Experiencia fantástica: I would highly recommend taking lessons at University Driving School whether you are a first time driver (like I was many years ago) or as an adult (also like me making this my second time as one of their students) and could use a refresh of the rules of the road and what is expected of you during the road test. My instructor's name was Dave and not only did he make me feel comfortable and at ease but he was also extremely knowledgeable. Needless to say I passed and I honestly don't believe I could have done it without Dave's help so thank you!

Experiencia negativa: I’m sharing my concerns to help others avoid the same frustrations. From the start, the instructor named Kim (I believe her name was Kim, don’t quote me) was extremely passive-aggressive and unnecessarily rude. She often made jokes about how people disliked her, which only added to the uncomfortable atmosphere in the classroom. The technology and materials used for teaching were severely outdated. We relied on a VCR that frequently malfunctioned, causing significant delays in our lessons, and the textbooks provided were extremely out of date. This outdated approach made the whole experience feel very unprofessional and frustrating. Professionalism was another major issue at this school. During one lesson, a random dog wandered into the classroom, distracting everyone and making it difficult to focus. Additionally, the phone rang numerous times during class, and the workers just let it ring without answering, further disrupting the session. These interruptions were not only unprofessional but also set a poor example for the students. The lack of communication and respect from the staff was particularly disheartening. It's been almost four months since I completed the lesson part of the class and passed the test. We were told that the instructor would contact us for the on-road portion, but despite repeated inquiries, I have yet to hear anything. While I acknowledge that my mother missed the parent portion of the class, this delay is excessive and unacceptable. The lady in the front lied and said she called but I never got a call/ text. When I tried to address this with the owner, Dave, he was extremely disrespectful and showed no understanding of the situation. Overall, this driving school was highly unprofessional and poorly managed. The combination of rude staff( excluding one of the staff I don’t appreciate him, I believe his name is Jake, again don’t quote me) , outdated materials, and lack of communication made for an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. I would not recommend this school to anyone.

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing people, i started off at AAA driving school only to find out i couldn’t book onroads until the summer. I called University and they helped out right away, I got in in TWO WEEKS!!! Amazing driving school definitely recommended! I have David as an instructor and he’s a wonderful teacher/driver as well. I learned a lot already.

Doesn't make you feel comfortable because he's almost always in a bad mood. Go to a school that has patients and compassion. Driving happens at your own pace not of the instructor.

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent driving school! It was a great experience! Dave was excellent at giving me a refresher on the road and kept the conversation light and funny and I enjoyed the camaraderie. I passed my license retake exam the first try and was so relieved and thankful and glad I signed up for two driving lessons, one the same morning right before the road exam! Thank you University Driving School!

Very grateful for this experience because I know she’ll carry it with her every time she gets behind the wheel. My daughter had Dave And Kim as her teachers the week she went and I have heard nothing but positive things about them, not only as people but as instructors. I feel comfortable in knowing I made the right decision with where to send her. Big thumbs up!

Experiencia fantástica: this driving school is excellent i ended up only doing five days of school because i decided to do it over spring break and i thought it was gonna be a drag, turns out this place is a absolute blast i learned what i needed to while we had fun and enjoyed ourselves i would recommend this place if you are looking for a driving school!

Experiencia negativa: Don’t do it. David is the owner and is extremely unprofessional and berating. If you’re a grown man, maybe he will be nicer to you. He charges $85 a lesson to have you practice driving while he screams at you, aggressively grabs the wheel with no explanation, and talks down on you. Let alone he texts the entire time as if he can’t get fined for that especially with him being an instructor. For any parents considering this school for your kids please do not do it. Especially not your daughters. He is very inappropriate and he wonders why he’s the only driver he has anymore. You will not learn a single thing i can garuntee you that much.

Experiencia fantástica: Great friendly instructors who always remind students of safe driving skills. 3 children went there and all got their driver's licenses on their first try. This year I will be registering my youngest for driver's ed.

Experiencia negativa: Worst experience ever here. It’s because I basically paid only to get insulted and talked down to over and over again. Thankfully I had Jake, a nicer instructor, for a little while. But Dave can really be a rude, berating, impatient, irritable, insulting person to have beside you while trying to learn. He’s great at making you feel uncomfortable and stupid. Oh, and yeah, I absolutely did not succeed here. I didn’t even realize how poorly I was being treated until I switched to a different driving school, where I was finally treated with respect and dignity.

He was able to schedule a lesson before my road test and I was able to pass on the first try ! Im grateful that I had a great instructor who made sure I was ready before taking my test :).

Experiencia negativa: I would rate 0 if I could. instructors make you uncomfy and are rude. I had Jake who was the most normal one there. Should've gotten my license almost 3 months ago but the appointment keeps getting pushed back for whatever reason. Never fail to make me upset and angry waiting. don't choose this school. They tell us to give them 5 star ratings aswell in exchange for a reward.

Experiencia fantástica: My girls have had the greatest experience with this school. Staff are super nice and friendly. Very patient with the girls. Kim was their instructor and she is strict(driving is not a joke, therefore I do understand). A year later, I enrolled my son in the driving school. Once again, they work their magic. They made sure my son has the correct "manner" when driving(Calm and focus, no need to rush). He got his license on the heaviest snowy day thanks to the good team. I recommend this place to friends and family.

Experiencia fantástica: I just had my first lesson with David. He was very clear and very professional, i learned a lot in just one lesson. I already scheduled my second lesson. University Driving School have excellent instructors.

Experiencia negativa: Do not waste your money on this driving school. I would give zero stars if possible. Owner yelled so loudly at my daughter over the phone I could hear him in the other room because he didn’t like what time she was calling him (it was 4:30 in the afternoon). He told her multiple time how much he hated teenagers and would gossip about other students while doing on-roads and took phone calls during her lessons - one of which he was yelling at the person so badly they hung up on him. My daughter did not feel safe with him. He never allowed her to parallel park without grabbing the wheel. Not exactly how you teach someone. When she was unsure if it was safe to turn (like taking a left on a green after oncoming traffic) he would just scream at her to go - not explaining why and when it was safe. We paid hundreds of dollars to pretty much teach her ourselves. We have 3 other children and will gladly give another Driving School our money.

Experiencia negativa: I usually make a point to only leave good reviews. However, I've had mixed experiences with this driving school. My daughter was able to take the classes and receive on road instruction fairly easily and timely. That was 2017. Fast forward to last year, my son took the classes but has been chasing the on road instruction for months! In 2017, we paid for each on road session at the time of the session. In 2021, we paid in full upfront. I believe this is the reason that we cannot get a driving instructor to schedule his final 4 hours of on road instruction. This is incredibly inconvenient. I wouldn't send my child here, had I known this is how the business runs.

Experiencia fantástica: The University of Driving school is professional and efficient at teaching new drivers how to drive and share good communications along with very much exceptional methods of learning. I recommend this school to anyone who needs to learn how to drive or is looking to obtain there license early. Expect fun energetic teachers to help you learn everything you need to know as classes are very much entertaining. Also the process is made easy when signing up due to a great secretary that you will meet as soon as you walk in.

Experiencia fantástica: Upon going through the course of remote learning, I realized that it exceeded my expectations. Originally I thought it wouldn't be a great experiences due to the fact that remote learning is extremely unfortunate. Although, we did the course remotely I had an amazing experience and recommend it to anyone else in need of learning to drive. Kim was also an amazing and really reasonable instructor especially with how understanding she was.

Experiencia fantástica: My family has had amazing experiences with this driving school. Not only has my brother gone through this driving school and learned to drive like an expert, but now I’m going through it as well and am enjoying it. My teacher Kim is currently teaching the class and working extra hard to make sure we understand every new concept she introduces, answers any questions that we may have and even allows us 20 minute breaks just to stretch or just take a break from learning for a bit. I recommend that if anyone needs to learn to drive, they do so through this driving school since they are very good with communicating all the concepts of driving in an effective and detailed manner.

Once my son took the class, he was very comfortable and confident. I definitely recommend University Driving School, very very pleased.

I didn’t even know there was such a thing as a driver/parent contract, I printed it out and will be filling it out with my son. She took the time to answer any questions we had and overall she made me feel confident that my son will be learning from the best!
