Experiencia negativa: Normally I don’t write reviews however I must for this one. This place is raggedy and so is all the workers. Everyone is slow and rude . I rather spend my money somewhere else . How get upset cause you show me a clipboard with a note stating I won’t get my certification until 7 days later after you charged my debit card. I politely explain I was hoping to get it sooner she got upset and express they don’t just open a book and give it to me , it must go through dmv. Then she assume i said cancel it trying to dismiss me when all I asked was why you didn’t inform me prior to payment . Then another one tells me reading is fundamental when I asked for a receipt because she showed me the clipboard (listed below ). What an insult . I run a business of my own and would never treat my customers/clients this way . This is one of the most unprofessional establishment I have ever been to. I do not recommend

Experiencia negativa: Although I had good interactions with the drivers themselves. The people I encountered in the store were rude, unprofessional, unorganized, and disrespectful. I’m convinced they’ll try to steal more people’s money moving forward if they’re not shut down, not only because of my experience but because of the numerous complaints I’ve gotten from people I know that’s gone there after I did. And I’m convinced all of this is because of how unorganized these people are and how messy their store is it’s ridiculous. 0/10 I do not recommend. Please put your money towards another driving school so you can save yourself the headache of going back and forth with unprofessional people.

Experiencia positiva: My college age son was home for the Christmas this past December. He was returning January 26th and so we were pressed for time. Everyone was super nice and accomodating like when I picked a package that didn't include the 5 hour class because my son chose to do an online program that ended up not being the correct 5 hour class. although I had to pay another fee my son with the hep of the auto school was able to take his lessons in the week before returning to school as well as do the 5 hour class virtually and take the road test using the car from Sam's. Everyone was always pleasant in person as well as over the phone. I find if you are pleasant and kind you will get the same in return. The prices have gone up since I last worked with Sam's but it was money well spent as my son passed and earned his driver's license before going back to school January 27, 2024. thank you Sam's. Ms. Theresa who works in the office was extremely professional and helpful with assisting me in picking which package was best for me, scheduling lessons, & my road test. Isaiah, my driving instructor was very helpful and patient, he shows great competence in his role & has a unique teaching style that makes it easy to remember what you’re learning. I passed my road test on the first try!

Experiencia fantástica: I did my road test today. Isiah was my instructor, I haven't got my result yet because the DMV Officer said to view result online after 6pm. If I can give Isiah a million stars I would because he's great, has a lot of patience,knowledgeable and gave a thorough explanation on how to do the maneuvers. He used excellent reference points to assist with better judgment, which I use to struggle with. I haven't got my result yet but whatever the outcome is, I still have to thank Isiah for teaching me. Respect!

Experiencia negativa: If I can give 0 stars I would. It’s a shame because took my 5 hour class with Mr. Rosso and he’s a nice man. Also, my first driving lesson went super well and the second one went bad because the instructor dozed off and barely taught me. However the instructor I had today was awful! I booked an appointment for 1pm and the “instructor” forgot about it and arrived at 1:30pm and mind you I had my road test at 3:15pm in Garden city. When he arrived he kept staring at my inner thighs… I didn’t care in the moment because what mattered to me was to learn as long as he doesn’t touch me… I start driving and there was traffic so he wanted me to go right. I put the signal and I was going right and all of a sudden he grabs my wheel and his hand kept brushing my thighs while he turned it. He saw how uncomfortable I was getting and I was trying to move my legs. Eventually I told him “don’t touch my legs”. Not one of the other instructors did that. They wouldn’t even turn the whole wheel with their hand. I stopped the car and I put it in park, I told him that it didn’t like that and I told him that I didn’t feel comfortable. He calls up his boss and she’s screaming at him and I ended up calling my mom because I’ve never been in a situation like that. He said things like “if that’s how you feel I don’t care”, “moody” and the worst part he called his friend telling him “Yo tell me how one of my students, this shawty with thick thighs and she’s mad big is telling me I touched her.” Like that is evident of what I thought of him when I saw him staring at my inner thighs and not at my face at first glance. I told him “why would you tell your friend that? It’s highly inappropriate right now.” He said “So. I speak like that to my boss”. I was so shocked and disgusted at him and this business. I felt degraded, sexualized and truly upset. Ladies if you can’t offered to drive anywhere else or you have to take classes there because it’s in your location… I recommend booking a driving lesson with a woman

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely love this driving school. Thanks to them I am now a licensed driver. A+ services. Paid for the 5 lessons package which was about $225 if I’m remembering correctly and that also included pick up and drop off after each lesson. That was a big plus bcuz at the time I had no car and the school wasn’t that close for me to walk. They are a bit flexible so try to work out a schedule with them that’s convenient for you. The instructors were good but some are better than others but they’ll get the job done. Either way a good school none the less, check them out.

Experiencia positiva: This wasn’t my 1st time taking classes at Sam’s Auto School and purchased a driving plan, this happens to be my 2nd time. I was fortunate enough to be randomly assigned an instructor named Isaiah for most of my lessons. I liked Isaiah’s teaching and personality so much that I permanently schedule him for the remainder of my classes and sought thru to taking the road test which I did not see through my 1st time 2 years ago. Isaiah was the sole reason I possessed the confidence to actually finish my classes and become a practiced driver and actually passed my drivers test on the first try. He was very knowledgeable about driving. He was so easy to talk to and he especially helped walkthrough what would be on the road test. Thank you Isaiah!

I had the $332 package deal and it came with 5 lessons and I only received 4 because one of the instructors canceled on me and when I called the school to let them know they said there was nothing they can do about it and no refund. I would recommend that you stick to one person when taking your lessons because all instructors teach different ways and it will confuse you. The people in the office come off very rude and aggressive. They are all over the place so I would recommend you to find a better organized place that has better customer service.

I used one of their packages the one that gives five lessons, they schedule the road test, and give you a car for the test. I passed my road test on the first try. Puedes pagar con tarjeta o cash. Los carros que tienen para el servicio son Honda. La página web, se ve de poca calidad. Los contacte antes de ir presencialmente, pero nunca me respondieron.

Convenience doesn't make up for the rude, non-listening, unprofessional staff member attitudes and behaviors. They really need a course in customer service for dummies. Experiencia negativa: I scheduled multiple driving lessons, and a road test with this company. Most of the instructors were a hit or miss; some were good, but others rushed through my lesson. The instructor I had for the day of my road test was particularly negative. Her style of teaching, and second hand remarks, made me panic and question my driving capabilities. By the time we pulled up to the road test, I was at the brink of tears, uncomfortable, and thought that I was not ready for the test. Most of marks can be attributed to my failing mental state. Because of my experiences, I would recommend asking for an instructor that you know and trust on the day of your test, if you decide to purchase with them. Please use your own discretion when buying a bundle with this company. I want to re-iterate that some of their instructors were great and taught me in a way that helped me understand, while correcting my errors. However, because of this experience I personally will not be scheduling anything with this company again.

I failed the first time I took it but not because of them.so I booked 3 more lessons with Isiah scheduled my test 2 months away. Anthony took me to the road test and reminded me on what to do and I passed with no problem. Thanks to all who played a part in helping me get my license you all did a wonderful job thanks again.

They give you all different types of instructors different vehicles by the time you go on your road test you confused. When you go on the road test you get a definite vehicle then you was practicing with. Staff do not communicate with each other.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a great experience with this driving school. All the drivers I had were on time and I didn’t feel rushed they were very patient. I only have 2 tips for any one going to this school: 1. Ask for just ONE instructor when booking lessons. If not you may have a different one for every lesson and different people have a different way of doing things so it can get confusing when trying to learn. 2 make sure to book a lesson on the day of your test! It really helps with nerves and any last minute things you may want to practice. I had too many instructors to remember all of their names but the ones I do remember are Adam, Alex, Emmanuel and Carlos they were very helpful! So glad I passed thanks to them!

Experiencia negativa: I did 5 lessons at this school and I felt like 3 of my lessons was wasted taught me nothing in those lessons but just a 3 point turn. They are very poor at giving you feedback there driving instructors don’t do they job they come to your house high. Not focused. Not prepared. It’s a waste of money and especially that it took them a month and a half for me to get my lessons. So my knowledge after getting my permit was fading. Waste of money don’t do it.

Experiencia fantástica: Hey guys I took my road test at Cunningham park yesterday 10/25/2021 and I passed my road test first try ; this school is amazing … thanks to Karla and Tracy for teaching me everything I needed to know these women are amazing and was so patience with me . Sams auto school is the best ; if you listen and focus you will be just fine … the road test was bout 10 mins I did a left turn right turn 3 point turn and then parrel parked crazy part is I messed up on my parrell parking and the guy from the dvm told me to try it again and if I can fix it then Ill be good so I fix my mistake and it was fine … I don’t remember the guy name from the dmv but he made me feel so comfortable and we laugh and talk the entire time well I was doing my road test ; he was so freaking awesome ; I wish I can see him again and give him a hug forreal … Tracy … thank you so much for everything thing you did for me the laughs the talks the tough love because wen I messed up you made sure you correct me right away I love you for that ; and my girl Karla you are amazing ; thank you thank you and thank you ; on our way to the road test site we literally laugh and talk and you just an amazing teacher period thank you so much girl idk what I would’ve done with you and Tracy ; long story short Sams auto school is the besttttttt I don’t care what no one says ; be patience pay attention and always remember you can do what ever you put ya mind in to y’all stay safe

I had hardly any prior knowledge of driving on the road and my nerves made it hard for me to learn at first. But Alex made me feel very comfortable and confident in my driving abilities and I passed my exam on the first try. I highly recommend this place and Alex as an instructor!!!

Experiencia fantástica: This place is really good, my instructor teach me a lot, but they're scheduling system is not good, because you have to go there and do your scheduling in their office. Also when you do this Auto school you should do the plan 3, and make sure you should schedule everything including the driving test. By the DMV it is required to take a 5-hour class, so before you schedule the driving test, do the 5-Hour class first then schedule 10 lesson, and schedule the driving test. Make sure you do everything at once, or you have to wait a very long time.

I paid in April and by June when I was supposed to take my first lesson (A week before my road test) I was cancelled on an hour before and when I showed up the following Monday for the reschedule I watched one of the drivers pass me twice as I waited to get picked up. It was very unprofessional that after being flopped on I was told to "just get a refund" after I waited a month and a half for lessons ! It has now been about over a week & still no refund. I do not recommend this driving school if you need your license as soon as possible. They like to play games

Experiencia negativa: I purchased one of the packages for 10 lessons, 5hr class and road test with car I was told my package will never expire & when I came back to schedule lessons after corona virus pandemic I was told my package expired without any notification reminder nothing then went in location and all the representatives including owner acted clueless and gave me no help or reason why I wasn’t told my package expired! It was a poor experience and I only liked about one of the drivers that come get your for lessons the rest of them were unprofessional and ghetto. Completely disgusting experience I learned nothing from them but to never go back

Months will go by and you still won't have your license because you can't get lessons and good instructable lessons. The place is a mad house papers everywhere they can barely find your paperwork. They don't seem to care about your progress at all! They're on Mars with the astronauts for real. They should be calling all students every week to ask about their progress but, they don't. Instead they have people standing around like we waiting for food stamps!

Experiencia negativa: If you can go somewhere else GOO!! This is the second Sunday in a row that it was a no call no show. They fail to communicate, weren’t a tad bit remorseful when they failed to show up the first time and they give you a funky excuse for the instructor.

Experiencia negativa: Very unprofessional driving school anyone can choose. If I could have given a zero star that’s what they would have got. I’ve literally had it with them, they don’t call and reschedule I gotta wait for them then when it’s a no show they denied that they didn’t call you, car broke down, late for road test..... and I can go on, worst ever....

Experiencia negativa: Super Unprofessional. They do not pick up the phone and do not communicate with their drivers. They do not like to listen to prefrences about drivers. I really suggest that you do not go here.

Experiencia negativa: Didn't communicate with you about your five hour course feels like you gotta run them down when it comes to driving classes they say 45 minutes more like 25 to 30 minutes I wouldn't recommend Nobody here
