HASSLE.

Experiencia negativa: My son took a driving test with the slowest, mansplaining, disrespectful mouthpiece any place of employment could possibly hire. This guy LOVES hearing himself talk. He wouldn't be an hour behind schedule and wouldn't overlook details if he would just stop talking.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a really good experience with Courtesy Driving school. Ms.Nina was really good and understanding and I am more confident to drive now. I cleared my driving test too.

Experiencia fantástica: Prior to enrolling with this school, i was extremely nervous to drive and didn’t think i could do it. But Mr Rafeal exercised so much patience with me and made me feel more confident in my driving abilities. I remember on my first day we had to do some breathing exercises, that’s how nervous i was! He is a very knowledgeable instructor with a calm demeanor. Thank you Courtesy!

Experiencia positiva: In all honesty it was a little hard to schedule classes in the beginning since they wouldn’t always answer the phone whenever you would call. When we look past that, Rafael one of the instructors, taught me a lot of useful things to use on the road and overall made me more confident and comfortable with my driving. He made the mood very fun loving and we always had a good time in our lessons.

Experiencia negativa: Very tardy, unprofessional, no sense of time and commitments. Phone calls always going to voicemail, no set timings for the office! No one person who can be reached in case of an issue. Classic signs of unprofessional workplaces. Always late and sometimes don't even show up for the class. Save your money, effort and time and DO NOT sign up with them!

Experiencia fantástica: Both of my children got driving instruction and road test from Courtesy Driving. They are so helpful and gave us all the details to be successful. They picked up my driving students at the house. We appreciated all the assistance and patience with the new drivers and they were not super expensive.

Experiencia negativa: Basically the same experience as everyone else. Paid almost $400 for three rides. Ten months after I paid I have still only been able to complete two rides. They are now trying to charge another $40 because they are saying I missed an appointment but no one ever scheduled the appointment with me. Very disappointing service. It has been a nightmare experience just scheduling and getting in contact with someone for the first two appointments. Take your business elsewhere. They are rude and now trying to scam me out of more money.

Very messy and unprofessional. This does not seem to be proper business/company with a regular services. Quite strange overall and very disappointed. I asked for a cancellation and refund.

Experiencia negativa: Awful place, poor communication skills from staff and there is a problem with them answering the phone, I was there with a lady when she wanted to pick her son up after class and since the entrance in not open due to COV the lady read and followed the instructions posted at the door, she called the 2 phone numbers and nobody answered plus the phone kept beeping but no opportunity to leave a message. After a while a lady finally opened the door (not a lunch hour) and she said she did not answered because she was at lunch. Well the worst thing was that this person did not know where the student was and had no intention on helping the mother of the student. Have not seen this kind of rudeness and lack of customer service in a long time!

Experiencia negativa: Parents of teens -- do NOT do business with Courtesy Driving School on Kingsland and Mason. After enrolling and paying for behind the wheel training, they called and said the the price we paid online was incorrect and the price was actually 10% higher. They scheduled us anyway, but called a few minutes later trying to collect the rest of the money. When I refused and pointed out what their website charges, she said it was okay. Then called a few minutes later saying she had talked to her manager and they were going to cancel all of the scheduled lessons and refund our money. NOT the way to do business!!!

Now I understand it’s also unfair for u guys to have make extra time for this kid. But, then lower the fee down to 5 a day because ur just adding them to another class.

Experiencia negativa: $105 for road test and you only get one chance? You still have to go to DPS for license so do yourself a favor and pay $25 for 3 chances on the road test at a DPS office. Courtesy driving school has a disgusting restroom with a broken toilet seat and lid and a front desk person who tried to charge me $4 to print a certificate after I already paid $325 for 4 hour worthless lessons and $105 for the one chance road test.

Experiencia positiva: I just wanted to thank Mr Rodriguez for being such a great teacher! I passed my exam thanks to you, I'll definitely recommend this. However, there has to be some changes in administration, I was told i was gonna get a call back and the lady said she wrote down my phone number and everything and then she never called me.

Experiencia negativa: Perfect (teacher and instructor wise) and would recommend for the teachers and all in car driving instructors, but management was horrible. everything was unorganized and prices would change almost every month and they mostly increase by 10 bucks a month I have spend over $140 dollars on late fees and most of them were their fault. They need to replace the lady in the front due to her extreme rude behavior and attitude. And when I was there for my drivers test the person I made an appointment said 7:30 am but it turns out that they only take appointments after 8:00 am. I came before the time and while I was waiting, I saw the front desk lady going in and opening the door. Once i reached the entrance of the school she locked the door on me. I know she saw me because I was right in front of her, she looked up and then looked back on her phone. Then she proceeded to go to the back of the school. I was waiting outside for 5 minutes until she went back to her desk. I was knocking but she wouldn't even look up, I knew she heard me. I went back to the car and waited until Mr.Rodriguez arrived in his car. I talked to him he was apologetic and went to talk to her. I had to get something from the car and then proceeded to enter the school. I heard yelling and they were yelling at each other blaming each other for not putting it on whatever they put schedules on. Then she TOLD ME JUST THEN that they open at 8:00 am and they don't open their doors before then. SHE COULD HAVE TOLD ME EARLIER WHEN I WAS WAITING OUTSIDE AND KNOCKING ON THE DOOR FOR LIKE 15 MINUTES. But anyways I forgot my DE papers (My Fault) so we scheduled another appointment which I had to pay $25 for because I felt bad for my dad and technically they were late because the appointment was at 7:30 and I came early so I had to wait 50 minutes, so it was their fault technically and also my fault so technically I could have left and not pay the fee. I was furious but my dad stopped me and I paid the stupid fee. In the other appointment I failed (My Fault.. stupid mistake) but when we wanted to make another appointment she charged me $50 I asked why, because when I paid over the phone, the guy on the phone said it is 4 tries for 75 dollars and I really don't know why they charged me 25 one day and 50 another day. I told her about it and she said "this is not the dps we don't give out tries, how else would we make money". I wanted to yell at her petty fake sympathetic face, but I calmed myself down and my dad paid the fee. Do not take a test here... Their teachers deserve a better place mr .Staton and the tall teacher who always wears a polo and shorts and also Mr. Rodriguez deserve a better place to teach than this dump. I would only recommend the teachers here. And the only thing I appreciate about the new management is that they removed all the bad teachers and cars thats it. Btw the front desk lady cannot manage and organize anything. One time I had to wait in line for 12 minutes as well as the person in front of me that only wanted a stamp for the times on his daughters permit papers, she was on two calls while we were waiting in the line and I know for sure their phones have a hold option. After the calls were done, she told the man that she could not do many things at once. If she couldn't handle a two person line and a phone call then she does not deserve to be in the front desk .Overall I think the lady ... I think her name is Luna needs to leave for a while. She is unprofessional, unorganized, and petty and that gives off Courtesy driving school a bad rep. Btw the front desk lady manages all the google comments and many of them are fake (look at the two new reviews they are basically the same review except with different users) If they delete it it also means that they own the accounts. It is really easy to give a good review to your business but she does it bad. Most of these are easily distinguishable.( I have posted some photos with proof of fake reviews)

Experiencia negativa: Not sure if I can have confidence and sign up for classes. The one star comments are making me uncomfortable. I have visited them and left my contact information. I was told that I will get a call back within an hour but never did. I called few days ago the lady on the phone doesn't seem professional. She rather talk than listen. Then her computer crashed and instructed me to go their website to register. I ended up reading reviews.

Experiencia negativa: If I could give 0 stars, I would. I signed up for a "Behind-The-Wheel" lesson with them, scheduled for 12:00pm-2:00pm (2 hours) for $110. At 12:00pm, I called and spoke to a lady that informed me that the driver is probably on their way, and that she would call him to fin out where he is and then she would call me back. She NEVER called me back. HOW UNPROFESSIONAL COULD THEY FURTHER BE?? I then called twice between 12:30 and 1:15 and went straight to voicemail. At around 1:50, someone else finally returned my calls, having no idea of the situation. We spoke. He called back around 2:00 saying there was miscommunication. I pay them $110 dollars and NO ONE show ups? Whomever I spoke with on the phone was also cutting me off and saying if 30 minutes of extra driving time cannot please me, then he does not know what to do. Then he continues to tell me that they are human and thy make mistakes. Oh my gosh. DO NOT SERVICE THIS COMPANY. They are a WASTE OF TIME and until I receive my refund, a WASTE OF MONEY.

Experiencia negativa: My instructor was nice and said I was completely ready to pass the road test, however he also warned about Jose. He is very strict and does not care about people. My instructor taught another girl who drove "perfectly" he said. But Jose failed her because she was "too close" to a truck and had to move her steering wheel. He failed her over one thing, and did the exact same thing to me. There was a parked truck in this neighborhood, I saw that it took up a little more than half the lane, so logically I slightly move over enough to the other lane so I wouldn't hit it. Then suddenly he jumps and pushes my steering wheel to the left and fails me for it. He has terrible acting, he said "oh you took my breath away, be grateful I moved the steering wheel." I knew I wasn't going to hit it, I know how spacious my car is, I am upset he can still work here. It is as if they only want your money, they want you to waste more money to take it again. How he acted was wrong and deceptive, I do not like how he handles things or acts, he is the equivalent to a "backseat driver". He did not show me my overall score or anything in that matter, only failed me. I am not upset about failing but I am upset how he can say anything and anything I say is discredited. I highly suggest not taking your test here, go to the DPS, it is much easier and cheaper. If you don't want to lose money and your time, do not take it here.

Experiencia positiva: If you need to learn how to drive, Courtesy Driving School is a place that can teach you how to drive. My driving instructor thought my name was Freddy until I would hand him my permit at the end of the session everyday.

Experiencia fantástica: the instructors are very nice , joke a little but not to the point where its offensive . they teach you a lot , and just want you to not be shippels , like most people in mason . 1/2 people , 1/2 sheep . loved it !

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT use COURTESY DRIVING SCHOOL for your kids to take DRIVERS ED. DO NOT. They have lied about driving times (signed off on hours not completed) and left my son standing on the sidewalk in front of their locked business more than once. Not safe just doors down from a heavily visited bar. When brought to the owners attention, he told my son he should have just gone and sat in a nearby fast food restaurant. How would I have found him then? When it happened the second time, the owner said he talked to his attorneys and he is only responsible for the kids in the classroom or in the car, but as soon as they exit, they are their parents responsibility. And then he said, "Thanks, bye" and hung up on me. If I sign him up to drive with them from 545-745 and he is left at the curb at 645, with no notification at all, how does he become my responsibility? The owner is not concerned about the safety of the kids at all. It is a simple conversation with your drivers and a few minutes of their time to wait with kids when THEY CHOOSE to end the sessions early. Seriously. As a teacher, sometimes I have conversations with my students about things not directly related to math (college, study habits, organization). Is it my job to do that? No. It is simply in the best interest of the kids. He clearly does not give 2 ____ about the kids and THAT is what makes me angry.
