Experiencia fantástica: Took the course I was so pleasantly surprised in how my instructor Rob went out of his way to make sure everything was explained until everyone in class understood properly great training for people of all levels of motorcycle experience.

Experiencia fantástica: Had the best 2 day experience with Austin Moto Academy in Buda. Rob, the instructor, was truly passionate about riding and teaching and did a wonderful job! He was engaging, fun to learn from, but also stuck to the well-planned curriculum. The objectives were clear and it was tons of fun learning to ride even though I had no previous experience. At the end of the second day, I met Miles, the owner. He was enthusiastic, approachable, and had a contagious excitement talking about all the different motorcycles they had rescued and were adding to the fleet. The facility is purpose made for learning to ride and was excellent. There are a good variety of motorcycles you’ll have an opportunity to ride, which added to the enjoyment. One word of advice: once you confirm a date for the class, book an appointment to get your license. Otherwise you will be excited to ride but have to wait until you can get your motorcycle endorsement added to your existing license- which could potentially take weeks or months.

I have nothing to compare it to however, Austin Moto Academy made my learning experience worth being out in the rain and cold. My instructor Rob did a wonderful job taking us through every possible scenario with a great story to tell. He truly cared about each rider remembering everyones name, learning about one another, and making sure we would feel welcome into the motorcycle community. If you need, want, or are even curious about getting your motorcycle license I would not overlook Austin Moto Academy. They've got a variety of motorcycles, custom painted courses (not a parking lot), and the best instructors, I highly recommend Rob!

Rob, the instructor, was nothing short of amazing. His passion for teaching really shines through, and you can tell he genuinely loves what he does—especially when working with true beginners. Beyond just teaching the course material, Rob shared thoughtful stories and made sure we all understood the risks of riding, especially when it comes to being under the influence. It’s clear he cares deeply about his students' safety and success. The class was incredibly fun, and even my husband, who was initially reluctant (I forced him to sign up, haha), left the first day feeling excited and pumped! He wished we could have more class time. Rob’s teaching style is what really stood out. He never glossed over anything, provided constructive feedback without judgment, and was always positive and encouraging. I’m truly in awe of his approach. I highly recommend this course, and if you’re lucky enough to have Rob as your instructor, you’re in for an amazing experience! This place is top notch.

Incredibility knowledgeable obviously, but the magic is how he makes you think about safety in a way that makes you not only a better rider, but a better person. Being respectful of other drivers, knowing to check yourself emotionally and physically every time before a ride. To always gear up and go through the mechanical checklist. Small things that can have a huge impact on enjoying a lifelong love of riding. I am honestly say, I am glad it was a mandatory class to get my license.

Experiencia fantástica: Rob was such a great teacher. The days went by so fast because we were having so much fun. He was great at keeping everyone engaged. It was a fun time, but also down to business. He worked hard to keep everything moving so that we could be out of there on time while still taking as much time we needed to ensue all students understood the content/objective. You are on that bike pretty much as soon as you get out there. So be ready to RIDE. They provide water if you need and there are very clean/well maintained porta potties. They do also provide helmets and gloves if you need. I highly recommend packing a quick lunch or snacks. I would highly recommend this course to ANYONE looking to get their M endorsement.

Rob made it the most fun experience...I was honestly sad when it was over (but relieved to have passed!). Everyone in our class passed, and it was cool to see all of our progression over the two days. Coach Rob was very clear with instructions, making it easy to know what was expected before each exercise. He gave us useful, practical and thoughtful information for once we're riding on the roads. We had people in our class who had never ridden a motorcycle, no experience in working a clutch or changing gears and by the end, all participants passed the test. We were fortunate enough to work with Rob and Vince, and even had the opportunity to meet the owner, Miles. In fact, we actually traveled from the Georgetown area primarily due to the online reviews of the coaches. I am glad we made the drive. Everyone was patient, passionate and well educated. Classmates were just as awesome.

Experiencia fantástica: I live north of Austin, but due to reviews, I decided to drive down to Buda instead of taking the course in Austin and it was a fantastic choice! The course was a lot of fun and very informative. After the concentrated hours on the bike, I felt things become more habitual and comfortable and have a good idea of what to keep practicing on my own. Rob was a great teacher and gave us all individual feedback that helped us become better riders. Highly recommend!

Took extra time with each of us during the exercises to give tips and encouragement. He made sure we didn't feel overwhelmed and was just all around spectacular. I passed my first try thanks to his help. As a tip with the DMV: they do require your driver's license AND passport or birth certificate. I am now legal to drive and it's all thanks to Austin Moto Academy... Thanks Vince!

The class is designed for those new to biking, like me. The online course beforehand helps prepare you for the fast-paced 2-day in-person session. Jonathan was super attentive, safety-focused, and explained everything well with diagrams and demonstrations. The course itself is full of practice and a final test on day 2. I highly recommend this motorcycle Academy and would recommend it to anyone in central Texas; it truly exceeded my expectations!

He had such a great, relaxed teaching style that worked well for myself and all of my classmates. There were a few students that struggled in the beginning, but we all ended up passing thanks to Vince's ability to understand and adapt to each students way of learning. I'm actually a little sad that the course is over because I had so much fun. The variety of bikes was also a huge plus. I didn't think I'd like a sport bike, but my mind was changed after piloting a well loved Honda CBR 300 for the duration of the course. Experiencia fantástica: As a 10 year+ rider, I forgot to select renew for my m1 endorsement in CA. I didn’t realize this was missing until I moved to Texas. Last time I took this course I was 16 I braced myself for a long, monotonous weekend of riding but my predictions were pleasantly proven wrong when greeted by ridercoach, Rob. As a former childcare taker, I was amazed by Robs inclusive teaching style, engaging personality, and extensive knowledge. This made the learning experience fun! And what happens when we have fun and feel safe? We retain information better I would highly recommend ridercoach Rob as your instructor. Even if you’ve been riding for a while, this course is incredible to take again with him. I’ll be back for the advanced course PS photo is NOT how I ride. (All the gear, all the time!!)

Experiencia fantástica: I had a chance to take a class with Rob and another class with Amanda. Two very competent instructors. Rob kept things loose and entertaining. They’ll both work with you to make sure you have a good grasp on each of the skills in the course. Amanda was very knowledgeable and patient, and not to mention easy on the eyes. One bit of advice, if you’re an absolute newbie with no experience at all on a bike, like myself, this class will teach you the fundamentals and get you started, but it won’t transform you into an expert rider in a 2 day course, it’s impossible. I would suggest renting a bike before or after to practice the MSF skill exercises, which you can find the cone setup online. I used a little shop in Pflugerville called DBB Powersports. They’ll drop off and pick up a bike in a nearby parking lot by the hour. Practice, practice, practice.

I had a limited riding experience going in but came out with a much better riding knowledge and confidence. Rob is very passionate about riding so it is not just a job for him and it shows in his teaching.

However, Coach Rob took that and coupled it with his easy going nature and really became a resource. Staying open to any and all questions through our course. I am sure of it that he used that information in his approach of hearing us while encouraging us along; Connecting with each myself and the other students rather it be through demonstrating the maneuvers or just checking in on us with a brief “Your doing great!” Or “You okay/good?” With intentionality and grace. The entire class was exceptional and our coach world class. If you want to learn to ride safely with confidence and know you’re in the presence of a coach who truly cares about your journey I stand by Coach Rob. Experiencia fantástica: I took the beginner course with Rob and highly recommend it--he's humorous, encouraging, and incredibly knowledgeable. It was nice that he let us try different types of bikes too. The structure of the MSF course is a ton to fit into one weekend if you've really never been on a bike, but I'm not talented at all and still made it through somehow. The communications leading up to the course were really thorough too, which helped with the stress.

Rob was able to easily break up the class into easy-to-absorb chunks such that I ended the class with not just a certificate but a much clearer understanding of not just what I should be doing but why. As a girl, I think we have a lot of prejudices about taking these types of courses thinking that there will only be men. My advice, don’t be afraid and go for your dreams, it's worth the experience, plus, it was a veeeery fun time.

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing school, owner, and instructor. First off the owner Miles took care of me and helped to support a problem Oklahoma had with the certificate. He went above and beyond to get me a certificate they would accept while I was on leave back home. The course was well ran and comfortable. Jimmy the instructor was amazing at teaching every skill. He took me from no experience to feeling comfortable on a bike. I still need more practice but I have the foundations to continue to practice on my own. I will absolutely be taking more advanced courses with the school. If want someone who will take care of you before, during, and after your course look no further than Austin Moto Academy.

I went from being timid of being on a motorcycle to having a lot of confidence for the future (as well as comfortably learning how to handle a clutch for bikes as well as cars). Working with him made me see how motorcycles are fun, while still respecting the bike. I'd highly recommend Rob and Austin Moto Academy for anybody even remotely interested in learning to ride.

Experiencia fantástica: I enjoyed my time with Austin Moto Academy class (San Antonio meeting). I never have ridden a cycle, so I was very nervous about the whole situation until I got to the location. The two days that were spent at the academy opened my eyes on how important it is to know the “rules of the road” when it comes to riding a motorcycle. Our instructor, Arsenio, was extremely patient with our group. I can honestly say that neither one of us in the group (6 of us) knew even how to turn-on a motorcycle, but Arsenio took his time to guide us to begin to understand the fundamentals of mastering the cycle. I enjoyed the specific details that Arsenio expected us to master to make sure that we ourselves avoid any accidents. I feel that with the training that was provided, I can safely begin practicing on my own cycle. I recommend Austin Moto Academy to anyone who would like to learn the fundamentals of riding a motorcycling, even if just to ride a bike. It has been a great investment, at least for me, to learn as much as possible on the elements on successfully handling a cycle.

Experiencia fantástica: My girlfriend and I signed up to take this class together so that we could get a scooter, but we decided to take the class on motorcycles for the experience. We both went in with very little motorcycle knowledge, but Rob was amazing at teaching us and installing confidence in our abilities. We would both highly recommend classes with him, he was awesome! We now have a new found respect for motorcycles and will probably even get one in the future. Wasn't the plan going in but class was that fun and useful!

Experiencia fantástica: AMA was a great experience both on a learning level and also in a lot of other ways. Not only did I feel encouraged by the instructor who taught my class, but I also felt like the group of people that I took the basic rider class with was a great group; we all wanted to see each other achieve our certifications. There was a time and place during the experience for laughing and joking around with one another, as well as a time to be serious and pay attention and I felt like it led to a camaraderie amongst us that I was not expecting. I took the basic rider class over a span of two days with Rob, who was patient, thorough and never once made me feel like I was dumb no matter how many questions I asked him. My husband also took Rob's intermediate class and enjoyed that for the same reasons. I would recommend AMA to anyone looking to be certified and also highly recommend taking basic-rider/intermediate class with Rob as your instructor! Thank you AMA and thank you kindly Rob!

Experiencia fantástica: I came here because I needed to renew my M license. Had a great time during the 8 scenarios and final assessments. Rob is pretty straight forward explaining and then showing you how to do it, impossible to fail. Had a great time with my Intermediate class teammates. Bring snacks and lunch, you'll have a few brakes under the shade.

Experiencia fantástica: As a beginner with absolutely zero experience on a motorcycle, this class was an absolute blast. Vince was knowledgeable and patient with everyone in the class (who were all beginners like me). He applied real-world skills, tips and tricks that significantly improved my riding ability within a few hours. Also, the entire class ended up passing the course! I loved that the facility had it's own dedicated paved practice area; you weren't sharing a parking lot with a high school or crowded business. I would recommend Austin Moto Academy (and Vince) to anyone looking to dive into this hobby. 10/10

He is passionate about teaching others to ride and does an excellent job helping out the new riders understand why he is teaching a specific skill. The great thing is he does a demo of the skill then everyone does it. The test process was not stressful and he made the students feel comfortable. Go with Rob and you won't be disappointed.

Rob was our instructor and he did a great job leading us through the course. I would highly recommend this course to anyone!

Experiencia fantástica: 5 stars! I had the lucky opportunity of Rob and Vince being my instructors. They were both very personable and thorough with each exercise. On day one I fell off my bike and sprained my arm, lol. I contacted the owner and he got back with me promptly and allowed me to come back the following weekend to complete the class since there was an open spot. I went from knowing jack about how to even turn on a bike to feeling confident in the very basics of how to operate a motorcycle. If I passed than you can too. I highly recommend Austin Moto Academy. If you’re thinking about taking the MSF course, take it here and you’ll have no regrets. You will definitely still need to practice a bunch though after the course Thank you guys a future biker woman has been born✌️

Experiencia fantástica: I took the basic intro class with Jonathan and thought he was a great instructor. He doesn't have any reviews at this location cause he previously taught in San Antonio. If you can take the course with him I highly recommend it. He has a lot of riding experience and I found his teaching style helpful. He took time to explain the reasons behind what we were doing and not just how to ride. Also he's just kind of funny which made the course go by quickly. Anyway the place is great. Everyone I interacted with was helpful and friendly. They even offered me an extra jacket when there was a chance of rain. The class was fun and I learned a lot of new skills. Now I have a lot more confidence as a rider. Thanks guys!
