Experiencia negativa: Had a simple question, called, waited on hold for 10 minutes, got someone in Brooklyn NY. He said couldn't help me because he's in Brooklyn NY and doesn't know the DMV requirements in RI. I think that checks out. I did call a Narragansett # though?? He transferred me to the Narragansett office I thought I previously called. I waited on hold for 42 minutes, then finally just left a message. I would recommend going to another branch, AAA isn't what it used to be!

Experiencia negativa: Waiting almost four hours and before truck came...no status on app or via phone. It's cold, it's late, I have to use the restroom. They said truck coming from over ns hours away and suggested I leave the car and Uber home...out of state. They continually lied to me about him being five.minutes away etc. On the meantime I hired them canceled someone else due to their lies. Driver got "here" only to go to the wrong place. Then he found me but didn't know why he was here. Last, he opened my door with me sitting inside without knocking or anything - safety issue. Not impressed.

Experiencia fantástica: Good afternoon, I was in the need of AAA services. My battery was dead spoke with customer service and was given a time when AAA technician would assist me . Technician Don 66 arrived on time. Don was very pleasant and assessed the problem after running a few tests. We needed a new battery and was given a price, the price was cheaper than what my mechanic had quoted me. Don installed a new battery quickly.,we were also given a 6 year warranty. Thank you Don it was a pleasure meeting you.

Experiencia fantástica: VERY nice staff, helpful. Was able to get my IDP without an appt. Not a member, either. I had assumed an IDP was a DMV service, but its NOT. So, if you are working off the same assumption that I was, you're in luck! I arrived right when they opened and was all done in 10 minutes. Great experience!

Experiencia negativa: Called with a bent tie rod and tire. Was told 80 minutes which was good because I was told I had plenty of time to walk up to the bathroom at Cumberland farms from frishermans State park to use the ladies room...5 minutes later the truck is driving past so I had to run all the way back to my car only to be told they need to call for a flatbed truck...um yeah... so 2 hours later I still have to go to the bathroom. The flat bed ride past towards the beach, didn't even acknowledge me. Then I get a call telling me he's helping someone else, 10 minutes. It's been 30. Will they pay for court costs for indecent exposure. I could have walked up and back I don't know how many times.

Experiencia fantástica: I love being a AAA member. You can save a trip to the DMV and get most routine renewals taken care of. You can't apply for a first-time license or register a newly-purchased vehicle, but you can renew your license, upgrade to a Real ID, and renew your car registration. Currently you have to make an appointment via the web, but you can also join AAA via the web if not already a member. I was all done in 30 minutes including photo and payment. A little hard to find, but it is next to the Citizens Bank which is easily visible on the corner. Go into the office building next to the bank. It is on the first floor (look for AAA sign).

Experiencia fantástica: I tried to apply for a REAL ID yesterday -- but because I moved here from another state I have to go to a regular DMV office. However, the lovely woman helping me (I want to say her name was Nancy -- hope I'm right about that!) could not have been nicer! She went through the rest of my paperwork to ensure it was all in order, looked up what I needed for the transfer from another state (and how to apply for my one missing document), and even printed information about the DMV website for me. Honestly, even though I couldn't do what I had hoped to do there, the experience was really nice. That's not always the case out there in the world right now, so thank you, AAA Narragansett!

She was so helpful and understanding. She made sure I had all of the necessary paperwork that I would need. When I went into the branch she waited on me as well. Very helpful and professional. This is a service that is normally provided at this AAA location however, due to the COVID pandemic, I completely understood that these services were by appointment only and I did not have an appointment. The team at this location offered to help me get my documents today because they had a few minutes between appointments and they knew I needed them quickly. I am extremely grateful for their amazing customer service! I will be a AAA member for life.

Experiencia negativa: Better to go through Dmv for license renewals. Tried twice with documents for real id and both times they refused my documents. Same documents with DMV approved that same day.

Experiencia negativa: I don’t have 3 hours of my day to wait in line for a service that I pay for. If I want to waist a day I’ll go to the DMV for free.

Experiencia negativa: I do not like new set up. 1 person only checking people in is not efficient. Trying to be lean but adding time to process. Really Nice people work there but understaffed for demand. I’d add travel people to help dmv people waiting. Tons of people working but only 3 doing dmv work which has a huge demand. I’d change the process to make wait times 10 mins or less.

Experiencia positiva: It's convenient, but is now swamped with DMV customers, and the staff, especially one manager, is showing the strain. Last time I went to return a plate I had to wait an hour. I went a couple days ago to get some gift cards and had to wait while a generalist served a DMV customer. There never seems to be a good time to go. Pity.

Recently I used their services to get foreign currencies for work trips abroad and it has been great! Easy transaction, all paperwork done within 15 minutes and best of all a call when money were ready to be picked up. Very knowledgeable and polite staff too!

I tried to get the same thing done in town and waited two hours and didn't get close to the front of the line. Went to AAA and was out the door in 25. Even with the travel time back and forth it was faster.

I prefer going for my here than the registry for my license and registration renewals as it is quick and easy. I have gotten trip-tix, tour books, foreign driver's licenses and more here. I highly recommend them. Easy parking too.

Experiencia fantástica: This office is a well run, friendly, efficient and totally pleasant place to do business. I have renewed my license there and later had the license redone because of a change in address and each time the entire procedure took no more than fifteen minutes. The staff are glad to answer your questions and help you get forms filled out and are really friendly and upbeat while doing so. I have also gone into the office to buy gift certificates during the holidays and when it was crowded, staff members came over from other departments to help out and they had staffers working the lines with fliers describing purchasing options and answering customers' questions before they got up to the counter so the line moved really quickly. Getting stuff done at the division of motor vehicles can be a trial. Getting the same things done at this AAA office is a pleasure and it gets done so quickly. Great service, very convenient and excellent people!!!
