I might not have pictures but I do say one thing before it closes that you always be a car person though so al I have to say and rest in peace in this beloved track. and if anyone reads this in any time, any year, they know what this means.

Experiencia fantástica: Can’t believe another great track is going. Irwindale was legendary for the racing community. From drag racing to nascar, this track has it all. They took Auto Club and now Irwindale. Southern California needs racing or else there will be lots of illegal street racing. They can build warehouses in the northern area that’s not even being used. I wish a good final season and plenty of memories at Irwindale Speedway. At least it’s in the virtual world.

Experiencia fantástica: Irwindale has a soft spot in the drifting community and always will. Watching D1 make it debut here many moons ago (don’t like to focus on that, makes me feel old lol), Formula D using it as it’s finale event throughout the years, and just instrumental to the overall car scene. I am blessed to have been able to cross the country and visit here for Formula D in 2023. I was surprised by how nice of a track it was. Seating was comfortable in comparison to most tracks, restrooms were clean, easy track to find and in a decent location. I will truly miss Irwindale, and had plans to go back. Thank you for all you have done for the drifting community, and shame to whatever forces are leading to your closure.

Have come here since D1 grand prix drift era, to mooneyes, Import events, Formula D, Thursday drag racing its really fun they play background music, its pretty clean and plenty of mobile restrooms too, they have food area aswell. parking its pricey at “certain events” so hopefully they take it easy on our wallets in that matter ✌but overall great memories with family and many olds friends.

Experiencia negativa: I paiedover 200.00 for tickets for the 4th oncore. The track would not let us bring in an ice chest. I asked if they would fill my water container with ice. They had the nerve to charge me 5.00 for a cup of ice. This used to be our favorite place to bring our kids. I will never return here. I'm 68 yrs old and only drink water. This place sucks now.

Experiencia fantástica: This was my first time at this venue but I can't wait to go back again to see more car racing. I was so impressed with how clean the restrooms were they had an attendant monitoring them which was awesome! There were over 500 cars on the lot, the weather was hot but perfect. Very impressed with this venue, very impressed. I heard the drifting competition will be held there in October!!

Experiencia fantástica: My son's paid for me to drive one of the Irwindale race cars, but after I got there and went through the training I was too claustrophobic to handle being belted in to the cramped space. We were very disappointed, and asked the ladies atthe front desk if we could get a refund. They called out Trevor Huddleston, one of the nicest persons you will ever meet, who suggested that I ride along with him as a passenger in the "two person" race car. He was very polite to get me a bottle of water and slowly worked to get me acclamated being belted in. We then went out on the track (we were the only one's!) and "flew" around it. It was S0 much fun. Trevor turned what could have been a disappointing situation into a "Five Star" event! If you want to drive one of the cars, I would actually recommend riding along (with Trevor if possible) first to experience the thrill, then go drive it yourself.

Experiencia negativa: How in the world does Irwindale Speedway receive the permits and permission to have a loud, obnoxious fireworks show after 10pm on so many occasions? The fireworks can be heard in all directions for miles as my neighbors and I can attest to on Nextdoor. These fireworks shows are unnecessarily loud and startling to pets, children, and adults who need to be asleep at that time. Take better care of your neighbors, IS. These fireworks shows are disturbing the peace.

Experiencia fantástica: Came here for Thursday night thunder and it was great! We arrived at around 6, and there were a few cars already drag racing but as the evening wore on, more and more arrived. Walked around the car park and everyone was very friendly. Food was awesome too - best Burrito and Taco’s! We were visiting from the UK and enjoyed it thoroughly. Great venue. Awesome sunset. 2024 update : came back again in 2024 for Thursday Night Thunder - another cracking evenings entertainment. Big shout out to the compare who was very humorous and made the event even more fun!

Experiencia fantástica: Well...I grew up in Nascar country, Western NC. My uncle owned a half interest in the Asheville race track, and I use to sit in the stands while my Dad drove the tow truck to clear the crashes on the infield. As a teenager some weekends I would be hanging out in somebody's garage working on their race cars. Went to Irwindale Speedway for the first time probably 20 years ago with my family because Mike Johnson, #17, fixed my transportation at his shop in Ontario. CA and raced at Irwindale. Saw my 1st real NASCAR race in Fontana thanks to a colleague that got us tix about 7 years ago... Why the history? Well, Irwindale Speedway is like one of the stomping grounds for young CA racers shooting for the bigs, and a home for many local automotive related businesses to come together for great family fun! I returned last night with a group of neighbors and his friends, and my 13 year old son that didn't want to go. The folks there put on first an incredible 150 lap race on a half-mile oval with some of the local legends and some young folks that will be driving in the upper echelons of car racing in a few years, then turned to the local fun of things like a jet truck burning a mini van out, skid plate racing. figure 8 racing, trailer racing, and the best fireworks show I've seen in years! By the time I got home with that 14 year old who didn't want to go, he was all smiles and glad he went and saw such fun stuff with our neighbor kids. If you have never been to an auto race or if you know the sport of racing, Irwindale Speedway is a great place to bring your family for an evening of LIVE not TV entertainment! I am not a betting guy, but I'll wager when my son wakes up shortly, he's going to want to know when we're going back!

Experiencia negativa: I was just there this past Sunday for a drifting event . I spent 90 dollars for 3 people to enter the event. I literally got ripped off. The event was already over by the time I parked . Why would they not tell me that ? Terrible . 90 dollars is a lot of money for nothing. No wonder this place is going out of business. That's too bad . I've been going there for 30 years . Very disappointed

Puddles anywhere to be seen and then someone gets on the phone with a bad attitude. This place is horrible horrible customer service would not advised

Experiencia fantástica: This was the first time I've ever been to any race event of any kind. I didn't really know what to expect. It was a lot of fun. I'd recommend bringing some ear protection, especially for small children. The cars were quite loud. The last event of the night was a motor home towing a boat race. But, the race wasn't a traditional oval or round shape... it was a figure 8 shaped track. That's right... a race with an intersection. It was just meant to be fun. It wasn't a serious race. There were several close call misses throughout the race, and 1 motor home flipped over. Everyone was safe. But it was lots of fun to watch. Fireworks at the end of all the races. Tickets were $20 online, and parking was $10.

Experiencia negativa: Went for opening day. Was insane the amount of time we had to wait in the parking lot to get out. It was like they didnt expect anyone to come or something. RUINED our night and the great show.

Experiencia fantástica: The nearest race track is open to the public on certain days. Great atmosphere and lots of cool events are held at the race track. Sometimes they'll do Christmas lights events for the children in the parking lots. They also have demolition derby's for those that enjoy a good ol' fashion carnage. I highly recommend wearing ear plugs or ear muffs if you don't want to go deaf lol

Experiencia fantástica: What can I say, Irwindale Speedway is the House of Drift. Legends have been made and rivalries have been started at this iconic Southern California track. The venue itself is classic: large grandstand, suites, and concessions. I’ve had the privilege of watching a few Formula DRIFT finales on these hallowed grounds. I definitely recommend bringing the family to a drift event or any motorsports competition at Irwindale Speedway. There isn’t a bad view in the house and the driver’s paddock is an intimate fan experience. The suites are climate controlled, have sinks, fridges, and TVs.

Experiencia fantástica: I was there for the nitro revival drag racing extravaganza some old front engined dragsters, altereds, funny cars and gassers, the cars and the drivers from a bygone era. It was a great nostalgia trip for us drag racers from the 50s,60s,70s, 80s and 90s. Have not been able to run for 3 years. No quarter mile tracks. Great exhibition!

Must go for car check up first and do not forget to wear your racing helmet. Or just have fun watching other cars from all models and ages. Really fun! My boys like it too.

Experiencia fantástica: BEST MOTORSPORTS FACILITY IN CA!!!! Every Saturday night I go, they always put on a freaking awesome show!!! And it’s absolutely a pleasure!!! Great for families, race fans, kids, and etc!!! It’s also awesome that I got to know the owners of the facility, and they are all amazing to me whenever I go because of how much I love racing. I recommend anyone to come to this amazing facility because it never disappoints!!

Experiencia fantástica: I went with friends to the Irwindale "Night of Destruction," July 2, 2022. It was a GREAT night! 100-lap race, figure-8 race, skidplate race, destruction race, and WONDERFUL fireworks ... all for $25. I can't imagine how this could have been better, and the price was _reasonable!_ Very family-oriented, very patriotic. We all had a great time. Would _definitely_ recommend.

Experiencia positiva: Been here a few times for a few different activities. They have everything here from drive thru Xmas light show, car races, track racing, 1/8th of a mile, car shows, and drifting. Mostly come put for the car shows and it's a huge place to accommodate big or small events. Parking - If it's a big event and parking is full they will have shuttle service to a remote location that will take you about 30 to 45 min each way and that's annoying and a buzz kill. Overall it's a chill place and will come back unless I have to do the shuttle thing again.
