We also love Ms Pat. She was the driving instructor for all three of my children and they all adored her. Overall excellent experience x 3!

Experiencia fantástica: I took a total of 6 driving lessons as a beginner with no prior driving experience. Each lesson was incredibly helpful, and I gained more confidence with every session. All the instructors were professional and excellent at their job. I also took the driving test, which felt very easy thanks to the thorough preparation provided during the lessons. I highly recommend this program to first-time driving learners!

Not only did she help me consider it was time to take my test and assured me it was time and built my confidence but she also was the best front desk chick I've ever met or experienced. The front desk ladies in general have been so warm and kind and always friendly and very helpful. You want an amazing experience driving for the first time or even just brushing up on your skills? COME HERE AND ONLY HERE!!!!!!!!! second, ask for miss Lupe, she was my main instructor and she was so patient and hard working with me. She taught me how to be confident and ease into my skills. She was the only instructor in my life I can honestly say is so helpful in every way. She eases your nerves by small talk but also guiding in a motherly way. I JUST WANT TO SAY AGAIN, HOW THANKFUL AND GRATEFUL AND BLESSED I AM for such a wonderful experience here. Never did I feel like this place was too pricy, in fact its very AFFORDABLE, WELL ORGANIZED, SUPPORT IS AMAZING and the ladies who run the desk and scheudling will always keep you informed and well equipped to know your next move. Jazmin was very sweet to me and helped me a lot with this journey. in fact, I wouldn't be where I am today if it weren't for Miss Lupe and Jazmin those ladies deserve a raise and bonuses and lots of love and shoutouts!!!!!!!!! I am beyond thrilled to say I choose HDS this location to be my driving school and spent my own personal money with them. They train you so well and never let you feel like you can't do something in fact they are constantly reassuring you. CHOOSE THIS SCHOOL AND ONLY THIS SCHOOL!!!!!!! Experiencia fantástica: My overall experience with Houston Driving School has been positive! At the front desk, Xitlally and Jazmin were able to answer all of my questions in a timely manner and made scheduling and re-scheduling appointments very straightforward. After completing both the three lessons included in the adult driver's complete package and six additional sessions, I signed up for the road test and passed on my first attempt. I can very confidently parallel park! Prior to these lessons, I had never operated a motor vehicle. My best advice for anyone taking these lessons is to play an active role in your instruction: ask questions, ask for clarifications, request feedback, determine which skills you want to practice during the session, and consider what will be on the licensing exam. All of my driving lessons, except one of them, have been with Ms. Lupe. I have nothing but praise for this instructor! She has continuously given me tips on my driving and suitably prepared me for the licensing exam. Ms. Lupe is very personable and has eased much of my anxiety while driving with some lighthearted conversations regarding my career, education, and family. As I feel that an earlier review misrepresented Ms. Lupe's character, I must state that on no occasion has our conversation during instruction ever been inappropriate. She is exceedingly thoughtful and always kind! As I had some difficulty with oversteering, she drew an image of a clock on a piece of paper so as to demonstrate the initial and final hand positions on the wheel during turns. She was happy to offer pick-up and drop off from my address when convenient. When she dropped me off at my townhouse, she guided me through parking in my driveway, a notoriously difficult task for even experienced drivers, particularly when considering location of other cars and tight spacing.

Experiencia negativa: The front desk ladies Xitlally and Jazmin were very friendly and helpful. They answered all my questions and made scheduling very easy. They always answered my emails within a few minutes, which is impressive since many driving schools aren't like that! However, I had different expectations when it came to the driving lessons. I would've liked there to be more focus on driving tips as we were driving instead of my instructor (Ms. Lupe) talking about her personal life the majority of the time, it didn't seem professional to me. I would rather not be asked personal questions and talk about random and sometimes inappropriate topics when I'm trying to learn how to drive. I would have also wanted to learn methods on how to do things like making turns but I felt like I did a lot of things without much guidance. Also, I paid extra to get picked up and dropped off, but in every lesson she would say that having to do that was a "waste of time". I understand that driving to and from my location takes up time, but I paid extra to do it so I feel like I shouldn't have received judgement for it. I chose this school because they're cheaper than most, but I would've liked for my driving instructor to be more assertive, confident, and professional. I recommend purchasing one lesson first to see if you like her teaching style.

She was patient, calm, and she always delivered her instructions clearly and consistently. She was encouraging and made him feel at ease. Josue highly recommends her to all future students! Experiencia fantástica: I took the adult driving class this past weekend and was impressed with my Instructor, Ms. Lupe. This class was a mix of English and Spanish speaking adults. Ms. Lupe was able to explain the material in one language then switch and share the same material in the other language. Not a lot of individuals can do this and cover all the material in six hours. Great job Ms. Lupe!

Experiencia negativa: I do not recommend this school. The inspecting Ms. Pamela was a very rude person. He was a very negative person. speaks harshly, frown . These elements affect your driving. I did not like. I will never choose this school.

Experiencia negativa: My rating is not for my driving instructor Ms. Lupe who was AMAZING but for Pamela Dixon. I had a road test schedule with Pamela Dixon and while I arrived early to take it and was waiting in the waiting area, Ms. Dixon called last minute to cancel the driving test with no explanation. I was disappointed because It took 35 mins for me to arrive at the location just to be told that the road test will not be done. I took my road test with another driving school (5 stars 77091 area if anyone is interested) after a driving refresher and aced it with them.

She is very patient and knowledgeable, and her lessons prepared me well for the road test. I would recommend taking lessons with her, especially if you have not been driving for very long. I did my road test with Ms. Dixon, who is also very professional and knowledgeable. Overall, would recommend HDS for driving practice or the road test.
