Experiencia fantástica: I've been to several dirt tracks. This one is the cleanest and best laid out in the south that I have been too. Good racing and a lot of cars.

Experiencia fantástica: Clean grounds for the spectators. ICC variety of classes each night that give you a good card of racing. They also bring in the midget racers, which is really an excellent race. The program moves along. The concessions are great good clean, healthy food.. it is also family oriented which is great no alcohol.

Experiencia positiva: First time visit was a great evening of entertainment. Patience is required to enter track and to purchase refreshments but the racing was fun with a smooth transition between vehicle classes.

Experiencia negativa: Would be nice if they would clean the bathrooms before each race night and repair the one in the ladies that has been out of service for atleast 10 years now.

Experiencia positiva: Very comfortable facility. Easy access from interstate. Plenty of room in grandstands.

Experiencia fantástica: I was passing through from New Orleans in late October and saw a Deep South Speedway sign on hwy 59 . Looked it up online , went to an event and MAN what a surprise ! Last time I went to a dirt track race was in Hickory , La 10 years ago and it was nothing like this . This facility and dirt track with inner and outer sidewalls was a 10 compared to other tracks I've seen and they had 85 race car entries !! Way more than I expected and the way the grand stands were laid out was awesone ! You can bring your own comfortable outdoor chair to sit in and the concessions were really good for the price. Now My wife and I drive here from New Orleans on a regular basis with my son and he absolutely loves it . I highly recommend anyone to take there family here for an outing of entertainment .

Experiencia fantástica: 19 Mar 2022, This place was great. It was family oriented the grand stands sit right up on the track and feel big and spacious. We brought a stroller and had no problems getting it up and down the grand stands. Concession stand prices were reasonable for buying at the track. Lots of kids running and playing. Areas to throw a ball with friends while you wait for the race to start. Only negatives in my opinion was the lap and position board was way off to the side instead of across the track from the grand stands. And the lines at the concession stands were very long. Other than that we had a fantastic time.

Experiencia negativa: This is the only track I know that will take the win from a 17 year old and give it to a grown man because he it a cray baby well I got a diaper and pasafier for the cry baby! Because if u have two eyes u can see that #14 is a car length Infront of him crossing that checkered flag! And that's a picture taken by the track! All I can say is LETS GO CODY! #1 in my book!

Experiencia negativa: Shanda the rude so called female that runs this speedway they wet the track while it was sprinkling and ruined. Obviously she doesnt know how to run the track. We are for Tennessee. And she came out extremely rudely and comfortantional and accused me but the witnesses stated i was not rude and she came our mad talking bout absolutely no refunds and hateful. Proceeded to cuss me. They need new management. They obviously cant afford to have respect for people. I will not be back and i dont recommend anyone else if there is a chance of rain cause they are gonna make sure they soak the track so they can keep your money. Crooks is what they are. There was 4 of us almost 10 hrs away and wouldnt redund. Ridiculous and disrespectful. I would give no stars

Experiencia negativa: deep south speedway is an absolute JOKE. from the owner, to the tech people, to the staff. if you’re not one of their “chosen” drivers be prepared to have to jump through a thousand more hoops. last night a car that didn’t even finish its heat race started the feature fourth while a driver racing two classes who had already been to one tech meeting got put in the rear even though he won his heat race because he wasn’t at the second tech meeting even though it was because he was on the track doing his first heat race with his other car. during the races said driver and multiple other cars spun out however because the driver was not liked by them the announcers were very rude and didn’t announce his name and the one time he spun out said he was “ruining the fun” when different cars had spun out multiple times and never recieved said comments. during the feature race the driver started last and made it all the way to first and won. the announcer all night had announced the win and then at victory lane said “give your winner a round of applause” however when he got out of his car the announcer said nothing. very rude. after the race we were standing by concessions waiting on our friends and the owner of the track was talking to the racer who somehow got to start fourth without finishing his heat race and telling him how they disqualified the winner because they didn’t like him and they were laughing about it saying how much they didn’t like him. this place will NEVER get my business again especially after i spoke up and said something about it saying that was wrong and i wouldn’t be back and the owner and staff just waved and laughed. i grew up at this dirt track and have always loved racing. but this track is an absolute joke now. dont waste your $12 general admission fee because even if you see a good race they take the win away from half their drivers for not being their friends. 0/10 stars. 0/10 ownership/management.

Experiencia fantástica: The track is so much better then I have seen it in years on the back side you can bring your truck or car and sit on the back of the truck watch the race. Were we sit you could see the whole track so much nicer then before. I just want to say a big THANK YOU TO WHO HAS THE TRACK NOW!!! I will be back to watch the races again...

Experiencia fantástica: The racing was pretty good, just not enough cars in some classes. The best raving action was the stinger class. They need to get a better speaker system or relocate the ones that are there. The announcer, Nascar Ron is the worst, need to rid themself of him and get a decent announcer. Other than that, a good place for race fans.

Experiencia negativa: Need to learn from someone how to get the track to take water. Can't just throw water at on Saturday. On 09/12 you needed dirt bike goggles to watch the races. Bone dry from the first car on the track till the last

Experiencia negativa: 120$ for 3 of us from SWFL just to get canceled was looking forward to fireworks and dirt racing, I’m not worried about it being canceled, but they wouldn’t give a refund because we have to go back to Florida wouldn’t recommend this place unless you’re in alabama for a week or 2!!

Experiencia positiva: Deep South Speedway was closed for a long time and recently reopened and reworked. The infield is larger, the track is constantly being treated, graded, and conditioned for the best of the best to come try their skills on this 1/8 mile oval track. Competition is ramping up and all of the facilities have been reworked and updated. The P/A system is clear and the only thing missing? A full stadium!

Experiencia positiva: We had a great time other than the fans blowing cigarette smoke in our face. There should be no smoking in the grand stands. We will be going into the pits next time. Also if you are going into the pits I suggest getting there early so you don’t have to wait so long in line.

Experiencia negativa: Great race track but the food prices are a total rip off I mean come on 4.00 for a fountain drink and 5.50 for a kid size cheese burger the place is nice but that’s no excuse to rip people off on food prices

Experiencia fantástica: Took my grandson for the first time and he said "This is the best thing ever and I've been waiting for this my whole life" one of the drivers came in the stand and asked to take a pic with him and he was happy too...awesome place and there will defiantly be more visits...highly recommend for some saturday night fun.

Experiencia fantástica: The new management it excellent. We have been going to DSS for many years, we have seen the good and the bad. The new management is the best yet. Family oriented, good racing, it is once of the best dirt tracks you'll ever visit. Yeah I'm a local but we are within an hour to an hour and a half drive to several other dirt tracks. We will choose DSS under the new management hand down to any other track.
