Experiencia negativa: Make sure you are paying for what you need. This place almost scammed me into paying $1750 to add on hazmat, and doubles/triples. The person I spoke with tried to convince me that there is now a new law in place that says I need to sign up for training if I choose to add any endorsement which I found to be false upon further investigating. The ONLY endorsement that requires training is a passenger endorsement which requires a skills test. I'd say go elsewhere because these are dishonest people who will lie to get more money from you.

My MVA testing day was Aug 8th, I felt I wasn’t ready I called Jeff on Aug 7th and asked him to push the date back, he told me: “just go and give what you learned, if you follow the instructions you will be fine”. Experiencia fantástica: I was in and out in 5 weeks. Mr.Jeff and Mr.Rudolph are truly a huge help. The price was great, the training was great, and the experience was great. “Stick to the script”!

Experiencia positiva: Overall, Jeff is a knowledgeable instructor. Affordably priced but remember you get what you pay for. He needs additional paid instructors to handle the class sizes. There are 30-40 students to 1 truck ratio. People are literally fighting to get inside the truck. You will stand around for hours to get maybe 15 mins of driving instruction. If you do pass the CDL skills & road test; Jeff charges a ridiculous $150 administrative fee to verify you attended the class once you seek employment. He provides no certificate of completion or diploma so KEEP ALL YOUR PAPERWORK if you wish to get tuition reimbursement from a major carrier.

Experiencia fantástica: This is not a paid for review: I’ve acquired my CDL Class-A license after 3 months with CDL Book Club and I would highly recommend Jeff and his team. What I would suggest is to temper your expectations as this is not a “hold-my-hand” sort-of experience as Jeff provides all education you need in the form of books that he has written that act as a liaison to directly facilitate in your educational experience. Without reading those books and studying them you will NOT pass test. There is a book for Pre-Trip and a book for Maneuvers of the truck and trailer. You can spend $10,000 plus on another school or start with $1500 with Jeff. If your diligent then you will only spend $1500. If you are someone who does better with a “hold-my-hand” teaching Enviorment I would say look elsewhere for a school and probably look elsewhere for a career…

Experiencia negativa: I Recently reached out to this establishment & explain to him my situation, I’ve already done all that was needed including taking my Entry Level Driver Training (ELDT) (6 Hr) Course. All I really needed was to do my pre trip, because the school I was originally attending had me practicing in a truck that the tags were expired so I couldn’t complete the corse so I relocated to DC Google this school explain to him the deal & he still was trying to charge me full price! Really!! It’s always our ppl! NoW I know it’s a business and you’re in it to make money! But really tho. And I’m trying to accomplish this b4 my Class B expires. It’s his business so I’m gonna reach and say he could’ve accommodated But folks be so money hungry

Experiencia negativa: The worst CDL training school in Maryland. Do not attend this school. You are only paying for the truck and to have Acess to the truck. You have to buy a book on Amazon that he wrote to study the pretrip. Which is a waste. The class is overcrowded with 20-50 people with One instructor. You only will get in the truck 1 time to do your maneuvers. You can be there from 3pm-6pm and not drive at all. Sometimes he don’t even bring the truck out. This is a self study program you learn from others in the class more than you learn from Jeff. This school is a waste of time, And is a money grab. If you think I’m lying go see. They practice at Bowie State Marc Train station. Go visit before you sign up. Trust me I wish I did. I’m Very disappointed I wasted my time and money here. Update After failing my skills test with CDL Book Club twice at the MVA, I went to CDL4less. Great program and system. I Had one full day behind the wheel and road. Pass my CDL skill test at the Waldorf MVA location July 14th. The way CDL4less trains you is Top-tier. 4 trucks doing Skill maneuvers with 2-3 people per truck taking turns. They also have Four instructors helping you with your maneuvers. Unlike CDL BookClub when you mess up they throw you out the truck, CDL4LESS helps you and corrects you on what you doing wrong. They also have Different times you can come in to train, unlike CDL Book Club where it just one set time , they have mornings and afternoon hours. If it wasn’t for CDL4LESS, I would have to do everything all over again because my License expired July 17th 2022. CDL4LESS says they get 2-4 CDL Book Club Students a week. Crazy thing is I saw like two people from CDL Book Club there. All I’m say is you been warned. I saw the Facebook videos and the price, but this situation Has taught me cheaper is not always better

I started with CDL book club and for months I didn't come out to train and I didn't take it serious but as my expiration for my learners was near I knew I had to focus in. The instruction is solid all you have to do is come to class take it seriously and Run the script and Mr. Mills will help you get it done. I want to add that this is one of the cheapest classes in our area so we have to be mindful that no one is going to hold your hand to help you if you don't want to help yourself. Experiencia negativa: If you are a DC driver do not go to CDL book club . You will only get 1 maybe 2 chances in the truck because the classes are overcrowded mainly with Maryland drivers. You will rarely get to do the alley dock which is the most difficult maneuver to do. It is likely that you will fail your road test dealing with CDL book club especially if you are a DC driver, you may not get the truck that you practice with the day of the test. Go to CDL 4 less, it's a little more money but it's worth it and you will likely pass

CDL Book club is unorganized and unprofessional you will be waiting for hours just to do one skill maneuver one time. If you make a mistake in the truck they will pull you out and tell you to go read the book. This is not the place to go if you are trying to get your cdl for the first time a complete joke. A circus ran by a clown trying to hit on female students lol. Go to CDL 4 Less I got my CDL in about a month with CDL 4 Less. After wasting 4 months Here lol.
