Experiencia fantástica: Just passed my drivers test today! I had a 90 min class with them and also car rental for the drivers test. It was Chokri both times and it was a very good experience. He is funny but very firm when teaching so you know he is paying close attention to your driving and giving tips and tricks as well as all the do’s and dont’s. He also gives a little briefing before the drivers test about things to do and what to watch out for. Overall, I am so glad I went with this driving school, from booking to payments (via zelle) to classes and the people were all good and I would definitely recommend them

Experiencia fantástica: I know that finding a good driving school can be overwhelming… there are a lot of options out there, prices for classes can be high, and their reviews can be very mixed. Safe Roads Driving School is the very BEST. Their website is easy to use, the staff sends helpful reminders of any upcoming classes, and they even give you a phone call the day prior to confirm the appointment. Their instructors are very knowledgable, with years of experience, and great attitudes. Raymond is the BEST. I couldn’t have passed my driving test today if it weren’t for his guidance and patience. I took about 6 classes with Raymon, with no prior experience behind the wheel, and passed my test the very first time. They even have the option of renting their car for the driving test, and will do pick up/drop off. Don’t second guess yourself and just book a class!

He used to drive bus for long time so he is very experienced. Only minus point is that you have to book in very advance else you will not get slot. Experiencia fantástica: I had my first lesson with them this morning and I am SO happy I did. I'm incredibly afraid of driving and put it off for other personal reasons, but the time has come for me to learn due to a shift in my priorities. Chokri is an absolute God send. I tried one driving school while in high-school and another one a few months ago and while they weren't terrible, they just weren't for me. This school, however, is very much a school I intend on, and have already begun, preaching about. He's knowledgeable, humorous, and incredibly reassuring. I need that extra reassurance and he provides it continuously. He has a warm heart and despite me being occasionally ditzy, he speaks to me like I'm his daughter instead of some idiot he picked up in a car lol. Anyone can learn, but not everybody can teach. Chokri is most definitely an amazing instructor. If you're looking for a good driving school, this is the best choice hands down. Plus all the other driving schools have you drive to the next student and have that student drive you home and it's just an annoying waste of time. Not this school. The way their schedule is set up, you drive yourself home. Another important thing, the way he teaches you makes SENSE. And when you make mistakes, he doesnt just fix it for you. He explains the mistakes and the solutions to them to help ensure you learn from it. I can honestly write a lot more but, safe to say, I have him booked for a few weeks Thank you, Chokri!! UPDATE: I passed my road test on my first try!! I booked a lesson right before the test and because of my luck, it was literally a thunderstorm. Chokri made me feel incredibly safe and he was reassuring the entire time. Shoutout to my dad for the parking lessons! ❤️ But seriously, I have my license now but will be booking the occasional lesson before I purchase my car and for little while after just to make sure I'm as good as can be. Easily the best driving school in NJ and will recommend Chokri to everyone!!

Experiencia fantástica: Summary: would highly recommend; great instruction that built up my confidence in driving fundamentals & safety Chokri was a great instructor (with a good sense of humor) and was patient with me when I was on the road and/or he was explaining things. The 90 minute lessons were not rushed and each lesson contained good amounts of practice both in quiet areas and through Jersey City. Note: It is worth coming to lessons with direct questions that can be addressed (e.g. mirror techniques for parallel parking/etc). I went from no experience to passing my road test first time (at Newark) in just under two weeks by having four lessons + refresher before test.

My instructor has almost 20 years of experience as a commercial driver and instructor, but he was also timely, humorous, patient, and incredibly encouraging (even after I paused lessons for almost a year due to pregnancy and even after I had to retake my road test ). Experiencia fantástica: My driving lessons with Ramon were great he lets you know step by step how to parallel park and points out every mistake you do so you can learn from them. Riding with Emad to take my road test as a great experience, he lets me know bit by bit every piece of information and advice I need in order to prepare for the road test and learn exactly how the scenery is and the types of instructors anyone may be dealing with and both people are overall great instructors to ride with. My experience overall is a 10/10 they helped me prepare for my road test and helped me with my driving and they both believed in me throughout the way. This driving school I absolutely recommend for others who want to take lessons or prepare for their road test.

Experiencia negativa: i could have given them less than 1 star if it was possible. I had the worst possible experience with them. I booked for a 45 min driving review with road test. They sent me an invoice for $195. I paid $20 in advance to book the appointment. The invoice mentioned "Chokri" as the driver/ instructor. Instead they sent a can who called him self "Shukreen" (not exactly sure what his name was). There was no logo of Safe Roads on his car. He then demanded that i need to pay $205 since the cost was $225. I told him the invoice was $195. After we drove towards Rahway, he entered a small parking lot to practice. I had to instruct the guy how to properly put the cones for parallel park. Thats where i faced the worst experience. While practicing in noticed the steering wheel locked wile doing parallel park. I mentioned a couple times and he said you just had to adjust. Everytime i tried to parallel park, i didnt work perfectly due to the locking of steering wheel. I asked him what is the solution, he screamed at me and got out of the car and banged the car door. Then he started calling the Saferoads office complaining about me. He also threatened me that he wont do the road test and we can drive back home right now. All this 10 mins before road test. I spoke to the Saferoads reception and they said that all the cars lock after 2-3 attempts of parallel park (which is absolute rubbish.). I just wanted to get out of that parking lot and go to the test. I composed myself and went for driving test in the same car. Considering all the screaming and banging of car door by the instructor, i failed the test. Please do not ever book any classes with them. They are unprofessional, the cars need fixing which they dont bother to and they dont even have the courtesy to refund the money for the horrible experience by the driver. We drove back to my dropoff location. The unprofessionalism doesnt end here. This instructor was now in the driving seat and he was talking on the phone in one hand while driving the car with only one hand. I had to tell him i dont feel safe while he is driving with one hand. I hope nobody faces such trauma with this driving school like i did.
