Experiencia negativa: Insurance with them is ridiculous!! They dont have an app and was never notified that my spike went from 245$ to 548$ for 2 tickets in 2.5 years. I figured it went up... but DOUBLE!! For a 25$ parking ticket and for "not yielding correctly" the insurance ladies were okay weren't really helpful other than telling me I should cancel... went back to progressive and now paying 238 a month.

Experiencia positiva: Went to AAA to book a cruise bought the insurance for the cruise flights and hotels to and from had a foot infection doctor recommended I canceled the cruise AAA left me high and dry poor service their insurance company difficult to work with and still refuses to pay shame on AAA they have gone downhill

Experiencia fantástica: I went in to transfer my insurance to a new vehicle. The agent was pleasant and very efficient. When I told I had an appointment the next day at the DMV but it was a hour drive, she told me a way to get an appointment in Warwick. I went to my car, did what she had suggested and sure enough I had appointment in Warwick that day. I'm grateful that I am a member of AAA

People in my family have 2 middle names. You people need some racial bias training especially if you are going to give service to POC. Crazy experience. Will be notifying the manager tomorrow.

Experiencia fantástica: Went to AAA in Cumberland to renew my driver's license. The staff here was so incredibly nice and helpful. They were on time for my appointment and so quick and so pleasant to deal with. I can say nothing but nice things about the personnel here. Other AAA locations are very good but this one was great. They made you feel so comfortable and welcome. I live in West Greenwich but would make the drive to Cumberland just to deal with these people. Top notch!!

Experiencia negativa: This branch location they are very rude I went into this branch today on 5/28/2020 and the customer service was terrible I understand with everything going with the covid 19 there's precautions and everything going but there is no need if you are an associate that is not in a good mood because you are working during this unsafe time to be rude to a customer from the door to inside when I was renewing my license they were completely rude! They need customer service training.

No one picked up the telephone no voice mail was available all the phone did was ring. Very disappointing since you pay for the membership.

Experiencia positiva: I needed to get a registration reprinted quickly. DMV wasn't available. I was (an am) thrilled that AAA does this, and I was able to get the registration. The woman said it was $18.50. I didn't look at the receipt when I signed it (my fault). It was for $20. There was a $1.50 service fee. I get it. I have no issues with it, but she should have said it was $20. All in all, as I said, I'm thrilled that they provide the service.

Everything has been great. Wish they had a bike rack. Update Feb 2024 - You now need an appointment for DMV services.

With the Plus membership there are many benefits I've taken advantage of -- some unfortunate like the 100 mile free tow service ! -- others very fortunate with their excellent travel books, maps and information, including excellent made to order customized TripTiks. Strongly recommended. JM Woonsocket -- we wish their office hadn't moved!

Experiencia negativa: I went for an address change ONLY and she accidentally charged me for a license renewal and I was there for almost 45 mins (not busy) , but that's a simple mistake .. what led to the low review was that 1. She didn't ask me if I wanted to change my picture or Not(which I didn't , I have done this before). 2. She checked my vision and didn't clean the forehead rest which was disgustingly filthy ( I had to wipe with my finger two times ) 3. Didn't give me the option to retake the picture which was not a cute one at that !.... but I give them 2 stars because they still seemed friendly .

Experiencia positiva: The agents who helped me during my most recent visit to AAA in Cumberland were knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I needed to have a triptik made. The new format is quite different from the old one. It seems that it's just a printout of the GPS verbal instructions. This method does not work well for the driver! Allow me to explain: GPS verbal instructions are given as the car reaches certain points along the route, whereas the printout is "blind" to the car's coordinates. The printed out instructions make no sense, and give too much information, for example, ("drive .4 of a mile. Merge with Rte XXX/Such 'n such Road/ Rte xxxW. Enter (new state). Drive 54 miles.) The information is only useful if given at timely intervals. And who the heck can remember what their odometer read? or when 54 miles is up? Did I reset the trip meter or not? You need a navigator, which I did not have. My message to you, AAA, is: Go back to the simple, straighforward triptik. This new version is DANGEROUS. Thanks for "listening."

Its is very easy to get to and it makes it a lot easier to do my registry business with AAA than having to go to Woonsocket or Cranston to have things done and wait for hours. AAA has made my life a lot easier. I have been a member since 1980 and continue to use them as needed in cases of emergency.
