Experiencia fantástica: My daughter had her 2nd driving appointment with Allstate Driving School today. Her instructor was Solaiman and she was very pleased with his ability to answer her questions and his guidance during the 2 hours on the road. Highly recommend this driving school for professionalism, scheduling, and great instructors.

Experiencia positiva: My two bookings (one 2hr lesson, one DMV drive test) were not so pleasant. I ended up irritated both times because of the way my instructor (same person) would repeatedly disregard my questions, and answer and teach in a patronizing way. She only mentioned SMOG at the very end of the lesson on the first time, when it was my first time driving. I would have been confused had I not watched tons of Youtube videos prior to my driving lesson. That is, her delivery was not well-organized in a practical manner. When I asked her questions like, why the headlight stick is on "high beam" when we only need headlights on because it was foggy, she didn't even try to understand my question saying that it's not important because it won't be on the test. Overall, I did not feel respected. And she treated earnest, totally fair questions, badly. And I suggest that the driving school make it a clear policy that if the instructor is late on time, they make up for however late they were, no matter the reason. The first time my instructor was 10 minutes late and tried to end "on time". (I kept asking questions so we did end up filling 2hrs.) The woman consultant/customer service's response was also annoying when I called out of worry when my instructor was late after waiting 5 min, cause she was like "You should be patient". Again, also, in a patronizing attitude. Really, that is no way to answer a customer. (The man consultant was always professional and nice though. Thank you for that.) My instructor also repeatedly blamed me for giving the wrong pickup address even though it is Google maps's fault that they don't have all of the building numbers correctly, and I purposely made an effort to give the school an address that did show up & match on the app. One should try to understand the situation before blaming their client. Plus, they should have called me if they had trouble finding me. I guess the experience differs greatly depending on which instructor you get. Mine really did not vibe with me.

Experiencia negativa: Really poor experience with this school. I had booked a drivers test, and the instructor seemingly did not know the rules and stepped out of the car before the examiner could arrive while in line for the test. The DMV manager told her that’s against the rules and did not let me take the test, and I had to reschedule to a month later. Their attitude after the incident was also very unprofessional - both the instructor and the owner tried to divert blame towards me or the DMV for the incident. They might be good teachers but I do not recommend using their services for the drivers test.

Experiencia fantástica: I would recommend Allstate Driving School for anyone who is trying to learn, teenagers or adults!! I moved from the big city and didn't think I would ever need to learn how to drive. I had 4 lessons with Mayela and she was the best instructor I could ever ask for!! She catches all your bad habits before you even make the mistake, and explains in a way that's easy to understand and calm while you're driving. I felt safe and felt like I improved after every lesson. I took my test last week and passed first try!!! I only got two points docked off. Not only did she prepare me for my test, I also felt comfortable driving by myself just after the 4 lessons, and just did my first solo ride. I didn't think I'd ever be able to learn, but Mayela was patient and so informative. I could not have done it without her!!

We were assured that Allstate had an instructor who knew how to work with an adult who had never driven. We were not disappointed. She passed her driving test on her first try with confidence. Experiencia fantástica: Amanda was amazing and is probably the reason I passed my driving exam. I used their driving exam service and she spent some time before my exam to go through SMOG and other tips on my driving skills. I can honestly say I would not have passed without her!

Experiencia negativa: I was extremely disappointed with the instructors behavior she is so rude, arrogant and was yelling at me confused me and made me loose confidence. I was nervous after her session When I complained about the instructor they are not accepting about it. She didn’t help me pass the test instead she scared me with her raising voice.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a really good experience with this driving school. I was in a bad accident a couple years ago and found it really difficult and was scared to drive after that. I took 6 lessons with Josh. He is a really good instructor and helped me find the confidence to drive. I passed my driving test the first time at Clairemont DMV. I totally recommend this driving school.

Experiencia negativa: I am so disappointed in this driving school. We had an appt for 3:30 and no one showed up. I get it mistakes happen and the lesson got overlooked. But when the owner called me she immediately blamed the instructor instead of taking accountability for her business. I wasn't upset. lust explained to her that if I had cancelled the appointment they would have charged me $168 so how does that work for me? I wasn't expecting anything but I wanted her to understand that is not a great way to treat your customers it makes it seem like our time is not valuable. She didn't like what I had to say and told me that she wouldn't do business with me. That's ok. I will go elsewhere. The instructor called me after the fact and was very sweet and apologetic and I told her that it was a mistake and wished her a good day. I NEVER asked for a free lesson. I used your policy as an example. We had been sitting outside for a half hour and at first you DID NOT apologize. You blamed your instructor and the whole time vou never took accountability for your business and you were yelling at me the whole time when I was calm and kept telling you I was not even upset. I kept asking you why are you treating your customers like this it's not a good business model. As I said your instructor did call me AFTER you said you wouldn't do business with me. Why would I give you money after you were so rude to me on the phone. Is that a joke? You still don't get it. When you yell at people who are going to pay you for a service yelling at them and putting the blame on other people IS NOT GOOD BUSINESS. I am not even upset. I never was. You yelling and being rude on the phone is the reason for the review and you alone. Do you get that yet?

My DMV test was at the Norco DMV who have a VERY low pass rate, they’re notorious for failing for subjective mistakes. I was very nervous during the test but I passed on my first try! Experiencia negativa: This is the worst customer experience I have ever had! The lady doing the scheduling is rude and unfriendly. I have called to schedule a 10-hr package with them and a driving test booking. I was surprised on my first class to be told that I will have different instructors during my course. While my instructor was very professional, the general experience with the administration is overwhelmingly negative. When I called to ask to change that, the scheduling lady was shouting at me and was very rude. She told me that I can only have one more class and hung up the phone on me. I don’t recommend doing business with them

Experiencia fantástica: I had nothing but a wonderful experience with this driving school. I was nervous to start driving at 33, but I LOVED, loved, loved having classes with Janelle. She is an absolute treasure. Janelle is not only the most patient person and has a great attitude, but she always gives very clear and very helpful corrections and advice. I am a much better driver thanks to her!

Experiencia negativa: I don't recommend this driving school 10/10, unless you don't mind waste your money. · The vehicle they use is EXTREMELY dirty inside. · The coach cough and sneeze in the car without turning head or cough in the elbow. · The coach does not let you practice all the examination routes. · The coach insisted on practicing the examination on course 1, while the actual exam is the entirely different route. · The instructions are not clear, the coach talks rubbish and sometimes play cellphone during the practice. · For new drivers, if you made a mistake on the road, they’ll mock you instead of tell you about the correct details patiently.

Experiencia negativa: I called to schedule my son's first appointment because he was getting his permit the next day. I was hoping for something in the next week, but the owner said they had nothing available and that I first needed him to have the permit to schedule. I asked her if she could just schedule it anyway, sine he would sure pass it before the next 10 days when she had her first availability. She raised her voice at me and called me a spoiled brat and started mocking me for asking a simple question. I then asked for a full refund as I would not do business with anyone that behaved this way. She told me no refund that I would have to dispute with my credit card company. This was a horrible experience and the owner was rude from the moment she answered the phone.

Experiencia fantástica: I had driving lesson from Kelly today. She was very punctual, patient, friendly and helpful. I already have a licence from a different country. So only took a 3 hour lesson just before my behind the wheel test today and in that 3 hours I have learned a ton. There were many rules which I would have missed if it was not for her. She made me do few maneuvers like curb side parking and reverse again and again till I achieved the perfection. The 5 star review is just for Kelly. If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't have passed today's behind the wheel test in POWAY DMV. She drives a 2017 Honda Civic Touring which was perfect for me and for the test. Thank you Kelly. Really appreciate your help.

He teaches you all the basics as well as takes you on all kinds of roads so that you learn to gauge your driving. I would recommend him to anyone who is starting off or just wants to take a couple of classes for the test. :)

Experiencia positiva: I would say I have a overall okay experience here. The receptionist call back quick is a plus but can be a little rude. I rode my first lesson with Josh and it went well. I do the other two lesson and went to the test with Quinn. I would say I have a paritcular bad experience in the first lesson with Quinn where I feel I'm the one who was paid. The second lesson went well and I feel compensated. Anyway I refreshed my driving skill here and also learned some. I appreciate Quinn for accomondating my schedule(mostly weekend) and for the driving tips. But I don't really feel being treated well overall.

Experiencia negativa: My daughter had an incredibly uncomfortable and, in my opinion, unprofessional Behind the Wheel session with Dan Tan Kim. It is terrifying to let our 15 year old children ride off with a stranger for two hours. Most concerning to me is that Dan made her drive him to two different places and then left her alone. First he had her drive him to his work, so he could get a different mask than the one he was wearing. It was in an unfamiliar area of town to her (Clairemont/Kearny Mesa area). He also made her drive to a park, so that he could get out to use the restroom. My daughter reported that the car smelled like cigarettes and that the instructor did not wear shoes while she was driving. In addition, he alternated between having his arms up behind his head like he was lounging or was on his phone texting and not paying attention to her driving (even while on the freeway). He continued to direct the conversation to her ethnicity and our family background, which made her uncomfortable with his questions. He told her to find her way home by herself from about 20 minutes away from an area of town we do not frequently visit and from which she had never driven. Of course, she was super stressed the whole time and felt that she had no instruction, but just criticism of any mistake. After speaking with the owner of the company, Amanda Wu, I am even more frustrated. She continually tried to defend the instructor saying it was typical for the driver to take a break during the lesson. When I said there was no reason for him to leave my daughter unattended in a car, she couldn't understand how he left her alone. When I kept repeating that when he went to his place of work and went to the bathroom, she was left alone in the car. She then tried to defend him by saying all of her instructors work long hours and are in the car 8 hours a day, so it is usual that they would need to go to the bathroom. I explained that this is her problem with scheduling her instructors and that they should have time between appointments to do so. She didn't even have anything to say about him texting repeatedly during the lesson.

He went through a driving test with me and spent two hours educating me on Ways of driving that will help my driving for the future. I feel more confident for my driving test and I feel like a safer driver because of the time with him. He was professional, knowledgeable, warm, and a delight to have as an instructor. Super patient, corrects your mistakes right away and takes you around the area you’re testing in to get good practice of what to expect on your BTW test, super knowledgeable and makes you feel comfortable and confident behind the wheel. My only issue was the lady I spoke to make my appointments. She was rude, had an attitude and had very poor customer service skills. It’s also a bit pricey but definitely worth it.

Experiencia positiva: The site they provided for the writing portion of driver's ed was disastrous in terms of grammar and spelling, but did the job in teaching me enough to pass the written exam. Behind the wheel driver instructor, Ehsan, was incredible and taught me so much in such a patient and skillful manner.

Actually, after my first lesson with him, I requested him for both my second and third (last) lessons. He was super funny, easygoing, interesting and nice. He gave a nickname and never forgot it (hi, I'm the Flash), so that was fun lol. He helped me with everything I wanted to know, and made sure I knew everything relevant to driving and the test. The route, what's going to happen, what I have to work on--super helpful. All around, one of the nicest and most helpful guys I've met! 10/10, great experience, 100% recommend.

I had three awesome lessons and they went fairly smoothly for a first time driver. If you are just learning how to drive then this school is the perfect option for you. They have amazing instructors! and I would recommend driving with Thomas he was great! He was patient, calm, and made me feel comfortable! Which was crucial for me. Bob was who I had for my first lesson and he was great too! Although I had some trouble understanding due to his accent but I didn't have a huge problem I was able to understand most of what he said. So thanks Allstate with just a little more practice I'll be good to go for my driving test in Sep.!

Experiencia negativa: I ordered this service to take my DMV exam. They said they would be an hour early so Ill have the chance to practice before the driving test and familiarize myself with the car. The instructor came in 15 minutes late, and I only had the chance to practice for about 25 minutes. I called the owner of this school to let them know that I was unsatisfied with the fact that the instructor, named Kelly, was late. The owner then decided that it would be a good idea to form a three way call with the driving instructor, owner, and myself. Kelly begins to scream over the phone and called me a liar and claimed that she was only 5 minutes late. I offered her proof that she was not 5 minutes late, but 15 minutes late. She continues to scream and the owner did not really say anything besides "I apologize, but being late is sometimes the reality." Try saying that to your boss at work and see how that works out. When you have a job to do you have to do your best to be there on time. No matter what. I feel like I overpaid for this poor service. I definitely do not recommend this place.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a 6 hour session with Darol and he's the reason I passed. I would highly recommend having driving classes with him. Calm and cheerful guy who patiently helps you out.

Experiencia fantástica: Josh was my instructor and I found him extremely knowledgeable and well mannered. I took 6 hrs lesson and it was more than sufficient to clear the road test! First two hours he judged my driving habits and gave his valuable inputs and remaining time we worked on it. If you are looking for a decent and knowledgeable instructor then I would highly recommend Josh for it. They are a bit pricey but it is worth!

The Allstate driving school offer a rental car to use for the test behind the wheel and fit with all requirements for DMV test I was very happy to find School offer that. Allstate Driving School was very flexible with my appointment for the test. The instructor pick me up to go to DMV before period of time to go to the test. Experiencia fantástica: Thank You Josh, Today i had my driving test and it went successful. I had a great experience with Allstate Driving School. Before taking courses with this company,I was a little worried, but all of that went away at my first lesson. I had Two hours of instruction with Josh, He gave me a lot of constructive feedback in a calm and relaxed tone and made me feel confident and competent behind the wheel. For my driving test Josh instruction helped me alot and I passed my driving test.

Experiencia fantástica: I had never driven before and trauma from a car crash and was taught by Gerado, I had 8 hours of lessons (intensive 6 hours and then another 2 hour lesson) and just passed my test, first time with only 2 minors!! he is very patient and teaches very well. I highly recommend!
