Experiencia fantástica: Stephanie Thomas and Eric were my instructors! Stephanie was really good at teaching. She not only teaches you what to do but WHY to do it. Which is so important because it really helps to remember the rules. Eric was also really good at helping me stay in my lane and remember how to see where I am in my lane. Stephanie also helped me identify that with my side mirrors and had wonderful tips for that. Both instructors were really reassuring and help you build your confidence for driving. Stephanie taught me parallel parking with really easy steps and helped me navigate the free way (you don’t have to go on the free way if you don’t want to but you can!) Edit: wanted to also mention my great experiences with Lamel and Coach Dennis! Lamel was very responsive to emails. He gave me all the information I needed very quick! On the day of my test, I had forgotten some documents (don’t do that) but Lamel was kind enough to offer to print them for me. Otherwise I wouldn’t be able to do my test! Thank you Lamel! Coach Dennis was the one who took my test. I was nervous but because she was so calm, it helped me during my test. She’s awesome and really calms you down!

They call you back if they missed your call which in my opinion, is impressive. I did most of my lessons with Mr Eric Friederman. Eric was very understanding and helped me to boost my confidence in a short time. He is patient, knowledgeable and encouraging. I did my road test and passed in one trial. Ms Dennis, the examiner, topped it off by being very professional and kind in her voice. She allowed my nervousness to disappear during the road test. Thank you Safeway Driving School. The office manager Lamel Grant provided the best customer service from answering questions to ensuring my son’s driving log was signed after we added extra lessons. Experiencia fantástica: Starting as a totally new (and very nervous) driver, I took a total of 4 driving lessons and the online course with Safeway Driving. Thanks to Eric, an amazing instructor with boundless patience and a super cool demeanor, I very quickly got much better and more confident with each lesson. So much so that just a few days after I finished, I was able to take the road test and passed! I really liked how Eric was able to point out what I needed to adjust that I was doing and what other people were doing right or wrong on the road as we were driving, making sure I understood the best way to do things and how things changed based on road conditions, all in a way that made me feel at ease during the entire lesson. To anyone considering this Safeway location to learn to drive or tune up their skills, I'd say absolutely to do it - no need for second-guessing. Experiencia negativa: No communication whatsoever! I only have one child, so I’ve never done this before, we enrolled him in the online course, and there was zero communication! When I tried to call the school it made me leave a voicemail and no one ever calls you back, it’s been a nightmare trying to figure everything out myself. I recommend just going with another school that actually values your business.
